Station Casino - Kansas City Review

Love this place, if you want to eat,play or just for a walk, this is where you want to go, I recomend the buffet, great food, excellent service.

The casino has a lot of different slots but they don't pay out. Their player rewards suck. I lost $200 and didn't earn any cash back. The hotel was extremely over priced it didn't have a shuttle service no swimming pool. Only thing it did have was a refrigerator. The cable only had like 20 channels but we couldn't get the stupid map of the property off the screen if we did want to watch it. I've started at ten different casinos the past month and this was by far the worst.

Quick bite at Burger King, then off to see Rodney Carrington, then finally on to the boat. Had a great time, employees were very polite and helpful and we had fun.

Went to the Thanksgiving buffet and it was just ok. Seems to be getting more basic every year. Nothing spectacular, but it fed a 10 person group and everyone left full.

Had a great time, dealers are nice. Definitely appreciate them having a few $5 black jack tables on a Friday night.

I d rather be local near home. Long drive, expensive and rude people. I ll stick with my folk..but did win money do I ll give some stars!

We went to a movie at the regal 18 at Ameristar. Theater was pretty old, but seats were comfortable and the popcorn was fresh!

Nothing spectacular as far as casinos go. Just meh. I like Argosy better

Spacious. Employees seen cleaning and sanitizing constantly, as people get up and machines/chairs. Easy access and no one stopped you to check ID's or sell you packages.

The movie theater is great. It's always easy to get in with fast lines.

Arcade was old, dirty and lots of broken games. An employee watched us play a game for a while then told us the ticket dispenser was broken. Crab leg buffet was great though.

Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. Afterwards, we went to play the penny slots at the casino. The atmosphere is very nice and decently clean. There was a bit of a smokey cigarette smell in the casino area as you are allowed to smoke in there - I personally did not like it because I'm a non-smoker with allergies,

Great buffet, movie theater, & entertainment for the whole family.

Thisvplace has it all from restaurants to gambling to contribute or win some money!

Miss the BOGO buffet. We go elsewhere for free buffets. Love Ameristar but we go for the best deals for us old folks.

Not a modern as I remember. But the lady watching the entrance was wonderful.

Just visited the brewery, was ok, but not something or someplace I will seek out

The server I had was kinda rude and the buffet was kinda lacking in fresh food I did go close to the last hour but it just seemed better before

Played Blackjack for a few hours. Kind of a beginner but had fun.

The Buffet was overpriced and not all food was kept hot. Some foods were very bland.

I liked the casino better than Harrah's... Delicious dinner buffet...

I was at the movie theater. It was not even busy at all for big movies like Star Wars.

The staff was very nice and the room had everything that was expected. We did have an issue with the air conditioner in our room, but they came right up and fixed it. My only complaint would be that the drain in the bathtub didn't work well. Not a big deal, just a little annoying.

Lots of great food options, especially the Horizons buffet. Fun games, good non smoking area. Of course, gambling is always a rip off, so I don't recommend it. We only go one every couple of years, only good in moderation.

Its so quiet in there, atmosphere has changed. Don't hear the excitement of the bells and sounds that used to be in casinos..

Loved the all you can eat crab legs!! The desserts are great!

We went to watch Scotty Mccreery. Enjoyed the space, lighting, and security.

Ameristar has always been a lot of fun. Went there to eat at the huge buffet. It was crab leg night so prices were high and I personally wasnt fond of the crab legs. The rest of my family ate them up. Always love the rest of the buffet. The BBQ section is always good.

I don't dislike it I think it's great good parking friendly folks always seems to be adding events and entertainment stuff

We went for the buffet on a Saturday, as we were visiting family at the nearby North KC Hospital. The food was ok, lots to choose from. Many people were all over the crab legs, while I was thrilled about the berry selection for salads and all the desserts. The people were friendly and the staff was great. The price? At $40 a person I was a bit shocked. It wasn't a $40 experience. The bathrooms were...what you would expect at a Casino. They were pretty nasty, and we had to leave the restaurant to find them. The restaurants don't have bathrooms.

Absolutely Love! Clean and well maintenance. New games all the time, and well worth it to go.

Parking is great. Plenty of new machines. Large game floor, so don't feel cramped. Great buffet as well.

Clean, nice environment plenty of games to have a night full of fun.

It's was okay machines were a little tight but overall had fun lots of machines to choose from and had lots of machines I like to play.

We have been here to many times and I never get anything free and I never seen anyone win big max $500.00 rooms not worth what they want but that's why we go to the other casino when we come here

I've been coming to AMERISTAR for 9 years religiously. I have played high limit poker most every time. A lot of roulette as well. Tonight in the high limit room I was told I couldn't watch a game without playing. LUDACRIS! I want to watch a table before I throw $500 minimum bet at it! Extremely rude. I've played that table 100 times. Today is the last day I'll be back.

Slow and other people were complaining about it. Tight machines.

I always have an amazing time when I'm there, dealers are nice, food in the casino is amazing and almost always fresh, and the wait staff is very on-point and very helpful! I will always bypass the closer places to come here.

Fun place, friendly and helpful staff, and lots of parking.

Very nice. Casino and hotel were great and fancy. Didnt have a chance to eat at their location.
