Strathcona County Library Review

It's the perfect library. Expert staff with a wealth of knowledge and who are always available to help. The coffee shop and table space nearby are a bonus.
Like many other facilities run by the County, the library is well managed and well led.

The library has a nice collection of books and videos which I appreciate. I had to take off a few stars because the children s area is so poorly designed and furnished. The central feature is a set of computers which become a magnet for kids to stand around mesmerized. There are so few opportunities for kids to interact and play together if they are older than about 18 months. For a good comparison, check out the Fish Creek branch in Calgary and the excellent interactive space they have for children. It has many different play stations and allows for kids of many ages to play and interact.

So pleased with the professionalism of all the staff, nice and trendy shelf classification, beautifully designed, the best part, Google didn't ask me to post a review, I had to find it in maps to do it. SCL Keep it up, you're the best. :)

My place of peace. Very quiet, good collection of books, magazines, latest movies. And staff always ready to help. Large underground parking lot with two hours free parking.

This is a great place to be able to go if you are wanting to have a place to think. We sat outside in the hallway and studied, and it was still a quite place. One thing I did like about the hallways were that they had paintings. The paintings were really cool! So yeah, this is a great place for you to find a quiet spot and think!

It's open again! This is the best library I've ever seen!

I needed a library card and the staff was courteous and friendly. I love the atmosphere. The parking is 2hrs free, which for me, is more than enough time. They have a great selection of books. There is a coffee shop with seating area and a ATM machine outside the library. Thanks.
