I've had both of my boys go here for almost a year. I loved the friendly staff and never had any issues. I thank my friend who refered me. This place doesn't compare to other daycares I've seen. It was worth the money spent for my children to be taken care of.
My son attends Star Montessori and every since we decied to move him here we have had zero issues. I absolutely adore his teachers Lupe, Sara, Mary Ellen And Alyssa. Knowing my son is well taken care of I am able to focus on my work. i am very thankful for Star Montessori . :)

My youngest daughter has been attending Star since she was in baby-room but left when she started elementary school. This summer both my daughters attended Star for their field trip program. They were in the gym and loved all four of the teachers. I never felt unsafe with my children riding in the buses, all the drivers have experience driving. They would come home speaking Spanish and French which is what they learned during circle time. We are out of the district so we are saddened that they cannot keep attending for their after school care but we will be back next summer and on school breaks. Thank you so much Star for everything.
My daughter has been here for the last year, since 18 months and she loves it. The teachers are all amazing, and they are always doing different activities, and working with the kids to excel acadmeically or socially. The classrooms are always clean and organized. I was recommended to this school by 6 different friends who also sent their kids their from 18 months to start of kinder, so it came highly regarded and has stood to that expectation.
I wish I would have found this facility sooner. I transferred my little one to this facility from Pearland in October 2017 due to moving and for her to be closer to my job. I was a nervous wreck initially due to my daughter going to her previous childcare facility for over 3 years. The material she learns here is unbelievable. I enjoy seeing my five year old coming home and doing math problems on her own and taking the initiative to spell. I wish they offered a facility from K-12, I would be the first to sign up. I have experienced nothing but positive outcomes from this facility.
I have been taking my grandchildren to Star Montessori since 2011 and Mrs Nasreen is one of the most incredible teachers I have met . Her love and dedication to the students is amazing. I am so grateful to her for giving my grandchildren a strong foundation.

Honestly, I feel like I'm one of the few people who's had a bad review of this place. But taking my 2 year old there, his teachers never tried to bond with him and he was miserable and wouldn't participate. Aside from that, since that could just be a child issue not a facility issue, when someone who wasnt me went to pick up my son (and the directors know who that I was my son's mom) they just let them walk all the way to the door nearly outside before saying "Bye -insert childs name- mommy!" and his aunt had to stop them and say "im not his mommy" and THEN did they say "oh! well come in the office we need to scan your ID" so it made me feel like just anyone could waltz in there and grab my child and leave. The other issue which was the final straw for me, was when the facility director HANDED ME A LIST and said "I went through your file and saw you worked here so i need you to buy these products from your work with your discount for another mommy". Like excuse me? That could get me fired and is incredibly NOT OKAY and I was not asked, I was TOLD to do it. So disrespectful and unprofessional. I pulled my son out immediately after that and put him somewhere else nearby where he flourished and opened up and all of a sudden loved going to school. What a surprise. No one took the time to pay attention to him or make him feel comfortable enough to trust anyone there (except his late afternoon teacher which he did love).

This Montessori has the perfect balance of environment, education, price, safety, activities, meals, and convenient location. Can t ask for more.
I had bounced my children around from daycare to daycare as I felt they did not receive the attention deserved. One of the key issues were the high turnover rates of the teachers and at that young age they grew attached and then would have to adjust at such a high rate it would mess with them. Star has highly tenured teachers who really care about each child as an individual and also a student, as they have a very strong curriculum. My children are excelling socially, academically, and emotionally. Meals are provided and the fees are amazingly affordable relative to most schools. Could not be happier and would recommend to all parents. This one is a no brainer.

I love star so much! My siblings have been there for 3 years and they love it. I volunteered 2 years ago for the summer and the teachers are so friendly. It s definitely a place where your kids are well taken care of and taught.
All of my 4 children have been at Star Montessori since 2001 and my 5th child is currently enrolled. All of my kids from the beginning have expressed a true love for learning and it's because of their amazing teachers and outstanding curriculum. My son has been attending Star Montessori School at this location since he was around one year of age. The rate at which he has learned most of his developmental skills has been exceedingly pleasing. The friendly staff has played an immense role in contributing to his overall education. The staff is more than respectful to the parents, and understanding in each individual's situation. Not only is my son learning developmental skills at a faster pace, but the underlying hidden curriculum that the teachers and staff portray has advanced his skills in interacting and socializing with other children, and adults, as well. The day care is most importantly a safe haven for children to come attend school, whether it is just for day care or after school care, and it is significantly evident that the children that attend this institution are thriving centered on the basic, sound foundation that the owners and staff have created. I did an immense amount of research pertaining to locating a great, reasonably priced daycare, and I am blessed to say that my son has had the remarkable opportunity to attend such a distinguished, educational school. I would recommend this school to any parents or single parents looking for a reasonably priced daycare with a great location and access to the many educational opportunities that this institution has to offer.

The staff is very attentive with any concerns we have. Ms. Jessica and Dennys are always greeting us with a smile. The new owner is also very nice. This is an excellent child care center /school in our area. My son attended Star Montessori three years ago and he is thriving in elementary school thanks to the excellent learning foundation provided by the professional staff. My 5 year old daughter attended this school year and we are very happy. She enjoyed learning and the overall environment. We had peace of mind knowing she was in great hands every day she was there.
The staff is friendly and professional. They are always happy to help you. Teachers are amazing! There is somebody always there to greet you and your child with a smile. I highly recommend this school!

Loving this daycare! My daughter started 9 months ago when she was 2.5 yrs old. She barely spoke English back then. But very soon, she is picking up English and she seems confident and happy! The teachers are very patient and professional! It worths the money!
If you want a positive learning environment where your child will get a head start for school then definitely enroll them into Star Montessori. My son was being watched by a babysitter up until he was 1.5 and she developed health problems that had me looking for a daycare quickly. Star was conveniently located close to my job at the time and after visiting other daycares this one I felt at peace with. We all want our babies to be safe and from the moment he started I knew the staff had his best interest at heart. My son excelled and learned so much. They prepared him for elementary and his Kindergarten teachers were amazed on how advanced he was in math concepts, letter recognition/sound , and reading. He is in 3rd grade now and he is still excelling and I know I owe a lot of that to Star Montessori. He attended a week of there summer camp and he loved it. After all these years they still remembered his favorite breakfast of eggs and toast with ketchup! I just wish they picked up at his school if not he would definitely be in their after school care.
In 2016 my oldest son started attending this school. His last teacher being MS.Theresa she taught him so much that when he started public school he was already advanced .My stepson attended this school as well with Ms.Cecily and he has been making A and B honor roll .last but not least my 2 yr old daughter is now in Ms.Michelle s room and I have seen a lot of progress in her learning . My 4 month old is in the infant room wit Ms. Marie Ellen ,Ms. Sarah , and Ms. Lupe and they take good care of him never had a complaint with any of my kids teachers. My wife and I are extremely grateful for the Star Montessori staff ...... Thank you

Ms. Shelby has been great she has a lot of patience is very kind and even got my little one potty trained in a matter of days. Mrs. Michelle is really sweet and very good with kids. Glad to have her teaching my son. These two teachers have a lot of passion for what they do.
No deal. I considered this place. The reviews and the replies to the reviews pretty much tells you everything you need to know about this place. This facility obviously lacks experience with children. Thanks to a few reviews I ll save myself the trouble. Kids are unique. Dismiss kids because of their disabilities and because they are active? How about hiring a better staff to work with all children. Hire a new person to reply to bad reviews and stop mentioning a child s name in replies. It isn t safe or professional.
My son has been at Star for over a month now. The first few day's were very difficult for him since it was the first time he was going to day care and didn't understand the concept of following the rules set by the staff. After many tears and outburst last Friday we had a FULL successful day and he stayed through his nap time and lunch. Normally, I pick him up prior to nap time because he is very active and was not following directions. But after working consistently with the staff and teachers for weeks now.. my son is understanding to follow directions and participates in classrooms activities. I greatly appreciate Star's patience and attitude in making sure my child continues to improve daily. Furthermost, I am grateful that they have openly communicated with me at all times and have reached out to me and we have worked as a team to make sure my child continues to learn along with the other kids in his classroom. I would highly recommend Star Montessori.
My child s time at star was wonderful, her transition from staying at home to attending school was not easy but the staff made it as smooth as can be for her. The office staff is helpful with any questions/concerns you may have. The school changed ownership a couple of months ago but it is only changing for the better with new improvements being made in/around the school( painting, carpets changed etc). My daughter was in the pre-k class with Ms. Ambren and learned so much from her class which has more than prepared her for elementary school. The paper work she was bringing home shocked our friends and family. Her afternoon teacher brought out her creative side by doing crafts and science projects with her. My daughter even learned Spanish from a class that was offered once she stopped napping. She attended the summer field trip program which she enjoyed because she loved riding in the star bus and going somewhere new everyday to make her summer before kindergarten enjoyable. I want to say thank you to all the staff for being more than amazing for my daughter during our time there, we will be back next summer.
I am extremely happy that I found Star, it's not easy trusting your children with just anybody. I knew from day one that my child was in great hands every time I dropped him off and picked him up, he had a big smile on his face. He's learned so much through out the year and it's all thanks to the wonderful teachers!!

My little girl has been here for almost three months and I could not say enough good things about this place. The teachers are so attentive, they make sure you are updated every day on how your child is doing, what they need, etc. They provide so much and my baby always has a smile on her face when I pick her up! Leaving your kid with just anybody is not an easy thing to do. My wife searched for the best school and daycare for our son, reading reviews and searching websites and thats how we found this place. Now I am a protective father distrusting of people but not at this school. They have done an amazing job of teaching and caring for our son while we are at work. It puts the mind and day at ease when you know your kid is in good hands when you cant be there and the staff is very professional and caring. Not to mention our son has learnd so much and made so many friends. I would highley recommend this school to anyone looking not just for excellent care and education but peace of mind to know your little tresure is being taken care of as if he or she were their own.
I had the opportunity to see the staff in action at a kid location. Kids will be kids and I understand they need to have fun but when you have 50 kids run loose with no one watching them except for 2 people. The staff sat and played on their phones while 2 were up and down watching. Four staff members sat in a group talking while kids ran crazy and bumped into each other. My son who is 3 was pushed down twice once hitting his nose on the floor. Other parents that were there were not happy the staff was sitting doing nothing. My kids go to daycare and if I saw this happen i would complain. What am i paying you for. So many daycares these days love using Montessori and show these kids how to act properly. Another thing they open daycares and hire unexperienced people. My mother in law owns a daycare for 35 years no state violations and fires people for something like this.
My niece attends here as a after schooler and she s always telling us how Ms. Briana is very kind is always helpful with homework and makes sure her reading is done for 20 minutes and signs with it saying daycare on it and times ! Awesome job Ms.Briana

Nasrin Khan has been the best teacher for my daughter. She has provided the structure and understanding my child needs to be successful during preschool. I am so thankful Star Montessori takes care of their teachers in order to retain quality staff.
I do not have one complaint against Star. I love this school and staff, but more importantly, so does my daughter. My daughter's teacher, Ms. Nazarrin is an awesome and dedicated teacher. My daughter speaks so highly of her and as a mother, I couldn't ask for more from a teacher. I knew Ms. Nazarrin when I went to this school over 20 years ago and she was just as wonderful then!
My son has been going to this school for the last 6 months and we are amazed by how much he has learned. At almost 2 yrs old, he knows the majority of the colors, he knows how to count 1-10 in English and Spanish. We are very happy with all of his teachers. Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Flor, Ms. Zoraida and Ms. Sara are exceptional. We really recommend this school, it is amazing!
My 2 year old son has been going here for a year now and we have had no issues! He loves it and loves how caring and sweet his teachers are I can t brag enough about how much Ms. Alejandr, Ms. Zoraida, Ms. Flo, and Ms. Sarama teach him, he is counting, knows his colors and the biggest plus in my book is he is learning his manners!!!! My son has been attending this daycare/school since end of January 2019. He was 18 months at the time of enrollment and like any other parent I was very concerned about putting him in daycare but believe me when I say that it was the best decision I've ever made for him! They are open from 6am-6pm which is super convenient, especially in the evenings when we are battling traffic. The staff is very respectful, professional, & understanding to the child's needs. The building is always clean both on the inside & outside and recently renovations were made and an infant room was added which is a plus for parents of different aged children because it is now a one stop shop! Both the previous owners & the new owner are very caring and are honestly concerned about the kids well being & safety. Overall I've had a great experience with the front office staff & the teachers. They keep me informed of all that my son is doing and most importantly he is learning! He comes home saying new words almost on a daily basis & the teachers actually teach the kids regardless of their ages. I recommend this daycare 100% and will definitely keep my son enrolled for as long as I can. Its a great facility!
Both of my kids have been attending this school for about 3.5 years and always loved it until the management change. Former owner was always on top of everything, knew all the kids by name which always made me feel comfortable. She also made sure the 2 girls in the front were checking on the kids during breakfast time, for example, so everything was organized.
Sadly that is not the case anymore, new owner is always inside the office (if he s there) on his phone, just like the 2 girls that used to be watching the kids during breakfast. Most of the time when i drop off my kids, office staff is nowhere to be seen, which make us working parents waste our time if we have a question or a comment. I really hope that they make changes soon or I d definitely be looking for a new day care. Went from being our school to just one more on the list.
My daughters are still enrolled here just because their teachers! I only have good things to say about them, but that s pretty much the only positive thing as of right now.
If you have an active child, this daycare is not where you want your kid to be at. They just did not want to deal with my child or try to help him understand why but wanted a quick solution with either medicating or threaten to ask us to leave. What made it even worse for a parent to hear, after all that, was that we were told our 3 YEAR OLD was CHILDISH and needed to GROW UP!

My children are currently attending the Star Montessori school for about 2 years now. I ve noticed that they are learning what they need to, at a much higher rate than the public schools.
I wanted to thank my son s teacher, Mrs. Nassarin, for the phenomenal lessons she is teaching him. Though Mrs. Nassarin may not be getting the recognition that she deserves, I wanted to show my thanks here.
Overall the entire staff and teachers have been the best for my children, and I hope they continue on focusing their lessons to expand children s minds beyond the school curriculums.
My son has been going to this school since he was 18 months and he is 3 years old now. From the first day he loved going to this school. He has not once cried or said he did not want to go but instead he was excited to go to school. When my son was having adjustment issues when he was transferred to a new class the staff and teachers worked with me to come up with plans to help him get adjusted.The school and staff is absolutely amazing. They truly care about the kids there. My son is learning so much he knows his colors, numbers, and reconizes all types of animals ,and things. I highly recommend Star Montessori for any parent who wants a safe, reliable, loving ,caring learning environment for their children.

My son started Star a year and half ago and I am so happy I moved him there. I could see a difference in him when we switched schools. Everyone that works there is amazing. My son had Ms. Connie and Ms. Ashley and they were awesome with him. Kept me updated on his progress and that s something I wanted and I am grateful for them to have done. Every time he would leave their class for the day he was in a good mood. He moved classes but he still talks about Connie and Ashley when he s playing at home and that shows me how much they took care and treated my son. Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough about this school! They are awesome! I've been taking my boys there for over 5 years. My children have loved it. They get the education and nurturing they need. The strict teaching is a plus and all of the teachers are so sweet and very experienced. They offer a hot breakfast and even teach the children table manners. Both of my boys were taught their state presidents at age two years by Ms. Mary Moffet. She is amazing! All of the teachers are amazing. The directors pay attention to all of the children and parents. They run a tight ship and I do feel why the school is so successful! I was referred by a close friend several years ago and have continued to refer numerous friends and families to Star. I absolutely love love love this school and would recommend it to anyone who wants your child to be a smart well behaved child!
My son has been in Michelle s 4yr old class for almost a year and absolutely loves it. He s constantly learning new things and is excited to come here every day! I m very happy with the level of care and attention he is receiving at this school.
So i will start off by saying this is a great school especially for the price. There are kinks that have occurred lately. First off the ownership and management has changed and the school doesn't communicate or seem as managed as it once was. We have used this place for 4 years and two children now and can see a notable difference. Many of the past teachers have left, they still do not have a online payment portal, and the lack of teacher parent communication has been stressful. Something as simple as Bright wheel could fix the communication issues. In the past the owner was there at least once per day. Just not the same place it once was, in saying that this is still a very good Montessori and we will continue to use it until a better option present itself.
I really love this school. My daughter is 4 years old and she knows how to spell her colors, days of the week, and she is learning sight words now. She knows the months, she learned a little song with all of the 7 continents, and she can work math problems such as 55-42, and 67+10. The price is very reasonable, even less than most daycares and these children are learning a lot! The one thing I wish would be incorporated would be a second language. Tried as I have, I have not learned Spanish and I would really like my daughter to learn it at an early age. However, I can really only fault myself for that.
Star Montessori is absolutely the best school to send your children!!!! Ms Connie is my daughter's teacher and she has done so so well with her. I have no complaints at all. All the staff and the owners are wonderful!!!!!

Both of my kids have been attending Star Montessori, for a little over two years and I have to say, I am very blessed to have found this place. I was so worried at the beginning of this daycare journey, to start my kids in daycare after being a stay at home mom. I was nervous on how strangers would take care of my kids and if the teachers would really know what my kids needed to have a good day.
I have to say, Star has far exceeded my expectations. Till this day everyone is so kind and caring. Everyone knows my children and cares for them very much. The one thing that makes Star so special, is their teachers and great staff!
My Son started with Ms. Ireri, and till this day, my son gets excited to see her. She is such an amazing teacher. She cared so much for my son and was always informed me of how his day went. I always left happy knowing my son had a great teacher at daycare. My son learned a lot and he became more social after Ms. Ireri s class. She made our daycare experience a very positive one.
My son has now moved to another class, were both of his teachers are amazing! Ms. Ambreen is his morning teacher, she has taught my son so much, more than I could ever imagined. I am always impressed to see my son s paperwork! He has learned so much and I m confident he will do great once he goes to school. Ms. Leila is his afternoon teacher and the projects my son comes home with are so great! My son is always so proud to show off his projects!
Now, it s the same story for my daughter s teachers. She has had amazing teachers too in her time at Star! Right now, she is with Ms. Mary and I can t rave enough about Ms. Mary. Her students are well behaved, they all learn so much and my daughters loves going to her class every day! Ms. Mary, keeps me informed on how my daughter s day went, how she napped or ate, or if she was a little tired etc. All that communication is so helpful, and I appreciate the time Ms. Mary takes to tell me about my daughters day.
Overall, Star Montessori and Daycare is a great place for any one looking for a good, positive place to take their kids!
Our child has been attending Star Montessori over a year and we highly recommend to parents looking for a safe, professional, and educational school and day care. The office staff respond promptly to questions and concerns as well as communicate effectively during weather conditions, school closures, and holidays. Kitchen staff are friendly and there is a great variety of meals and snacks. Teachers in baby room Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Zoriada, and Ms. Sara are caring and have helped our little one learn colors, songs, and shapes. Teachers Ms. Mary, Ms. Lizzy, Ms. Connie, Ms. Dulce have been instrumental in the development of teaching our child letters, numbers, story time, coloring, and potty training.
I was told on multiple days that my child was behaving aggressively towards staff and students. which is very uncharacteristic for my child. so I decided to watch this behavior on the camera system. where I discovered that my child was being mistreated by one the staff members. the owner did not fire her. stating that she has worked there for " over 5 yrs" he suspended her for a week claiming " this is her first complaint". this was not a complaint this was video evidence that she is aggressive towards children. I do not feel that they handled this situation appropriately. i have removed my children and will not ever return.
My daughter is 2 years old, she has been attending to Star Montessori for more than 6 months. We have been blessed to find lovely teachers to take care of her. Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Zoraida, Ms. Flor and Ms. Sarama are the best!!!
We are so impressed with the Star Montessori and recommend it to anyone who is looking to make sure their child is well taken care of and also wants their child to be the TOP OF THEIR CLASS in the future. I am so happy that we made the decision to enroll all 4 of our children here and watch them excel in school the way they have. We love all of the teachers there! BIG SHOUT OUT to Ms Zorida, Ms. Lupe, Ms.Sarama, Ms. Mary, Ms. Ambreen, Ms.Nisreen, and Ms. Huma for making sure the kids get the BEST education to prepare them to be in the gifted and talented program at school. I made sure to leave my kids in the school through the kindergarten program with Ms. Huma, because I wanted to make sure they were reading chapter books before they started school. I Also wanted them to be advanced in math. Of All the teachers my kids have had in public school, there has been NO ONE that has more passion in making sure they learn like Ms.Huma. Public school progress is a lot slower and not as involved as Star. There were some kids in my daughter's first grade class that were incredibly behind....and they always stay behind (now, my oldest is in all honor classes in high school). It's really sad, because those other kids are probably smart kids, they just never had the right teachers to help them advance.
It takes a lot of patience to teach young children and I am so thankful that the teachers above, along with all of the other teachers at the school express that patience every single day. Thank you for all the love, Star! Thanks for helping me set my kids up for success!!!
my son was going to Star Montessori for a few months he does happen to have febrile seizures, after the fact I told them that he only gets them when he runs high fevers the owner told me to get a letter from his doc stating he can go back & I did... Then told me to get another letter stating he's clear to go bck because of his seizures and I did, they still won't let him go back so all in all then the owner told me you just need to find another daycare that will deal with that
My daughter has been attending Star going on a year this August . She adores her teacher Ms. Sandra and the staff!! I can't praise them enough for the genuine care and safety they give. I have referred a couple of my family members there because I have so much trust in the care they provide. Before this school I went through a few daycares that I would worry constantly while I was at work. My daughter was at home the first 3 years and it was a rough transition for her. But a month or two in, I noticed a complete change from her. She definitely has become more independent and learning things faster than I expected. But most importantly she no longer fears me leaving her for the day. Thank you Star for all you have done and giving me so much peace of mind. There's truly no better feeling than knowing your child feels safe and happy at school!
Our Son loved his time at this school, he was there for about 2 years before going to kidergarden. He placed high in his new schools testing and I think going to Star has placed him at an advantage. The school is secure and ran professionally.
