Tip for the hi-fi enthusiast, really beautiful listening castle. With good advice from very friendly staff who know hi-fi and they could also help me with questions about acoustics. They took all the time for me and even got an extensive tour. I came for active KEF book speakers, which were a bit disappointing, went home with floor stands from Triangle with a very natural sound. They also sound good at home!
Stassen is unique in the Benelux, that must be cherished!

They have a lot of listening rooms where you yourself can select the different types of music to play on the systems or speakers of interest. No rush or pressure, they really want you to take the time to come to the right selection while enjoying a coffee and a piece of cake. In all rest you can listen to the differences and find your personal taste.

I have bought a nice set of speakers (Focal 926) and came back later for a matching center speaker (Focal 906). When the wrong type of finish was delivered for the center speaker by the supplier, they even lent me the supplied wrong one, which I was allowed to exchange for the correct one when it finally came in. Thus I could already enjoy the sound until the correct one was delivered. What a service!

I have my set now for more then a year and everyday still enjoy the great sound.

Wanted to buy a new Rotel preamp and power amplifier so with a nice discount ordered by phone with great help from Richard.
In the first instance it would be delivered first (region of Rotterdam) but eventually within the framework of personal contact these articles plus a set of XLR cables themselves picked up in Tegelen.
What a beautiful building with its own parking lot. Upon arrival, warmly welcomed with coffee and the famous Limburg pie, toppie da`s come in again.
After the coffee I was invited to look around, where for me audio seemed like a kind of substitute shame when I saw all those high-end equipment that was far above my budget. But to be honest, you don't get to see a complete wooden turntable every day to name a few and all those other beautiful equipment. I enjoyed it quietly though.
Subsequently, Tim helped me well with my lay questionnaire and I returned home satisfied with my order.
This is the place to be for real audiophiles, unprecedented what a range.
Consider purchasing a Rotel CD player at a later date and will certainly not miss Stassen. (and also not the coffee with pie ;-))

Just bought a Hegel H360 online: must try to keep ML Odyssey's in control: (1 Ohm at 20kHz), but no pains !! !! Hegel can handle almost every speaker now. Got good advice about the amplifier (from Tim): very nice price!

Very happy with the repair of our subwoofer. Works like new again!

Visit this store for more than 25 years. I have made several purchases including a set of B&W floor standing speakers. Advisors feel the customer very well what they want. At least with me. As soon as I visit the store, I can listen and compare in peace WITHOUT any explanation while enjoying a nice piece of cake and a cup of tea. Winkel also offers the possibility to bring and compare your own equipment.

Stassen also organizes various listening shows that are worth visiting.

Given the many good reviews, there are of course always a few that are less good. Stassen also responds nicely to this in order to provide the customer with a good service. Reason enough to visit this store every time .......

Wonderful case for the HiFi enthusiast. This large "villa" houses various listening rooms filled with audio toys, ranging from the famous names to the more exotic stuff.

Unfortunately I am at the lower limit of what people are selling here and that is also noticeable. We almost had the feeling that they were looking at us since we were under 1000 euros with what we had spent.

On the other hand, emails are answered nicely and we were left alone in the beginning as we walked through the case.

Great shop, delivered quickly and available for questions. A problem with a speaker after delivery, but also quickly and properly resolved.

Today we had an extensive listening session and guided tour at Stassen Hifi. We were helped by Bob, a very friendly, humble and helpful employee. Rarely have I experienced such customer-friendliness.

After a few weeks, still real every day! happy with our purchase at the fantastic Stassen. What great people and service. Years ago we bought Phonar EdMa speakers, found entirely by ear. The experience was a lot of fun, with our visit to the listening castle and enthusiastic conversations and stories. Now we wanted to do something with streaming from Qobuz or Tidal and arrange that we could also listen to music in another room. Our previous experience, after hanging around on the internet, actually brought us straight back to Stassen, where Bob and Ed were very helpful during our again impressive visit. We spoke to Bob several times by telephone to arrange additional matters, and even then we always had advice and information tailored to our wishes and budget. What we are so impressed with now is our pleasure to listen to the EdMas and new Triangle's through Advance Paris amplifiers. We even have a sports attic where our old amplifier has been supplemented with a Bluesound streamer. Not unimportant, the recommended cabling greatly increased our listening pleasure and now we are really happy with our sound every day :-) We would report back to Stassen immediately for any new wishes. What a business and what a service!

I was at Stassen in Holland two days in a row. First I bought the NAD C388 amplifier. Then Stassen made me a great offer for Triangle Delta that I had to pick up the boxes directly on Saturday.
The team is super friendly, rarely experienced such a good and friendly service !!!!

As a Belgian, you may not want to admit it so badly, but it's hard to ignore it: a prospective buyer of hi-fi material is actually better off in the Netherlands. Because the Dutch approach is generally much more customer-friendly. This customer-oriented approach is certainly a characteristic of HiFi Stassen. It is best to make an appointment because then coffee is ready and also an employee who thinks along and searches along until the customer is satisfied. The range is therefore so wide that there is something for everyone to choose from. And if you later have some sort of problem, you can still appeal to them, they will keep on thinking. So for me Stassen is highly recommended.

Helped very professionally and friendly, they take the time for you and good service and prices. Very nice listening rooms, in short .... it couldn't be better !! Top case !! Definitely worth a visit!

If there is an audio store that takes the time for you then the stassen is, listened several times a whole day and thanks to the professional advice and the really infinite patience of the people there, now really very satisfied. In addition, you always get a nice price.

Yesterday we visited the Stassen listening castle. Emailed in advance with Florian and made an appointment. After a good explanation from Bob and also after listening (in the cinema of theirs, that is of course different from home) the REL HT1205 subwoofer was purchased. Bob clearly explains why you should or should not buy something, this actually meant that I did not purchase a new amplifier yet. The subwoofer was not in stock but on the way from the importer to them. A day later it was delivered to my home.
The communication in advance by e-mail (miscellaneous) was quick and perfect, the delivery agreement was also entirely in accordance with the agreement. You will be received in a friendly manner and there is sufficient time for you. Making an appointment or going in the morning will certainly play a role.

Neatly advised and assisted by Tim with the purchase of a set of Kef R3 speakers. After a (excellent) cappuccino I had a tour of the castle. What a beautiful building and location. I am very satisfied and will definitely be back!

A must for the enthusiast. Really a beautiful location where you will be welcomed with open arms, good coffee and Limburg pie. Made a listening appointment in advance so that we had plenty of time to listen. Tim helped us further to the listening room and told very kindly and quietly how it all worked. He left the room and just let us go our way, relax and bring a cup of coffee in between. After the listening session I made a first (striking) choice and from there took the big brother. The choice ultimately fell on that (Triangle) and then had advice about amplifiers and CD (network) player. Being able to purchase a beautiful set due to his knowledge and experience. In between I also had contact with Tim regarding the delivery and helped with connection. Everything beyond expectations, I cannot imagine a better case in this already high area than Stassen HiFi and Tim. Thank you for everything on behalf of a very very very satisfied enthusiast. Last week we bought an almost new set of KEF LS50W for a nice price and with full warranty at Stassen. Because I live in the far north of Friesland, I was appointed to the mail. This contact with Stassen was very pleasant and smooth. The shipment went via Postnl, and the set was as new. Wonderful to suddenly have such a tidy wardrobe, and the speakers look w.m.b. gorgeous.
The widely praising reviews have not lied: these active speakers give a great, spacious and very detailed sound. The middle area makes voices sparkle. The big bonus is the optical input on the KEFs, so that for the first time in my life I have a fantastic music experience via my smart TV. As an ex High End user, the KEF LS50W is an absolute must!

Top case, with very extensive range, knowledgeable staff and very friendly approach, nothing is too much.

After having enjoyed listening to my Hepta Exception speakers for 18 years, I thought I was ready for a new set of column speakers. I was in contact with various parties, Stassen Hifi was the only one who asked which amplifier I had, what type of music I was playing and personally called me. This immediately generated confidence and I made a listening appointment, passing on my preferences in terms of brand and types and budget (approx. 1000).

When we first arrived there, coffee and cake were ready and we were given a tour. All speakers were "blind" connected to get the most objective experience possible ... and I can tell you, this really works! As a reference, I had the Wharfedale Diamon 250 added to it, but it immediately fell heavily in my basket ... My preference for Q Acoustics was immediately gone and I kept switching between Focal and Dali.

After some doubt made a new appointment and brought my own speakers for comparison with the Focals and Dalis. My god, I have listened to them for years. With all due respect to the Heptas, but these faded completely at the Focal and Dali. Eventually opted for the Focals, in particular because of: spread, openness, finish and price. If you have a larger space and want just a little more and warmer low, you can reach the Dali perfectly. I'm very curious how it sounds at home :-)

Great deal. Friendly, competent staff with a lot of time drag each speaker / amplifier from left to right and then bring you something to drink. Gigantic selection. You are never pushed to buy, you can come hear it for hours and you will be given further advice even after the purchase. In terms of choice, expertise, friendliness and ultimately absolutely unrivaled in terms of price.

I have been to Stassen Hifi to buy a new pair of speakers and the team from Stassen was extremely helpfull (Bob , Edwin ,Tim, Mr. Stassen him self and of course Mr. Arthur from the bar ) , I have been busy for about 3 months to buy the speakers that I have bought now.
I have got a few models at home to test but the final decision that I made was because of the great service from Stassen , the patience that they have got with me is really superb and this is what I call ''SERVICE''
I have bought the Phonar P9 EDMA and it is a fantastic pair of speakers , also Edwin himself is a fantastic guy , verry passionated .

Everybody should go to the fantastic music castle in Tegelen (Venlo) its a real theme park for adults.

I have visit a lot of famous stores before I went to Stassen Hifi but a lot of this stores can learn from Stassen how to threat your customers,and not only try to sell speakers no matter what you buy.

After a short walk from the station I arrived expectantly at the Palazzo. First of all a hospitable welcome, just the delicious Flan and coffee made the trip good. After this a guided tour through the beautiful building with so many beautiful things in Hi-Fi area, all this arranged in many halls. In a room prepared for me I could listen to 10 speaker combinations, including the two that I had asked for. After this, listening began. This was a wonderful experience. Not only because there are so many differences between the speakers, but also because the speakers that I had in mind also jumped out so nicely. It eventually became the Triangle Comete, a beautiful sounding bookshelf speaker and an absolute must for auditions. Meanwhile they are practically played at home and it is true to enjoy the music reproduction. Thanks to Stassen employees for all service and reception!

This hi-fi store has the time for its customers. Went there by appointment to listen to Focal Aria 948 and to pick up an ordered surround processor. The salesman there was very knowledgeable and said listen to the other speakers. You may find another one sounds better or nicer. In short, we did not take the Focals but a different brand. This only because of the time that is put into you. 5 stars is not enough, a 10 with a pencil is better !!

And price-wise it is also very competitive. In short, a must!

I found the show impressive and enlightening!
I have owned all the new parts of the 700 series and that gentleman from B & W also told me more than I knew from the internet of 700 series. Cool. And at the end of that morning the 800 D3 was heard with Audio Analogue before and end amplification. Jaaaa, that is financially completely out of my reach! It was in one word: FANTASTIC!

I have been a customer of Stassen for many years now and my experience is that I have always received excellent help and good advice. The service after a purchase is also excellent and Tim and Marcel in particular have always helped me a lot. Recently something was wrong with one of my speakers and I was immediately given another unit to test after which the problem was solved. Stassen very favorable with its price. Very correctly advised by Richard vd Klij. However, due to family circumstances it was impossible for me to travel from Nrd-west Netherlands to Limburg, and colleague Niels suggested sending the set free of charge. What fantastic empathy, top class product, top class service!

After years of experiencing the popular brands and having visited the well-known stores in Amsterdam, finally looked around Stassen online. Ordered a set of KEFs online, but not my taste. Had a lot of contact with Bob by phone to exchange, that we may have to try Triangle. Finally decided to do the Amsterdam-Tegelen ride. Bob had already set up 1 listening room for me with speakers. After coffee I got a tour of the listening castle. In the meantime, Bob was already analytically trying to determine what my taste is. After an extensive listening session (Triangle, Q, B&W 800D3, Audio Note, etc etc, Bob's conclusion was, for critical ears, for people who can no longer make do with the usual brands, where the other brands fall short; The Phonar Veritas EdMa + Advance Paris! I totally did not expect that I would choose this. EdMa, for Edwin Maas, just put together top speakers. Bob listens with you, tries to understand you, but also corrects your expectations (on the long-term Triangle fatigue tweeter), and advises you well about which speaker ticks all the boxes in the long term! In the 3 hours, Bob brought in a lot of speakers, carried, explained, listened, Bob has so much patience, applause As Bob also says, if you have to believe the magazines and reviews, all speakers are great, but you will have to hear for yourself what you like and that the gentlemen of Stassen have their own product that stands out above everything else, Brav O! The gentlemen were very flexible, Bob, Edwin (took the time to explain), the expedition, these are not the standard store sales staff. At Stassen, service is really a priority, and you just experience it. You just become happy when you buy something at Stassen.

If you come from NRW and need hi-fi equipment, you should go. The show rooms are an experience.

I first got to know Stassen over 40 years ago. It was my first "real system" that I wanted to save myself after a long time, namely a Revox A78 amplifier and the A77 tape recorder. At the time, that was high-end at its finest.
Price comparisons were a little more laborious then than they are today. After weeks of research, I ended up at Hifi Stassen in Venlo (NL) and walked out there with my dream equipment. What impressed me was the advice given by the then owner, Mr. Stassen Senior. First of all, he attached great importance to finding out what hi-fi needs I had and also showed cheaper alternatives. After hours of listening, I stuck to my decision in favor of the two Revox devices. Mr. Stassen made a price offer that was far below what I had originally estimated. A few months later, the matching speaker boxes followed (JBL L36). Here too, Stassen couldn't be beaten in terms of price. And again and again this fantastic advice. Mr. Stassen told me that his aim was not to make quick and one-off money, but to retain customers in the long term, and he succeeded in doing that with me. In the years that followed, various items of equipment came and went and the final sales address was always Stassen Hifi . After the business moved to Tegelen (NL) years ago and the junior (Marcel Stassen) is now running the business there, a lot has changed. The shop is located in a spacious mini castle called "Palazzo". A great ambience in which you can find a really large selection of hi-fi equipment. This selection of equipment alone is unique. What has remained, however, is the basic concept that Mr. Stassen Senior proclaimed at the time, customer loyalty through trust, top service and unbeatable prices. This concept is being continued by the current owner as well.
I recently had a comparative situation after I was interested in an Accuphase amplifier from a German dealer, I asked to be able to take the device home with me so that I could hear it on my system and evaluate whether it sounded okay or not. The new price is over 5000 . I should deposit the full purchase price as a deposit for the demonstration device that is getting on in years. Something like that is impossible with Stassen. As already mentioned, trust on both sides. And so it won't be an Accuphase.

A final word about the prices on the HOME Page, do not be confused if you are interested in equipment, contact us and wait for a personal offer. Otherwise, a visit to Tegelen is always worthwhile when the current restrictions by Covid are lifted again.
I would like to emphasize that I do not receive any benefits from the Stassen company through this article, or that I am working for them.

Everyone there is a little "crazy", but in a positive sense: I've never received such competent, friendly and at the right moment cautious advice on HiFi.
In addition, an ambience that almost takes your breath away.
Regardless of whether you buy accessories for 50 euros or a complete system for 50,000 euros: We never had the feeling that they wanted to sell us something more expensive than what we had stated as the budget (and that was VERY far away from 50,000 euros ).
Why crazy? Because everyone there lives their dream for perfect sound.
On top of that, there was good coffee and delicious cake!

Hifi Stassen has a good reputation in the hifi scene.
It had been my plan to stop there for a long time. Especially since I am looking and want to upgrade my Dali Opticon 6.
The building is already very beautiful from the outside, but is far exceeded by the interior! Very beautiful and elegant rooms on four floors, in which various hi-fi components are located.

The staff and the service is really unique.
You can hear all kinds of speakers and amplifiers against each other. Taking your own speakers with you and comparing them is no problem.

This is the best thing I've ever been. I did a listening session 2x and then proceed to a set purchase. Very wide choice, in all price categories. Very good reception, people with knowledge who speak to you and find a tailor-made solution for the requested. The setting of the listening castle makes the picture more than complete.

My Marantz receiver, purchased as a result of a great offer, online. Delivered within two days and everything top. A few months later, after some problems with a Ziggo box, I got problems with the Marantz. Sent, everything fully checked and working again (settings were disrupted). I picked up the receiver myself in the listening castle, but I was very impressed by how it was set up there. A recommended address with excellent service.
