NOTHING WENT RIGHT! The customer service from STS ...

NOTHING WENT RIGHT! The customer service from STS received throughout the entire process was unacceptable. From the rebooking of our resort reservations which was not approved by us, to the false advertisement on your website, to the unresponsiveness and insensitivity of your customer s concerns, our experience with STS Travel has been disappointing, to say the least.
First, while planning our trip and during the course of discussion prior to reservations, we indicated interest in staying at the Breezes Hotel in Nassau. When our group of friends made our initial payment with STS Travel reserving the trip, the confirmation email stated that we were booked at the Breezes Hotel. When I spoke to Jake via telephone regarding a separate matter, we were told that we were not staying at the Breezes, but instead staying at the Melia Hotel. We were not informed that our reservation at the Breezes was cancelled, rebooked, or changed in any way.
Second, your website indicates that your company offers a party package for Nassau. When I called about this party package the women on the phone stated they did not even sell trips to the bahamas? weird considering I just made my final payment. I contacted your company several times, leaving messages each time regarding this package and were told that they would receive a response within 24 hours. We received no such response.
Third, when our flight with Jet Blue was cancelled, I contacted Jake numerous times and left several messages for some assistance. No calls were returned. I called the emergency line, but the representative from your company was extremely unhelpful and inattentive. We had to rebook an entire separate one-way flight on our own with no help from our so-called travel agents causing us to arrive an entire 24-hours late to our original reservation and a great deal of expense. Though the flight cancellation was not STS fault assistance in the situation would have been helpful. When we cancelled our one-way flight through Jet Blue stated and wrote down on a receipt we would be receiving a refund for $241.00, but since we book through STS all money would be refunded directly to them. When receiving a refund receipt from STS Travel we were only refunded $164.90.

Booking through STS Travels was literally the best...

Booking through STS Travels was literally the best decision I could have made for my senior year spring break trip. My trip had literally 95 people on the trip and Jake and his team were able to expertly handle everything. I reached out to him 6 months in advance and just let him know about all of our plans and details and he was extremely accommodating. He gave me multiple different trips and let me figure out what my group wanted. Through the 6 months before the trip, there were cancellations, name changes, and other circumstances that I definitely could not have dealt with by myself. Jake figured out everything and was able to get refunds back for everyone who could not come on the trip. The planning was made 110% times simpler through booking through STS.

Now onto the actual trip. It was literally how he outlined it for us. Checking into the southwest flight was a bit different since we were booking through a travel agent but once we figured that out it was smooth sailing. After we landed in Cabo, the bus was waiting for us to take us to the hotel. There were no problems with that at all. On site, there were travel reps ready to help us do whatever we wanted. That includes banana boats, jet skis, booze cruise, etc. They provided transportation for bars but it was not free.

Overall, the trip was perfectly planned and so much fun at the resort. I merely had to act as the middle man between the actual planning process and the people wanting to come on the trip so that made my life much much easier. I personally do not understand what these other reviews are referring to. Whenever I called Jake he would pick up my phone immediately or return the call by the next day. He was extremely responsive and helped out in any way he could .

Great college spring break vacation! STS was extremely helpful and was very prompt with their communications. Organizing a large group vacation is not easy, but STS was a great facilitator. I would highly suggest working with them to other college students who are looking for a one-stop shop for spring break!

I recently went to Punta Cana as the group leader from a group from Boston University. STS was extremely well organized from the start and was good about communicating payment information, party package details and information about the resort we stayed at, Occidental Caribe. Kristin Van Dyke was my group s rep and she was amazing and instrumental in planning the trip. Furthermore, she stayed with us at the resort and helped us get to and from the clubs each night. We had a lot of fun with Kristin and I would recommend her as a rep to anyone!

Do not book through STS. Me and 10 of my friends booked a spring break trip. Over half of us got the insurance policy, and it took 11 MONTHS to get refunded, and only after I got a lawyer involved. I had personally called our airline who gave us a cash refund (to STS as they booked it) and these sleezy people had the audacity to try and make us take airline credit rather than the cash they had just received. This was the biggest pain and I would sooner stick a fork in my eye than book with them again.

STS travel is a scam company.
You will not be able to cancel regardless of buying their travel protection program. if you do, they will tell you less the airfare, and then you can get a credit thru them. STS taking advantage of students from around the country. no one ever gets money back from them. Smug jerks when you call and ask, they are well versed in any conversation in NOT giving you money back. Do not fall for it. Do Not use them

Oh gosh here we go again. This group is looking for web developer. They are always looking because no one wants to work with them. Be sure not to catch the head after lunch, he will fall asleep during the interview. Wow. Don't waste your time folks.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Everyone was incredible to work with and so helpful. The trip was awesome and I wish I could never leave. Having reps on the resort is so helpful and comforting in a place you don't know. We stayed at the RIU Santa Fe in Cabo, Mexico and I would go back in a heartbeat. The hotel staff was so helpful! We all left the resort and went downtown to the clubs and walked around. We felt safe the entire time. As for our flights we flew out of Chicago and had direct flights. We looked up prices for our flights and they were WAY more expensive than going through this package with the company. (especially for direct flights). Definitely travel with this company!! :)

Our group had a great experience with STS Travel. Our agent, Jake, was very helpful throughout the entire process, from the moment we reached out to the weeks leading up to our spring break. He was very accommodating and patient with us. When Jake was unavailable, another agent was able to help us, so the company does a good job working together. STS prepared us for the trip and our week spent in Punta Cana went as smoothly as planned. The transportation to/from airport to hotel and vice versa was timely and we experienced no issues. Also, the STS Reps at our hotel, Occidental Punta Cana, were super friendly and helpful. We were able to book the party cruise at the hotel through the 2 reps and it couldn't have been easier. If the reps didn't know an answer to a question, they went out of their way to find that info for us. It's not easy to plan a vacation for 19 people, but STS made it easy for us. The only issue our group experienced was that of the 6 rooms we had, there was one room assignment on the other side of the hotel while the other 5 were on another side. Overall, we had a great experience with STS Travel so I would definitely recommend using this company to book a spring break for a group of college students!!

I had a wonderful time with my 3 friends in Cancun at the Grand Oasis! STS organized every aspect of my vacation and all we had to do was show up. They made me feel very prepared and safe to leave the country - I would recommend STS for any college spring break trip!

This company is a scam. Even during a global pandemic they will take your money. Book elsewhere or by yourselves through another resort. Paid $1600 and they re stealing 45 people plus on flight credit and hotel credit. Book yourself or through a different company. What a scam.

Scam 100%. I booked a trip with them last year, canceled it well in advance of the trip and well before COVID. I had travel insurance through them, so I should have received a refund up to two weeks after I canceled and its now been an entire year. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, wont answer emails, not able to give any answers over the phone.
