Strato's Greek Taverna Review

I'm very impressed with their service there. It's a bit pricey but the food is great. It's a beautiful place to check out and has an awesome setting.

Great food, very good service. Lovely venue with a dance floor and music. This place really comes alive late at night; we arrived for dinner at 9PM and the place was completely empty, but by 10PM the place was filling up and people were pouring in.

I stopped in for lunch this past week and found the food to be pretty good, although lunch menu is a bit confusing. The swap from fries to a greek salad is pricey for what you get. Service was remarkably slow.

NICE atmosphere and good music. There is food for purchase but I did not try it. The margarita slush is pre-made and the passion fruit additive is tasteless.

I did a takeout last night of meat lover gyro. The quality was very poor. It was cold, the pita was stale and the meat was old. There was no flavor and a very bad sauce on the side. HAD TO THROW THE WHOLE THING AWAY!

I love this place!! Authentic Greek food, amazing staff and amazing vibes! Love the belly dancing at night!! I adore their food, can t find a better gyro around! Fun for the family or a date night out!

Food was not bad, the service was awful. I had to ask for everything (silverware, napkins, etc.)

I gave it one because as soon as we walked in it was a group of five they tended to us but then as soon as the group of 10 showed up we were neglected the food is fine but the service was not good and I felt at management was not very helpful

I was disappointed in the menu. What we ordered was tasty, but some of what I consider traditional Mediterranean cuisine was missing, such as dolmas. The price, even for the lunch specials, was more than I expected. There was a Mexican section, which pleased the kids, but they didn't actually have their first choices in stock. The service and the atmosphere was ok.

Oddly enough the Greek burger is one of the best burgers ive ever had

I've had the gyro before and it was good but on our last trip there nothing was really good. The food tasted low quality and the food was really missing good flavor combination. Oh and it was def expensive for the quality of food. I would go back for happy hour, they had some great specials... and the belly dancing show was fun, but I would not go back for the food.

Hostest was very sweet and kind knew what she was doing. Waiter was always on check on our table. Always had a beautiful smile on her face and had a good vibe. Stratos is always a good place to go highly recommend it!!

The fried calamari was disgusting, tasted as if it was fried in old oil. The baked Feta appetizer was not very good either, way too salty. Sunday night was latin night and the music was okay.

I went here for the Halloween pre-bachata festival party and really easy liked it.

Maybe an off day, service was great...salad was decent. Umm gyro.... bland. Change meat purveyors? Doesn't TASTE the same "quality". Maybe time to put the"Greek" back in the kitchen. Didn't feel a bit of the old "passion" that used to season most every dish sooo well.

Just left this place. We were the only ones there. They took our order and we waited...and waited.. and waited. An hour later we left. No food. I won't be back.

Like the Moussaka as well as the Aphrodite's Chocolate Passion desert ( a must try)! The building is really neat looking and the service was excellent.

Stratos use to be a Greek restaurant, now it's a Mexican menu with a few Greek things. I love Mexican food. But when I go to a Greek restaurant I expect Greek food.

Stratos is Awesome!!!! Whenever I'm craving a gyro, Stratos is my ONLY goto. They are friendly , nice atmosphere and great food! On ghe weekend, they have belly dancers and dj. Lunch menu is available and always a decent crowd around then, but still timely service. Balaclava (sp?)... lol is a nice touch to finish the meal.

This place used to be nice! I had dinner here for New Year's and I have to say it wasn't a good experience. The waitress were busy decorating for the New Year Event. No chips and salsa were offered, we had to called the waitress and manager several times. I have to say the food had good taste, thats why I'm giving 3 stars. We ordered queso, chips and salsa to start well they brought all the food at the same time.(they took for ever) We ordered Menudo and those pieces of meat were huge. When we finished eating I mentioned to the manager and showed him the big pieces of meat he apologized and say he will talk to the cook, but he didn't seem to concern. I am not a big complainer and again the food taste was good, the music and the decoration. Later we went to the bar and bought a shot well it turned out to be the most expensive shot ever!! The food price is average, service is not good, a lot of waitress and bar tenders they all looked lost and busy and the restaurant wasn't that crowded at all. Honestly I don't think I will be back or recommend this place to anyone.

For me this place sets the bar for Greek food. I used to eat here when I lived in Dallas 12 years ago and it's still the BEST Greek cuisine I've had.

Best Greek food in the Metroplex! Gyros are to die for & they just added fried okra as a side & they do it perfectly!

I went with a large group of about 30 people. The belly dancing show was interesting. My meal was given to someone else and I was asked if I wanted the meal of the other person or the meal the other person had been eating on (who does that). My meal came when everyone else was finishing several people in my group said they should comp my meal they did not since it was a large group the tip was included (18%) in the bill, I had that removed since the courtesy of compensating for their error was not given I didn t feel that was service to be tipped. The order the fafalel with Greek salad which was good but I only had a couple of bites because it was time to leave to go to another venue. Others enjoyed their meal and the show.

Came for a graduation dinner. Staff was deacent, asked where the party group at, one guy said who knows? But a lady was way more helpful.
A little crowded but what you expect with a party of 20!

One of my fav places for tasty greek food. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. I will be back with my friends. This place has many reviews for a reason.

Excellent service delicious food and super atmosphere

A friend of mine introduced me to Greek food at this restaurant. She said it will be hard for me to find better food. She married into a Greek family and is a uber-foodie, so her opinion is good. I have tried several dishes and my favorite is the Chicken Lemonotta. Yum!

The food was full of flavor, very savory. Waiter was very tenative without being pushy. Love this place.

Fun hangout spot the booths are nice and comfy. Live music. The fried octopus appetizer is very tasty.

Its quality of food despite not having the specialty of Greek food as such is good but the attention of its innkeepers is pity a particular waitress I disrespect so I rate it with a star because it is not only the quality of food but the attention of its employees

I've been to many Greek restaurants in my life but this one here is one of the best I've ever been to. The food was delicious. The waitress was funny and knowledgeable. The lightning in the evening outside is superb. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend you to visit.

Nice place for Greek food, building outside and inside was pretty neat up to Greek theme. Variety of food, portions were great, except on fries. Didn't have the good ole Greek potatoes, they considered French fries with melted cheese on them as Greek potatoes. Coat almost $90 for 3 of us to eat lunch with appetizers and drinks, one was Marquita.

Very, very loud music. We could barely hear each other. And kinda creepy place...
As soon as we sat down the waiter came to ask for drinks - give us few minutes to decide what we want to drink maybe?!!!? Oh, and by default they spoke to us in Spanish.
The food took forever to come, more than 45 min, although all we had ordered was a gyro...

We really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The vibe is cool, and the decor is fascinating. I always enjoy the food as well. I discounted one star because the area around this location is kind of seedy. Other than that, love visiting when we can!

The best Greek food I've ever had and the staff was incredibly nice! I love this place and will definitely come back when I'm in Dallas!
