Good spring skiing, awesome glades. The ticket prices for mid week spring skiing is incredibly over priced... over $100/ per person. There is also either super beginner terrain, which during the spring time makes the traverses annoying because you have to walk them when it is warm out. The steeps are great, not too challenging, but there doesn't seem to be many intermediate trails, it's either steep or flat. But, the overall experience was good.

This mountain is the best ! Whether it is October or February, Sunday River provides! Great beginner terrain around the Chondola and South Ridge Express! Intermediate terrain is spread out around the entire mountain but best on Spruce and Barker. For advanced terrain, head to
White Cap and Locke especially for early season on Locke. The best runs:Green: Lollapalooza (Jordan) Blue: American Express (Spruce) Black: Right Stuff (Barker) Double Black: Agony (Barker). The mountain is great on powder days, especially Jordan Bowl, which has stashes for the longest. The mountain has 15 chairlifts and 3 magic carpets. The best terrain parks are in South Ridge area. Always have a great time and I highly recommend!

Sunday River Ski Resort is a great family mountain for all levels of skiers! The staff is extremely welcoming and offers lessons for all ages and sports. Aside from being a ski resort they also have tubing and Zip Lining course that runs throughout the woods of the mountain peak of North Ridge. The resort consists of 8 different peaks, BUT they have big plans of reinventing themselves by 2025 with new trails and more offpist. Busy during the holidays so definitely be sure to get a day during the week for those that are frequent skiers looking to shred the mountain. They offer a variety of different style parks depending on which peak you're on. Schools like GOULD visit often and there are also a lot of ski racing activities going on on the Lock Mountain usually on the trail "Monday Morning". Overall great mountain for all levels of skiing and the 8 different peaks will keep you busy forever. Great food as well that can be found at the bottom of each peak. Foggy Goggle is a must visit at the bottom of South Ridge.

Spectacular views from the summit, just pray it isn't foggy. Be sure to bring a binocular to better appreciate the beauty, the houses atop the mountains infront are very picturesque. Be sure to keep looking behind during the ascent and enjoy the view (use the open lift than the gondola), descent was gondola only (hence you can't click good pics of that view unfortunately). There are hiking paths atop the summit too, which probably gives much nicer views.

Place is BIG! 7 or 8 mountains with 80 or so trails. Lots of lodging and entertainment.
Just in the winter.
Rather slow and not very lovely in summer.
Better make lots of snow and hope for a good winter snow cover. Place is looking a bit sad this time of year.
Gondola ride was fun and views are spectacular.

On a Saturday, in my opinion their capacity limiting seemed to not be having an effect/insufficient. Large (masked) crowds of hundreds in 25-30 minute lift lines at virtually every lift across the resort, seems the covid-adjusted uphill capacity seems to be badly insufficient for the amount of skiers on the hill. This was a sellout day, I would encourage management to lower the amount of tickets/pass reservations on weekends, waiting 25 min between each run in massive lines isn t worth all of the hassle of going out this season, in my opinion.

hadn't been back here for years but as a more experienced snowboarder now I found the mountain to be a lot more manageable. there are lots of flat trails to traverse requiring a lot of speed. lots of easy trails and expert runs with natural features! fun day!
