My system was installed within the time promised and the company did great in keeping me posted on the timeline. My system is up and running at peak performance. Best of all, everything the agent promised was true. My system cost me $0 and the warranty is good through the lifetime of my contract. Thank you Suncrest!!

Suncrest in Greenville, SC was awesome to work with! They went above and beyond what it took to help us get solar! Justin was great, always available when we needed him, walked us through every step of the process and made this whole thing easy and enjoyable! I would highly recommend Suncrest if you're looking to go solar and would ask for Justin!

BEWARE! ... upfront everything seems great but once they leave do not expect ANY customer service from this group, they filed paperwork wrong with Duke (didn't update duke of larger system), so now the rebates they promised are not correct. Duke energy is involved and they have heard nothing from Suncrest in more than 3 weeks since the company was informed they messed up. Go ahead and try and call customer service, i called in at 3 seconds past their phone lines opening, yes thats right 3 seconds, their automated system said it would be over an hour wait, 2 hours into the wait time and still being told the wait time is over 1 hour.

Supposed to be able to log in and check my system through my PC, yep still waiting on that info , 2 months and counting. I certainly hope it is better in other areas of the country but in South Carolina it is bad, real bad service

Great product, HORRIBLE customer service.

I would give 0 stars if i could.

Suncrest did the right thing and paid for having our water damage repaired. I've updated to give them three stars. Solar has worked great; it's neat to get a negative usage on our SDG&E bill. They're a good company overall; I'd recommend them. Just so people have an idea of what happened and can go in with both eyes open, I'm leaving the story below. We got solar panels via a Power Purchase Agreement with Suncrest (they own the panels and take care of everything as far as installation/maintenance/upkeep; we buy solar power that we use) in 11/2015. The representative who won our business was Blair Townsend. Blair is awesome: he's always courteous, friendly, and professional, and he was always punctual for appointments we'd set. He never pressured us to get us to sign up; in fact, he wrote us a thank-you card and gave us a small giftcard to Cheesecake Factory a few weeks after we opted to go with Suncrest. He's the only reason I'm willing to give them a star, as he's been a real pleasure to work with.
The issues began the first time it rained after the installation of the solar panels (late 11/2015) was complete. We noticed some water damage occurring in the drywall in our master bathroom and the closet in our master bedroom. I should note here that the solar panels were installed directly above our master bathroom, our master bedroom, and the closet in our master bedroom. I called a plumber to come take a look, fearing a pipe was leaking behind the wall. He cut fairly large holes in the drywall of the bathroom and closet, but it turns out there are no pipes in the area of the wall with the water damage in our bathroom or closet. When I told him we'd just had solar panels installed and showed him where the panels were installed, he said, "Looks to me like you need to call your solar company..."
I then called Suncrest to see when they could send someone out to take a look at the water damage and seal any holes in our roof as a result of the solar installation. I also filed a damage claim with our homeowner's insurance company.
Suncrest sent a gentleman out a few weeks later; he took a look at the roof and the solar installation and said everything was good as far as the installation and that there must coincidentally be some holes in the roof that were allowing the water in. When I told him what the plumber said, he said that Suncrest wasn't going to do anything unless we had someone from a roofing company come out and show that any holes in our roof were due to the solar installation.
I got a gentleman from RoofRX to come out in 2/2016 (they were covered up with business, so that's the soonest they could schedule us) to take a look to give us an estimate to repair any holes in our roof. He took a look at our roof, and then he noticed the solar installation and went to check the brackets used to mount the solar panels to the roof. He immediately identified several holes for the mounting brackets that had been left unsealed after the installation of the solar panels. When I told him what had happened and showed him where we had the water damage, he said the water damage was directly below the unsealed holes he'd identified.
When I called Suncrest and presented them with this information and the photos that the gentleman from RoofRX had taken, they agreed to send someone out to seal the holes (they were able to send someone out two days later).
That seems to me like it should be pretty clear that Suncrest is at fault for our water damage as a result of the faulty installation, but they sent another guy out after it rained a few weeks later. He didn't find any new wet spots in our attic and said, "Well, looks like we sealed the holes, so we're good!" When I reminded him about the water damage to our drywall, he said, "Suncrest refuses to accept responsibility for the damage and pay for repairs."
While we've really enjoyed having solar, the behavior of Suncrest as far as standing behind their work and fixing problems they've created has been substandard. They only get one star because of Blair (zero stars otherwise).

Awesome company and wonderful saleman. Let us take our time deciding. Installed free, small damage to some roof tiles; they replaced within a week. No charges. Best Summer ever cranking the ac; never paid over $70 for AC out in hot north fontana, desert! Even received a $$$ gift card for signing up! Recommeding them to others & wish we did this 3 years ago when we first bought the home. THANK YOU! hope i get something for all my referrals now ;)

CAUTION! CAUTION! Do your research.

CAUTION! CAUTION! Do your research.
In my 60+ years, this is the worst company I have ever done business with.
I started my process in March 2016 and now Mid July 2016 I still don't have completion after being told they were done 3 different times. I have been making payments on system and still not complete.
I can't get any one from Suncrest Solar to call me. I went o the finance company Mosaic to try to get help from them. They contacted Suncrest for me and told me they would call me within a day, that was a week ago and I still have not heard from them. I didn't go to Mosaic for help until several failed attempts myself to get a response from them. I was told different times from their operators they would have some one contact me, It has yet to happen.
Not ONE single thing they have told me has come to be. In the beginning I liked my sales rep (which he won't contact me either now) and had set up a meeting with my HOA which I am on the board with for him to come and do a presentation. I had to cancel after going thru the installation process with Suncrest and the lack of communication with the company. I had no problems communication with them prior to installation, but since the problems started, they will NOT communicate with me.

I have now had to pay for legal advice and have contacted the SC state attorney's office and the California's state attorney's office.
I have never been so disappointed in a company that I have done business with in my life, especially after spending $30,000 with them.

My best advice / warning is to so some serious reseach before doing business with Suncrest Solar.
