After taking with the owner / Manager about my concerns. I am coming away impressed with the attitude from this company.
I got the feeling he is concerned with how his business is represented in the community,and will do things to promote a positive image in the cycling community.
I would say that anyone who cares enough to actually communicate, and try to fix things.....thats a company to support
Service department is really great they do their job well done.
Before going here I thought this place was going to be over priced on their service and I thought this place was for rich roadies but I was suprised at their (service) prices and their quality of service.
Do I buy things in the store? Usually not, unless I find something on clearance but the service guys and their head mechanic are great
Not a good experience at all, I felt that it was a a chore to educate me on buying a bike. I would not recommend buying anything from them especially a bike. I was really bummed out the way I was treated because I was a new rider asking questions.
Bought two bikes here last year. Just got a flat. Brought it in and they fixed it right away.
Pros: fast service, friendly and SUPER HELPFUL guys, clean store, plenty of parking, and great pricing
Cons: none!!!

The service department was awesome. I went with flat tire and they fixed it for 10 min. The stuff was very nice and friendly. Loved it!
I do a lot of my own wrenching on bikes, but occasionally there's a random tool I don't have or a very specific fix that's needed that is beyond my knowledge. The service department at Surf City has always been fantastic. The guys are very knowledgeable, even on some rather esoteric stuff, and their prices for mechanical work are fair. Because of their helpfulness and, in some cases, willingness to go well out of their way to help me with a fix, I make it a point to shop there whenever I can. Yeah, I shop online too and buy used bits because I'm always on a tight budget, but there's an intangible benefit to having a bike shop like this locally that cannot be replicated online, so it worth it to me to support these guys whenever I can. This shop is definitely worth it in my opinion. Support your local bike shop, whatever it is, whenever you can. For me, that's Surf City.
The best shop in Orange County. From what I understand they're under new ownership over the past year and have made some big changes from what I can see. Great staff really knowledgeable..
I think it's funny reading the last comment by Pete that he comments on something unrelated to the store and it's not even factual.....but I guess he has an agenda. I've had a chance to do a charity ride with their team and they were all super engaging.
Went here to buy a hard rock. Very professional and friendly crews members. Good Specialized dealer.
