INADEQUATE SERVICE
I took my car on Monday, March 31st for a diagnosis, I was told they would have my car 3-5 days, I was in contact with my advisor, during the week. He told me they had ran some test but weren't able to find anything. I picked my car up today, my paperwork states they started the car several times, it must be an intermittent issue. They didn't charge me for a diagnostic test which I thought was great until I got in the car and the check engine light was on. How do you give someone the car back with a light that wasn't on when you brought it in and don't even tell them. I came right back before they closed and he then told me the readers weren't able to read the codes, so they don't know what the issue is. I'm thinking to myself, so you did you not diagnosis the vehicle like I asked? Then the advisor tells me the part is $53 but it will be over $1k to install it just so they can tell me why the check engine light is on. I left there went to auto zone, and it gave me several electrical codes, which is what I was describing all along, the fob was being read by the vehicle every time. Mind you when he plugged in the reader, it says it gave him several codes, but they went off. I am so disappointed with the service I received here. 5-days with no vehicle and I pick my vehicle up with the same issue as when I left it along with a new issue. I understand it was closing time, but you don't send your customers away dissatisfied. I work a dealership, and this is not how we treat our customers.
