Wait time in office prior to seeing doctor is unacceptable! 45 minutes before even the exam room wait is rude and ridiculous. Without a doubt, the rudest, snippy and poorly dressed staff ever. Office manager should be fired if this is their opinion of customer service!! Phone manners are non existent. Phone calls don't get returned. Really pathetic! Find another pathology practice now!
We waited over 30 minutes just to get test results from a nurse. No respect for patients time here.
By far the worst customer service I have received at a medical office. Erica gave a lot of attitude due to us having to reschedule. I had to leave my uncle at the office that speaks Spanish. We had to reschedule due to a miss understanding that they spoke Spanish in that office. At the end of the day We were fine rescheduling but she made it into this big deal and gave us attitude. Making it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for her. Well you re going to need to reschedule, how do you think he is going to understand what they are telling Him in a very harsh tone. I just looked at her and said ok.
When we went to reschedule with the other lady, we had a woman interrupt us. We were never talking to her but she tells me you have to be 18 and older to translate. I looked at her and said ok I m 22 years old. Thanks for assuming and getting into our business ma am !

Experience was horrible. Appt was at 11:15 am and PA still had not come into the exam room by 11:50 am. Asked how much longer and was given a snotty answer. Got up and left with my dad. Very very unprofessional to make a new patient wait that long. Do not go to these people!!!
11/13/2019 updated - My father passed away on 11/2/2018 and I receive a bill for care on 10/24/2018???? DNR was signed at Alexian Brothers Hospital on 10/21/2018 there should have not been any doctors for care after the DNR was signed. He was transferred to hospice on 10/24/2018 so why was there even a dr from Suburban Lung Associates in his room?? This is a definite Medicare FRAUD!!!!!!! If I had the time I would file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General for Medicare Fraud. Not sure how they even got my address to send the bill to me. DO NOT GO HERE FOR CARE!!!!!! NOT PAYING THE BILL
I started seeing this office in the spring of 2016 and had no issues with them. This past august i got a call saying we need to reschedule your appointment because you can't see a doctor and have a breathing test done on the same day. There office policy changed and said insurance company wont allow the same day anymore. I however called my insurance company to verify this and they said i could do it on the same day. I think they are trying to milk there patron for money since now you have to pay 2 copays.
the Elk Grove Village office is by far the worse medical office I have ever been to. The customer support staff is so put off by you calling them when you walk in to the clinic they have the worst attitude. I have never felt so unwelcome at a doctors office as I have in this clinic.
Be ready to wait for Atleast 2 hours past your appointment time. Not sure why they give us appointment when we have to wait that long
They think patients and their relatives have time to wait and only they are working
Frustrating experience everytime I visit
Appointment for my husband at 3:30. Waited until 4:30. Went up to the desk and asked how much longer. Oh we will have to reschedule you. Are you kidding?!!! Already had his breathing test last week. We immediately called our primary for a new referral. Completely unacceptable!
If my husband did not like Dr. Keller so much I would look for a new pulmonary doctor. His office staff in Arlington Heights location is extremely rude. After checking in one of the girls named Karen stated I don't love my job I love my check. Well if you don't love your job find a new one. Then the nurse who took his B/P and checked us in very rudely stated that the office phones went to answering service at 4PM. My husband is scheduled for surgery and needed clearance from Dr. Keller prior to that cut off was 4PM I made sure that the surgeons office got the information they needed but will never visit the Arlington Heights Office again and if forced to like this time we WILL FIND A NEW DOCTOR. These girls need to be trained on how to deal with patients.
I have seen several doctors over the last year and this practice is by far the worst I have ever encountered. My appointments were always changed and any testing that was done, I never received the results until a week later and than only because I called for them more than once. Left a message once and 10 days later I received a call.
They are focused more on money then the patient care
I came here on a referral basis from my primary care physician. I have to say that I am beyond frustrated with this office & their lack of care. If you want much better service, give your business to Dupage Medical Group. Not only do they give your business a top priority they care about you. The doctors here are very nice and professional, you will find the basic information out with Suburban Lung. If you want to make small changes to your sleep machine, whether it be through Apria or Suburban Lung, it is like pulling teeth. I attempted to order supplies through the representative of Apria 4 times in January (with saying that my order was successful and I should receive it within 2-3 days). They continued to give me the run around, until I couldn t handle it any more. I literally told this front desk lady (which the stapler on the desk had more of a personality), that if I cannot resolve my issues by the end of January (note: I attempted to order sleep machine supplies a total of 9 times), that I would take my business elsewhere. The lady told me, If you think your business is that important to us think again, we have more clients like you to take care of, and if you would like to switch providers it will only make my job easier . Today was the day I switched because of the lack of care at this facility. Utilize a different practice if you want better care. Also, don t call their office if you get lost in the building trying to find them they pretty much tell you good luck and to find your own way. Terrible customer service/office staff and even worse that they use Apria for their medical supplies. If you want an experience that will leave you frustrated, angry and beyond annoyed use Suburban Lung & Apria.
