We booked this hotel for a romantic weekend. There is nothing to say. The staff is very nice, nothing is too much trouble. Good advice was given to us for our visits to the city. The breakfast is complete, the decoration is refined. A gym is available, although it is small, that was enough for us! We did everything on foot, but buses and metro are nearby to get around.
The setting is idyllic. We had a pleasant stay, enough for my partner to propose to me. We recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, easy to reach by car.
To recommend the weekend, much quieter since located not far from the European district and business. But the center remains accessible on foot.
The suites are remarkably well designed and the breakfast very nice.

Stayed there last night in what seemed like a royal suite, really fancy.
Staff was super friendly. A surprise waited in the morning: the water in the shower never got warmer than lukewarm - surprising for a five star hotel. Fortunately I don't mind cold showers too much.

Very nice, classy. Only problem is the horrible air-conditioning!!! Please switch it off not to emit CO2!! Be climate friendly. Think also of the hundreds of people who are allergic to air-conditioning, as they are literally sick from it! If you switch off air-conditioning, your hotel would merit five stars!

A beautiful Club room
Very professional and discreet staff
And an ideal location to navigate the different districts of Brussels

The location is great, but the rooms are small and the breakfast is ridiculously overpriced. The wifi wasn't great either. The decor is posh. Overall it feels like a place for fancy-pants.

In this hotel, my wife and I spent one of the long weekends of November 2017. We were very pleased with the elegant style of its design, and the calm, friendly atmosphere, and the equipment of our room (suite number 208). The hotel has a very decent restaurant with a small but thoughtful menu. All the dishes we tried were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not work on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is located on a quiet street, within walking distance of transport stations, next to the European Parliament and the Brussels Park.

The Stanhope Hotel is an excellent hotel in which I have visited twice, for several nights.
It is easy to get there by car, provided you reserve a parking space at the hotel.
The welcome is each time very attentive, the rooms were spacious, quiet, comfortable and the service in the hotel is perfect.

An outstanding stylish hotel. The many different rooms and suites and apartments are spacious and luxurious up to extremely luxurious. In the lobby there is a very cozy bar and a lounge with view over the garden terrace. A garden terrace where it is very nice to have a drink or lunch/dinner in summer. Very nice restaurant. Good service. Friendly and helpful staff.

Haven't stayed overnight but met friends for a drink after work - nice, friendly relaxed bar.
Also met friends for a Sunday breakfast (not Brunch) was great.
The Brunch Season starts middle of September - will definitely be trying it out. The hotel makes a very nice and clean Impression.

Great location for those who have to go to the European Parliament, 5 min. Feet .
Discreet service of the staff
Good bright and large rooms
But sometimes they are not cleaned well.
Stay 3 days. Enjoy your breakfast .
Price a bit high based on services.

Superb room, super comfortable bed, bathroom with shower with all the necessary and even superfluous comfort.
The only downside: the humidity begins to damage the bottom of the door.
Breakfast with a lot of choice.

A beautiful, cossy and luxurious hotel. The staff are attentive, smiling and friendly.
Unfortunately located in a business district, it is very difficult to access during the day but more accessible from the early evening
The advantage of its location is that there is everything nearby and there are many possibilities for public transport.

Fantastic stay for our anniversary. Slept well in the room which was well air conditioned and immaculate. The breakfast was amazing and a nice touch with the fresh honeycomb straight from the hive. The staff were so friendly and very helpful with all our questions about travel ect. 5 star stay at this 5 star hotel

The hotel is perfectly located, the rooms are great, a somewhat peculiar atmosphere, with vintage-contemporary airs, we were staying on the sixth floor and the room consists of a bathroom with bath and shower and a toilet, a living room, hall and separate room.
The hotel is very close to the center of Brussels, the royal palace, and the European Parliament, with the central train station in Brussels at a distance of 1.5 km, very well connected for sightseeing in Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp , etc. without changing accommodation.
On the other hand breakfast was very good, with variety and quality, although as an inconvenience I want to emphasize that it was cold both in the breakfast room and in the rooms.
Great deal by the staff who have tried to speak Spanish, unbeatable treatment and very friendly, providing facilities at all times.
After soooo many experiences, hotel of 10.

Probably the most beautiful terrace in the European district.
An attentive service, excellent cuisine, great wines served by the glass at reasonable prices ... what more can you ask for?
I would return with great pleasure, for a moment of quality, to discuss in privacy without having the elbow on the plate of my neighbor, to enjoy a real meal of excellent Belgian-French cuisine!

What experience. The hotel is just beautiful, the suite was very nice for one night, the breakfast is well supplied and the staff most friendly. In short I highly recommend the place. What happiness

It's a nice hotel, with nice rooms. But there were also some things that weren't comfortable. Small things, but still. Nespresso machine was not working properly. The soap dispenser did not work.
What made my experience negative is that we took 3 things from the minibar. A beer, a bag of nuts and a pack of 5 biscuits. 19 euros ...

What to say ... Everything was perfect !! And in addition I was lucky to be upgraded! Staff, room, quiet, breakfast, products available, gym and sauna ... Nothing to say. Close to metro stations, very convenient. The little extra: the perfume diffused at the entrance which has a very soothing effect and makes us travel. You will see, it is striking!

(Stay in 2011) Very nice hotel in royal district. The staff can not do enough. The rooms cozy and warm. Delicious breakfast and restaurant reserved for a perfect birthday! To recommend for any visit in the Belgian capital.

Beautiful hotel, well situated in the European quarter in Ixelles.
Within its imposing structure luxurious, refurbished rooms are hidden.
The service is great and the staff is eager to react to any issue at hand.
Pros: service, location, room (equipment and size), beds, amenities, not crowded
Cons: tad expensive, heavy in room decoration, parking access and limited places, accessibility

Was lucky that some holes in my programme suddenly allowed for a nice long lunch at the Stanhope restaurant. Great food, nice wines, perfect service and all of it enjoyed al fresco in the courtyard. Bill was reasonable for so much quality and style.
