Always excellent service and usually a delicious fish of the day!

Staff was so quiet that they started talking to each other in groups on the terrace. Shell sandwich was personally a bit disappointing, very chewy and little chicken. You can also sit on the beach.

I thought I had to wait a long time before I was helped. Beautiful and new!

Acoustics were dreadful. Food was tasty. Operation okay.

We all had a wonderful meal here and afterwards we walked on the beach. The children can play outside well and have also had a nice children's menu. Really recommended !!!

Have to correct me - July 2018 service 5/5. Drinks were picked up quickly and served quickly - the quality of the food and prices have remained the same ... but now 3 stars

A nice place with a view on the North Sea. Cosy fireplace in the cold season. Good access via a large ramp directly from the parking. Food could be better, but for a beach pavilion it's good.

It is the ideal place to enjoy a quality lunch with good service on the beach. Everything is delicious, so it is a bit difficult to choose what to eat. They have traditional Dutch dishes and other options.

Yes, that is now a completely new beach pavilion "Nautilus aan zee". Beautiful case with level difference, you look partially at the cozy lounge and terrace.
Smooth and friendly service, bouncer (4 eggs at least) where you have to choose from extra to pay attachment ham, cheese or roast beef (in a bouncer should be ham as standard ???). Cappuccino had a somewhat larger cup with plm. 40% foam is too little for it
2.70 Personally, I find the price no objection for this ambiance.
In short 5 stars still well deserved.

Giga new beach pavilion with a beautiful appearance. Great food (with a free bread board due to a mistake in the kitchen) and rather well done "good. Can be used with a wheelchair (including the plumbing).

Very cozy and very romantic by the fireplace. Outside views of the sea and the beach and you are out of the wind. Dog friendly too. Had a clean bowl of water because our dog is quite picky and doesn't want to drink from other people's water bowl.

Modern architecture. Slow and inadequate service. Something as simple as sugar with tea is forgotten.

food was of course very tasty good taste so just right. I had the carpaccio as a starter and it was really tasty just a little too much sauce on, main dish was the lamb with forgotten vegetables. also that was very tasty little minus the meat was not cooked the same on all meat pieces. otherwise highly recommended we become a regular customer, we already know that

Unfortunately, the beer on tap was not sparkling. And the chicken nuggets for the youngest were not really tasty. The other food was delicious!

Very cozy, with a fireplace. Food and drink selection standard, but good. Reordered chips for the children's meal were not charged! Friendly, quick staff. Very friendly boss (I think at least). Our dog always got a slice of ham ;-)

Full 5 stars, it was super busy, no place free, and staff took time for the customers, remained helpful during the crowds, was also noticeable that there was a good atmosphere between the staff, very good food and very much enjoyed.

Location is great right on the beach with a great view of course.
Choice of drinks and food is plentiful. Staff friendly and very quick.
The food and the quality was less than satisfactory. The hamburger was a ready patty, the bun was dry, just didn't taste good.
Chicken with peanut sauce well ..... Salad looked like it was out of the can .....
Price performance therefore not satisfactory.

Very nice beach restaurant: great views, very comfortable atmosphere, nice service, everything was perfect. If we are in Egmond aan Zee, this beach restaurant is always worth a visit.

5 days holiday in Egmond and 3 evenings at De Schelp eaten .... 3 evenings great !! Fresh and good food ... fast service ... extremely friendly staff. 3 nights helped by Robijn ..... despite the crowds every evening and the warmth very much attention to the guest and always a smile on her face !! super friendly !! If we come to Egmond again ... and I know that for sure .... then restaurant De Schelp is our permanent place !!!

Like all beach pavilions cozy with a great view, price / performance are OK, the food is delicious. The waitresses are very friendly. It is possible as everywhere in Holland EC - card payment

This beach pavilion is truly the best in the area. I was there today with my old mother and were allowed to use their beach walker at no cost. The service is excellent and very friendly people. What a pleasure to spend my money here. 5 stars. Worth 10 to me

Excellent service, you get your food quickly.
But the spare ribs we had ... that was something bad. Can't describe what. Looked like fried or something else. But they were not tender. Like you had a fight with your spare rib. With a strange aftertaste. And everything else at the price.
