As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we believe that we are freed in Christ to do God's work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus Christ's name throughout the world.
Our synod is located in southwestern Minnesota, covering 22 counties and serving over 100 congregations. We are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences who come together to worship God, learn from each other, and serve our communities.

We also offer support services for those who need it most such as counseling services for individuals struggling with mental health issues or addiction problems; refugee resettlement programs that help refugees find new homes after fleeing war-torn countries; prison ministry programs that provide spiritual guidance for inmates behind bars.
As an ELCA synod member church body we have a strong commitment towards environmental stewardship which includes reducing carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources like solar panels on church roofs etc., promoting sustainable agriculture practices among farmers within our community etc.,
