The associate was well versed in the needs of newcomers to paddle boarding and could anticipate the questions almost before we asked them. Furthermore, their equipment selection for human powered watercraft seemed very inclusive and wide ranging. As a newcomer, I would feel quite confident in purchasing preparatory gear and watercraft here.
Stopped in to look at life preservers and the lady would not even acknowledge we were there. Needless to say, we will take our business elsewhere!

I have rented from Sunshine Sports as part of two trips to the Billings area for some water/river activities. Staff is informative and helpful. Before my initial visit, I contacted other outfitters for comparison. This is simply the place for rentals, gear and more!

We are just getting into rafting and the staff has been so super helpful with pointers, suggested routes, and gear. They have really made our transition into the hobby so much smoother. I can't recommend the shop enough.

Called and rented a bear fence, told them I would need to pick it up on a Sunday and was told no problem. Two days before my scheduled pick up they contacted me and said I had to pick it up on Saturday or Monday instead of Sunday as was agreed to. I live out of state and said I could not, so I asked them to refund my $. They said no refunds since I cancelled to late. Had to challenge the charges on my credit card to get a refund. I would rather get ate by a bear then to rent from then again.

We walked in not knowing alot about water rafting and after talking with Shawna we learned a lot about the boats, rivers and gear. I would highly recommend taking a ride on whatever you are planning on purchasing with them at Lake Elmo on Tuesday nights.Mike gave us newbies valuable information.We are heading out camping with our new canoe from them tomorrow. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends!
All the quality gear you need, in stock. I've purchased everything from obscure replacement hardware to fully loaded raft packages. They have it all, and if they don't, they will find it or build it. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
