My husband tripped over rocks at our home in Overgaard late in the evening. I drove him to Summit Healthcare Emergency at 12 midnight. The nurses and the Dr. on duty 10-9-2020 to 10-10-2020 took real good care of my husband and I was allowed to be with him. He ended up breaking his leg (both bones). The medical team answered all of our questions, didn't mind us asking questions.
April 3 - April 6, 2021. Amazing, attentive, and caring staff. Everyone from doctors, nurses, radiology, technicians, housekeeping, and cafeteria. Extremely attentive and responsive to our needs. Utilized up to date technology. They were so helpful and professional in their care of our son who had serious injuries from a skateboard accident. The ER team was fantastic and they kept us fully informed of decisions and recommendations. The show low region is lucky to have such great people at this hospital facility.
So far so good. Able to get quick appointments for myself and my children. They are taking covid very seriously, which I appreciate.
I had an extreme nosebleed for more than two days before I finally called 911 EMTs. THE EMTs WERE GR8 and said I should go to THIS ER so we did.
Once there everything was one-to-three smooth and professional from Admit, and a short wait in a secure area with social distancing to being seen in an ER space by 3 health care professionals. All were kind, helpful, courteous and attentive and I was taken care of promptly and appropriately. Think it may have been less than an hour, start to finish!!! As a former healthcare pro I wanted to say WELL DONE & THANK YOU.
The emergency room he is usually very busy efficient although you might wait a few hours. The staff nurses doctors and everyone who work and for hospitals are very friendly getting what the patient needs. The doctors are very knowledgeable they don't listen very well to their patients however can be frustrating for patients
The cafeteria staff is great the variety of foods is awesome. Friday at lunch time. Beer batter fish They have ice cream frozen yogurt, roasted chicken different vegetables and soups each day and the cafeteria staff receives to diet from your doctor they help assist you in maintaining that diet
even though I don't like most people in the medical profession the doctors nurses clinicians, staff, everybody works very hard so s the patient gets great Medical care even being 4 hours from the Valley.

So after all the accusations.come to find out I have old school phenomena I feel aful but at least it wasn't drug withdraws or alchole.likei was accused of in this hospital.they did a shift change and the new Dr spoke to me like I was a human being.thank you.
The ER staff was friendly, provider was knowledgeable. Later in OB we had another great bunch of staff members take care of us. Was nice to have caring people on such a bad day.
