I'm from out of state so I am not able to visit often. The staff seemed helpful and nice, but honestly the place is filthy. The smell of urine and feces permeates the halls. My aunt was laying in the same dirty bed with dirty bedding both days I was there. She looked unkempt and uncared for. It just breaks my heart. I am only a niece, but I wished I could have picked her up and carried her out of that awful place.

Sit in the parking lot some time and watch the patients turn on call lights and then 20 minutes later staff come in and turn off the lights without attending to the patients. Patients sitting in excrement for 4 hours. Frequent patient infections and the overwhelming smell of urine in the facility. Failure to follow hospital discharge orders and then claiming the orders were never received. All of these are reasons why I will no longer be recommending Sunshine Terrace to families.
This is a stellar facility. The staff works well with each resident of the care facilities, and there is always fun activities going on to keep depression and loneliness at bay. I highly recommend Sunshine Terrace foundation for your nursing and rehab needs.
Me dad just left Sunshine Terrace yesterday. It was impressive to me how each person who interacted with him was truly engaged in his recovery. Even the person who emptied his trash had a kind word and called him by name. The facility is lovely, clean and welcoming and the caregivers are fabulous Thanks to all who helped!
Sunshine has been great! Residents are kept active and busy. The staff gets to know the residents and most seem to enjoy their job. I would encourage families to visit often and communicate with the staff as soon as an issue comes up. It is my experience that if their is a problem the administration is quick to fix it.
My sweet mom lived there several months before she passed. What a wonderful caring staff!! They had meetings with my mom and my siblings to understand her needs, what they needed to change or do to be able to give the best course of action to help her and us. When I had to leave her I always felt like she was in the best hands and that she would be cared for in the best possible way. At this point in her life it was hard to see the decline of her body and mind but the staff helped us understand what was happening and how we could help. I could feel the love and respect many of them had for their sweet clients living there, I m sure it s extremely hard to watch so many people suffer, they were loving and kind, tried to brighten each last moment we shared with my mom until she passed on. The staff was reverent, caring, sympathetic and showed love and compassion to our family, I will forever be grateful for their care!!
Wow! I'm blown away at how incredible this place is! Their skilled nursing staff is fully prepared and excited to care for the elderly in cache valley. Without a bad word to say, I will forever refer this facility to everyone I meet. Five stars all around!
