It s fabulous to see and to live the moment at the first location of Starbucks. I visited this place in the winter 2016 and the experience was wonderful. I Love Seattle city
It s fabulous to see and to live the moment at the first location of Starbucks. I visited this place in the winter 2016 and the experience was wonderful. I Love Seattle city
First Starbucks store.
Always crowded!
Caffe Latte tasted the same around the world.
If you're an avid Starbucks fan it'll be neat to check out this location as it was it's very first. If you're into coffee and know Starbucks coffee already it's nothing special. But it's in a busy area of pike place so good to walk past it.
Nice but crowded as people like to see the first Starbucks in history
Starbucks founding shop, the usual opening of the store door into the world of Starbucks fans want to pilgrimage, the store retains the original trademark two-tailed mermaid wood carving pattern, so unique, so most Starbucks fans into the store will buy a memorial cup, not a spacious shop, Often crowded with queues, if there are tourists who want to travel specially, it is important to note whether the time required to stay will affect the itinerary.
Had the chance to visit this store when I was in Seattle last weekend. It was only 9 an and the queue was long already. However I still managed to get in the line, to add a new experience in this iconic store. The waitress was so friendly during our wait. Got myself a grande almond milk latte and my husband tried their brewed coffee.
The first Starbucks! Nice peace of contemporary history
As a historical spot, this location is always super crowded. They do what they can to keep the line moving but expect a longer than average wait.
A little bit more expensive, but the history is with it.
Their first shop in the world. You might pass by it without noticing it s a Starbucks because it is still have their old logo. There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. I think that is one of the great things to say about Starbucks. I liked the collection of their unique coffee.
It's supposedly the first original Starbucks but actually it's the second, the first one burned down from a fire and this one was built close to it. But the wait is typically super long to get something that you can get anywhere really. I recommend going in the morning time before rush hour or after 6pm.
Amazing original starbucks. The people here are super nice.
Go there after Pikes Market Closes and you won t have to wait in line. Pretty cool to check out if you love Starbucks.
The first Starbucks store. You can buy original beans and cups only here.
The original Starbucks. They have a lot of unique merchandise, however the line can sometimes be crazy long (taking over 30min). Personally, I don't find it worth it.
Tourist attraction, obviously. Very crowded as everyone wants to be in and around it. Staff works as best as possible to speed the process through due to large crowds. Be prepared to wait an hour. Nice to see they have merchandise to show this is the origin of Starbucks.
The shop is full of people, and the clerk is also bright. The place is narrow and there are a lot of people.
It's like every other starbucks, but its the first, prepare for queues
The very first Starbucks! It s gets really busy but definitely worth a visit!
Very interesting place, where this amazing business started!
I always bought white chocolate mocha grande. That is my stress reliever together with the banana nut bread. Thanks, Starbucks for always having all of my favorites, it's really helping me to overcome my stress. I love the ambiance and the smell of coffee, it makes me relax. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommended.
One of the busiest Starbucks i have ever seen. Iconic Starbucks. Its been a tourist attraction attraction lately
This was by far the best most well-kept friendliest Starbucks I've ever been to might have something to do with it also being the first Starbucks ever opened
This place was packed and I agree with all the reviews, unless you want to pick up something or take pictures of the this place, don't buy a coffee from here. When I visited the store, it was a nice feeling staying in line to get my first coffee and buy a mug. To many people in line. You can pick up a coffee from the other starbucks across the street.
First Starbucks! Do it once!
Happy hour promotion was going on for all starbucks but staff couldn t tell us what s available for it and even aware of the promotion.
Super long lines but worth it for the amazingly friendly staff. Wait was about 20mins for us to order then another 10min wait for our drinks to be ready. This was at 12 so lunch time could be the reason but line stays out the door and down the street. Prices are the normal star bucks prices no more expensive then normal. This is the original starbucks so come for that experince and enjoy the wait!
First Starbucks. One of the top sales out of 30k of the world's locations. Line is rediculous, but it's very relaxed!
The only reason you may wanna visit is that it's the first ever store, otherwise it's no different from the others. You get some souvenir items, but the place gets a lot of attention so chances are there's a long queue of people waiting to order.
Iconic place. When you get out of the hotel early in the morning, you can enjoy coffee without getting crowded.
The first Starbucks store.
Cups and tumblers limited to the first store are on sale and I think it is a great tourist spot for fans.
Product sales are in the right column after entering the store, and drinks are in the left column.
This place gets pretty packed being the first Starbucks and all but its not a long wait
Very good experience and friendly staff. You can buy one first Starbucks mug/cup here as well
The drop roast coffee takes a while and I thought it was just hype being the first Starbucks but if you go in the morning first thing you avoid the line ups.
It's really just another Starbucks. The only difference being that this one sells unique mugs, etc related to being the original starbucks. If you're into that kind of thing, maybe its worth the wait. Otherwise it was good enough for me to simply see the location from the outside and not necessary to wait 20 minutes to get inside. That time could be be better spent exploring the rest of the outstanding pikes market and surrounding area.
Good coffee and faster than any other starbucks.
Even the menu is more simple
Friendly service in this historic part of Seattle. Highly recommend trying it out. But don t expect anything special, it s still just Starbucks coffee.
The original Starbucks is one of the smallest but they make it work. Very organized and the employees are happy to help! I'm not the biggest fan of them but I had to check it out and get some exclusive merchandise.
I think this is the first Starbucks store. Very crowded.
Very interesting place to visit if you are into Starbucks and all that, though probably not the best place to visit if you are just needing a coffee, as the lines are ridiculously long and the store can get very very crowded.
This is the original Starbucks so they say and the lines lend weight to that claim. Its your standard Starbucks fare but with that added first place cache. I really enjoyed the coffee but mostly because of the setting just outside the door.
First Starbucks in the world. Be prepared to wait a bit as this location is insanely busy. They have a lot of merchandise that you can't get any any other starbucks. I suggest buying at least one cup or mug. After you order depending on the time of day expect a long wait. I had the reserve roast and it was probably one of the best Starbucks cups of coffee I've ever had.
Just your average Starbucks, except for the fact that it almost always has a line out of the door. However, I have to give the staff credit, as even when the line was huge, they moved people through the shop very efficiently.
The first Starbucks then inevitably has the world ... not much to do but the team puts the atmosphere and if you are a fan of mug and there is the choice
First Starbucks. Make sure you are ready for a big line up.
This is where it all happened. All the coffee in the world is grown here and roasted. Also, there s a fish market right around the corner & coffee pairs really well with fish.
Starbucks fans' sacred place 1st. There are products available only here.
i was not impressed. this doesn't show too much when it comes to history. it's more like 'take a picture outside and buy merchandise inside' i thought it'd be different or show more about the 'history of starbucks' but no, just buy a cup and get out.
Came here today and I just have to say: PRISCILLA IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Great barista!!
This is the final resting place of Starbucks' once great spirit. Worth a quick peak.
Was in Seattle for a day so visited the first Starbucks
Iconic first Starbucks outlet. But don t expect your cuppa to be fast. Always a long queue everytime I pass. The shop is small and always crowded. The coffee are just regular Starbucks. But you can get limited edition Starbucks merchandise that s only available in this store and nowhere else - things like flasks, mugs, etc.
What wonderful service. The staff person who helped me purchase a cup was extremely efficient and sweet.
I loved the machiatto cokies and cream, is my favorite drink, but this time the service I received was not the best :/
A must-see in Seattle. This is the original Starbucks shop. The line is scarily long but I think the experience is worth it because it is simply put a must do in Seattle: it's what the city is known for.
Great to be at first starbucks ever in world.... just like every other starbucks.... very crowded as it's in busy location...staff is great.
Although it is considered the 'original' Starbucks, it is actually the second. The first Starbucks location no longer exists, so for Starbucks fanatics, all things considered, this is your mecca. It's just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill Starbucks with the classic logo and a few 'original Starbucks' markers throughout. After waiting in a long line, I was hoping for something more. I would have been more satisfied if my drink had the original logo or if they offered special drinks only served at this location. The 'tossing' of the cups was a nice Pike Place Market touch, except for the fact that the baristas consistently dropped them.
I really like this game I one got to level 3 and was amazingly star George. When did world war 2 take place?
When did world war 2 take place?
When did world war 2 take place?
The first Starbucks was too crowded last time and did n t go in. I bought cups and coffee this time
This store is a really cool place to see in Seattle, and it's amazing how quick they are for how crowded it here. If you like coffee, this is a wonderful place to stop of you're in Pike Place.
Many people, rank, but worth knowing the 1st establishment today is known worldwide, recommend arriving early and take el.cafe hot day
I love coffee. I love the taste the smell, experience. To wait in line for high priced sub par product it madness. People are lined up down the street to go to the "original" Starbucks. I have news for you, it is still the coffee you can get at the other 5 million Starbucks in Seattle. So if you are hell bent on getting their coffee. Walk another 5 minutes and go to a different Starbucks. This is why other countries hate us. Somewhere there is a villager, walking to get a jar of potable water. And you just spent more than they make in a month on coffee.
The only reason I visited is because it's the first store ever, other than that it's really just another Starbucks. But it was fun, it's a tourist attraction so expect alot of tourists and long line. No seating, just order and go. I got a mug from there. Cool interior. But overall, it was a cool experience.
Okay, this place is flooded with tourists. I would NOT want to work here.
The coffee isn't like any other Starbucks. Nothing's different to me. But being in its presence and knowing that this was the Starbucks that started at all is kinda cool.. but not worth the long line for the same cup of coffee.
Come, look at it, take pics, leave. Experience complete.
It is crowded with tourists. Go early in the morning, in addition to coffee, you can purchase tumblers, mugs, etc. to celebrate.
The first store is located in front of "PIKE PLACE MARKET".
Even when Starbucks around the world were green, only the first store continued to be brown. If you buy a prepaid card here and then buy a souvenir, you can buy a brown prepaid card that you can only buy here in the world, but unfortunately the system is different from Japan and you can not use it.
The first Starbucks store. Because it is a tourist destination, it is always crowded, but you can buy coffee in the early morning. There is also a variety of goods limited to the first store.
Super crowded place, anyway, famous for being the first Starbucks ever.
