I read so many bad reviews of different endocrinologists, I was scared of how my experience would go! But I was very pleasantly surprised! I saw Dr. Tzelepis and he was great. Really nice, and caring. Plus he had already studied my chart when he walked in, so we didn t have to waste time with me explaining all my medical history. He took the time to explain everything to me with my new diagnosis. He also was very thorough with the physical exam and well as getting my old thyroid ultrasound records so he could compare them while he did the new ultrasound. I highly recommend him!

Get here at 12:45pm with an appointment set for 1pm. Get placed in the exam room on time but dr doesn't show up until 20mins after my appointment time. Asked a few questions, looks at my journal and does a crappy quick exam. I'm done and out at 1:58pm. Get placed in a line to make future appointments with a nurse practitioner because dr is booked until October! All to come back another day for bloodwork. Officially out at 2:10pm

Avoid this facility! I saw Dr Tzelepis for an initial consultation. He ran a battery of tests and then I never heard back. Had to talk to his nurse twice to get any sort of reply and even then he had no advice on how to proceed with my ailment.

More importantly, they overcharged for my visit. I saw the doctor for 20 minutes and my EOB reflected a visit of over 1 hour. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to correct it. I had to submit a fraud case to my insurance company which is still pending.

Dr. Mario Chan is a sexist, condescending doctor. My appointment went over very poorly. He talked down to me the entire appointment. If you are a female do not go here.

He looks over your chart and makes remarks about your medications. Heaven forbid if you take birth control, he will say that you dont want children. Not to mention that he is dosinterssted the entire time and is very cold with his conversations.

Be ready to be unimpressed and riddled with snarky remarks.

I have had the worst experience that I can remembe...

I have had the worst experience that I can remember trying to schedule an appointment as a new patient. The women who answer the phone are so incredibly cold and not helpful. A family friend who is a doctor recommended I come to this practice. Since I didn t have a doctor of my own recommend me they kept threatening to cancel my appointment. I don t have recent bloodwork (was hoping to get help from them) so they kept saying without recent bloodwork I can t come there. I have a diagnosis that requires me seeing an endocrinologist. Im curious if the doctors at this practice recognize how unwelcoming their receptionist staff is. It s a shame because I can t even review the doctors which I m sure are great at what they do. Very disappointed and frustrated as someone who is a qualified patient.

I have had weight / metabolism issues for over 3 decades. I feel like I am an expert with all my health issues. But I'm not. The staff here provided options & routine monitoring that fit my lifestyle. I ask a lot of questions which probably made the doctor late for their next appointment - sorry. They have in house nurses, lab, dietician , an educator - its always a full house. Docs here are trained by Joslin diabetes center. I don't always like what they tell me but I know they have my best interest.

I went to this office in the past and just recently went back for help with my diabetes. I explained to the doctor that I have problems with medications and felt that giving more insulin to someone who is insulin resistant is not good. She put me on Trulicity and Humalog which had a negative interaction. I spent an entire afternoon and evening in the ER as a result. On top of it all i was told she didn t believe me when I called and reported that I was ill from both drugs and refused to speak with me at that time. I admit I yelled at the nurse when she refused to put the doctor on the phone.

I recommend that type 2 diabetics seek help elsewhere. Find a doctor who will work with you on your diet/nutrition and who won t give you insulin which actually makes you even more sick. One who listens and believes you and actually reads your file before meeting with you.

When here for about a year for some hormone issues...

When here for about a year for some hormone issues, by my doctor s referral. I kept on telling them I believe it s PCOS, but they kept testing me and having come back for more blood work. By the end of it all they said it was PCOS, I saw Dr. Fine and she was very cold and just kept on saying go lose weight and it will clear it s self up. With no tools other than try this or try that. I left defeated every time.

I was fed up and no longer wanted to take medication to put a bandaid on the issue. I ended up going to Aligned Modern Health, where they took care of the issue with a natural approach.
