I witnessed an officer by the name of Burke abusing her power. Totally unprofessional.
Most the officer are understanding , just do what your supposed to do and become a good person , our past is a lesson not a life sentence
I hate this place they made a living nightmare for me, abusing the power they have and treating me like i was nothing but a mere bother ! I would cry sometimes leaving this place because of all the questions they would ask me insinuating i was a criminal, when i was really there for something extremely stupid these officers are mean rude and inconciderate of one self .
I never thought i would ever say something positive about being on parole my parole officer was totally awesome you made an awesome difference in my life thanks a lot bro
I have to admit I was a little nervous when I got probation because I had been on probation before in another state and I was very lucky to get probation, so I wasn't sure how they would treat me but so far I've had nothing but good experiences. All the probation officers have treated me with respect and fairness. I particulary like Seargent Campbell and Officer Reinert. I have nothing but good things to say and to anybody else who is on probation, as long as you do what the judge ordered, pee clean, and show up to report you won't have any problems with these people. They are good officers and they are doing their jobs well, and if you treat them with respect and be honest with them, they will treat you with respect in return. That has been my experience.
Being in the law field , coming here to drop off and sit as support . Your staff need better training and I m ashamed to even say I m currently in this field . Pathetic today at 11:00 your security and lady officer are pathetic I don t understand how that badge stays on .!
All I can say is. Don't call them for any information. I was calling on behalf of my mother who is in prison. The woman that answered was absolutely awful and rude. It is Wednesday October 23 3:34pm and whomever I spoke to that was working at this time was the absolute worst. I am completely new to all this and just needed to be guided to the right phone number to submit an address for my mother to serve her house arrest. This was the number that she told me to call. The woman sounded extremely irritated, hurried me, gave me an attitude and THEN proceeded to give me a different number. Even then I still respected her and politely said thank you. I truly wish I hadn't.
I was VERY nervous to be on probation but between Officer Campbell and my P.O. Bellow it's actually not that bad. He treats me like an actual human being making me less nervous to come to my monthly visit & I've NEVER been left waiting to see him. All he wants me to do is what I'm supposed to. I have no problem complying because let's face it, NOTHING is worth my freedom
The employees here treat you like you are still a criminal and act like you are still living the same kind of life you were before you were locked up. They do not like to give you a chance to prove that you have changed, it seems like they would rather assume you are the same as before instead of giving you a chance or helping you find a different way of living.
Nicer building, but located in the ghetto and some of the clientele you have to sit with aint the best. On probation for misdemeanor. Was charged in another state and transfered back here where I was living. Broke out of a 5 yr relationship and starter the dating scene online. (Now happily married ) Had cops knock on my door and told me somebody I meet lied about their age and was under 18 6 months prior and as an adult it s your responsibility to check their ID. After being a victim of a crime like this it s hard and mess with your head and it s even worse that u get punshed with it after you re the victim, but My PO here is amazing and understands the whole situation. They ll give u numbers to psychiatrist to help u get over your trama. We own our own business and the PO s here put your job first and try everything they can to not interfere with it as we work 7 days a week.
I feel like this place has ZERO consideration for people who come on time if not earlier than their scheduled time. People have lives outside of this place and they waste people's time. Like the POs expect their parolee to be on time just so they can wait around for 3 hours what a joke. This system is screwed and they need to get their priorities straight! ! How can they expect people to do what they need to do when they're sitting in here for 3 hours only to be seen for 5 minutes.
I had a positive experience under the supervision of Probation Officer Pascalau. She is an awesome person who cares and is fair! She genuinely wants to help you grow and better yourself! Thank you Officer Pascalau!
My probation officer is Sergeant Clifton who has been great with me even though there ended up being an issue with interstate compact. I feel fortunate that I was placed under him as my probation officer. If you are doing what your supposed to be doing and not doing things to get you into trouble you won't have any problems. It's really that easy..
Thanks certain Clifton
If you ever find yourself here... well you messed up. The Probation Officers are not bad but the Office Staff is terrible. Not only do they treat everyone who walks in like dirt, but they think very highly of themselves and talk down to you. The wait times are also long, if you have an appointment at 2pm for example, be prepared to come in at 1:30 and possibly wait until 3pm or longer before you get seen.
The Office staff is also terribly strict when it comes to dress code. They will get on you about any little thing to make thier fat, office sitting selves feel better.
I have had nothing but positive interactions with this department. My fiancee is the one heading out on parole. Things have been slow moving only because of unpredictable circumstances. But the department and their administrative staff( goes all the way to carson city) have been understanding and more patient than they had to be. I feel good about maintaining in comnunication for anything that might ever be a concern. Apprehensive no more, im very impressed.
We have had good experience with all whom work here thank you .
I have been on probation for about a year now and have had about 4 different probation officers, and every one of them has treated me respectfully. Seargent Campell has done 2 home checks and he is one of the best ones I've dealt with. Officer Reinert was my first PO, he was my absolute favorite. I have had nothing but positive experiences with probation, and I have nothing but good things to say.
Since the summer time has come, I NOW KNOW that Males can't wear tank tops to see probation officer. So from now on, short sleeved shirt.
Nice place, quiet and respectful. Our wait was extended but fruitful. Much of our time was not wasted once seen. I would give everyone a break here. It's a difficult job over time for all concerned.
Show empathy here.
Clean and orderly place that you will always feel safe. Plenty of signs to lead you in the right direction.
If you forget something the front desk is often able to help you figure it out. Most officers actually answer the phone in the middle of the day. Pay your fees show up on time and you don't normally get hassled.
I had an amazing life changing experience on probation I was blessed to officer tr Johnson and officer Pascalau during my probation. All they wanted was for me to succeed and I made myself and them proud to complete early and change my life completely. Im so appreciative of all the help and I wont be back!
My Hubbie was a convicted felon as of 2006 and i was pregnant with our baby. I wasnt sure how the next 5 years of our life w going to be but to my surprise I have nothing bad to say! If you do your counseling or in hubbies case 1 1/2yrs of drug court-->MY PROUD GRADUATE ;) AND do everything your PO says to do and what the judge asks too (if possible because even one of the Po's agreed the Judge asked something Unattainable from him-->like going to the eastcoast to settle a warrent that is 20yrs old but would have to be arrested and 99% chance of going to prision when that state doesnt pick up people for stuff like that this far away NO WAY we got a Son here that needs us) OH and dont drink or do drugs and your pretty much in the clear. My Love has been on UN-supervised probabtion for almost a year because of 4 1/2 YEARS of doing the right thing and being a good citizen and awesome familyman! He's Due to expire soon so a little tip to all of you Lucky people that avoided prison because of the mercy of the judge....DO WHAT YOUR SUPPOSE TO DO TO BE A DESCENT MEMBER OF SOCIETY NOT A FESTERING BOIL IN THE CREASE OF THE COMMUNITY'S ARMPIT--->GROW-UP!
I love this place! It smells like roses and staff is great!
