This is my second time coming here. The staff here are phenomenal. I was on 3N where Vic, Ange, Keysa, Leopold, Josh, Chad, and everyone else on the wing helped me tremendously with fighting my mental illness. They gave me resources for discharge so I could continue my care outside of SUN and really set me up to be a hell of a lot healthier than when I came in :) When I m having a crisis I always come to SUN. Since my last visit things have already changed for the better. They re constantly striving to improve the facility and patient experience. If you have to go to a psychiatric facility, I m confident there s none better than sun in the central Ohio area.

Felt very alienated here. Staff refused to give me the correct dosage of my medication and refused to listen to me or the other patients about anything. Never have I ever felt more hopeless than when I was staying here, when I came to sun I was in a very bad place but it only got worse staying here. I was treated like a child, not like an adult. If you want help Please refrain from coming here. I hope one day sun has better and more understanding staff.

would give 0 stars if i could, staff didn t care and the techs were terrible. always yelled out or insulted and they would openly talk about the patients to the other staff members. did more harm than good and i understand why people would have to go back there. made it seem like it was embarrassing to go back to the psych ward and hardly wore their mask right or at all. no communication between the staff whatsoever and we were always yelled at for something. treated us like we were prisoners instead of kids who just needed help. completely dismissive and would not recommend to anyone

This is my 2nd time here. I feel very safe at this facility and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is decent and the counselor and staff all worked together to help meet my needs. And they do allow you to smoke which helps.

Some of the most compassionate and caring staff ever . They've helped me kick opiates countless times since 2018 and never given up nor judged me id recommend this place to anyone and the food quality is the best . Even at times when I was ruthless with staff and at my lowest they were there to help me pick up the pieces each time with no judgement .

This has good for me because I got to the point I really thought I was dying. I thought my inside were tearing from inside out. I didn't want to come but my Mom and daughter made me. Everybody from residents to staff have been amazing to me. It has been an excellent experience and I want to Say ty to everyone for everything and if and when I need anything again I will definately be back here again. I will definately recccomend thisplace to friends and family. God bless.

My experience here at son behavioral was really good , was very pleased with all the stuff. Miss K was here when I was admitted and she was very helpful , Thank you to everyone

First of all, I don't know why they show a basketball area you can't go. Second of all the food is elementary school quality and lukewarm by the time you get to it if you're on the third floor or higher. You can go back for seconds which is nice.

Now, if you have a medical issue it's completely ignored and regarded as paranoia. I had surgery and ended up with a post op infection during my stay here. When I mentioned to the staff that I was feeling ill they completely dismissed my concerns and refused to call the medical doctor. It wasn't until I was vomiting that they called him. Then instead of releasing me for a medical concern they forced me to take an ambulance (I will be disputing this charge don't worry) and didn't follow proper procedure so the hospital was able to medically discharge me. Now Sun is holding my belongings hostage.

I was a patient personally in the adolescent unit. South. This place is not worth it. Though the therapists are good there are very few staff who actually care. The food is nasty, and the beds are hard. I do not recommend. They even skip out on ur meds at times

Sun behavioral is a very mediocre facility. Although they do go above & beyond to make sure their patients don't color outside the lines in arts & crafts that is truly all the help they offer. Not only do they lack in communication, they also seem to be very short staffed & tempered. I can honestly say I spoke with ONE person out of dozens that was well mannered & seemed to truly have my family members best interest at heart. 7 days of pure misery is what my family was put through along with many hoops to jump through just to get a phone call back pertaining to any information of our loved one. Not to mention a wrong diagnosis & medication given. It's not easy having a family member suffering a medical problem, but when you add in unprofessional staff, and incompetent doctors it makes it unbearable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. & will most definitely be reporting them to anyone I can get to listen. I pray for any lost soul who happens to stumble into this place.
