I ve been picking up here for 6 years now. I m friends with the dock workers and we have developed a good business relationship. Sometimes my load is late but it s almost always because of a machine breakdown. Photos are my drone footage

This has been one of the best places I have worked. I'm in plant 3 on 2 nd shift. It's not easy work, but the VSL makes it manageable. Somehow she makes it flow smoothly and efficiently. My VSL is Michelle and she is an extraordinary leader. I am personally grateful for her and amazed with her work ethic.

It's a great place to work just the pay wage could be better in complete honesty. Most people are great individuals to work with but some can be stubborn and hard headed. The jobs at each press are really easy to run. They run at slow to medium pace, which is easy.

I had worked at SMP previously and returned for the third time the week of Labor Day. Yesterday, which would have been my 5th day, I was cancelled, supposedly because of a problem with the MIRs. In 5 days I only had occasion to complete 2 mirs. Does this constitute termination? The 2 previous work experiences were great in every way. This last one has destroyed any positive feelings towards SMP. It has made advances in processes, but lacks efficient training and people skills. I am extremely sad that my return turned out to be such a disappointing end.

I work in shipping dept at SMP and i like it. Would be better if it paid more but other than its ok
