Cozy. Good place to read. Comfy chairs. Friendly staff.
A tad pricey, but there is a great variety of novel items and a wonderful selection of books.
They have such big variety of stanford clothes and things that students need not only books ! I could buy gifts here.
Great bookstore with everything you might need for classes, including electronics
Good place for Stanford bling. Went here mainly to buy Stanford paraphernalia for friends.
Complete merchandise with Stanford logo, and quite affordable
Lots of school swag and the employees were nice and fun to talk to.
Lots of Stanford shirts, very interesting books, expensive textbooks.
We had planned to buy an ipad because there is a discount from the store. But unfortunately the Bookstore was closed temperarily for some reason.
Are you a fellow Stanford student feeling the bubble blues? Is it week 7 and you feel like you can't stand another minute of being trapped on campus? If youre dying for a breath of fresh air, to feel just for a minute like you're living in the real world, head up to the second floor of the bookstore and sit on the comfy couches surrounded by cooking and children's books. Look out the windows of the front of the bookstore and you'll find that you can't see the claw or the adobe style buildings of campus. Listen to the smooth elevator jingles playing from the ceiling that will soothe any introverted soul. And bit by bit it will start to feel like you're in any old bookstore in some plaza in some city of the real world.
Immense place to shop, good selection of books and souvenirs, the staff very helpful and attentive to any requirement.
Stanford University shop. They sell student shopping and souvenirs for tourists. You can feel the world's highest learning.
Nice and quiet. Many souvenirs for the tourists and enthusiasts.
Everything a student could need. We went on the last stop of our campus tour. My son loved the hospitality and culture that this became the "coolest University"
Bought a book here. Lots of stanford merch, electronics, and more. Fulfill all your shopping needs Stanford apparel, postcards, books, computers, athletic gear, and food right on the Stanford campus. Visit one of these Stanford-affiliated providers on campus or online to stock up.
While saying a bookstore, how many T-shirts are there! There are more T-shirts than books. Moreover, it is on sale. Is that necessary? It is fun to see a lot of various goods!
Beautiful large book store where they also sell souvenirs
Great place to but some souvenirs and to enjoy an ice cream or have some coffee.
While fun to peruse the books, the real reason is the coffee shop on second floor. Stay away from the muffins.... they're mine.
Stand Ford is one of best college all over country ,it's the best college .college environment is super cool very pleasant and greenery all most every where tree ,orange tree , fountain, there is bike stand for bicycle and electronic machine placed in some of the places for emergency to call 911 for any kind of threat to life or for any emergencies.Must say every American is like luxury to study with full of life .
After completing a myriad of Stanford courses via correspondence I decided to check out the campus while visiting Silicon Valley. IT IS AWESOME. I did the walking tour departing @ 11am daily - the student guide Julien was entertaining and gave us an authentic Stanford tour filled with history and insider stories. It is worth visiting for the amazing Californian architecture alone.
Although the style is quite a lot, but the design is very ordinary, souvenirs are not attractive enough.
Love their selection and how there is a cafe inside
Many books, many souvenirs, many apparels, many stanford products, have apple store, have cafe, have restroom ... so let's visit.
This use to be the geatest student book store in the USA that sold forefront and technical books. Now it is a tourist junk store with a few books and lots of childrens books. It is not worth a visit unless you want Stanford gear.
Great place to read and have a cup of coffee. The campus of Standard University is awesome.
Tidy place with souvenirs at the top well organized and below all the books and textbooks as well as various supplies
Saved a little on new iPad mini at the Stanford Bookstore on the Stanford campus. Nice cafe on the second floor. Parking can be difficult during the week when classes are in session. It s much easier to park on weekends without a permit.
Famous school souvenir shop There are four floors in the east and west. The school is beautiful a bit remote
Good place to visit. Clothes, book and sourveniers are for sale.
Bring your own cup and real coffee is only 50 cents!! Great stuff, good books, fun atmosphere and plenty of places to chill
I'm a bookstore lover. This one I visited often. Lo ed it!
This is the place if you want literally anything with a Stanford logo on on it. The downfall is that it's expensive (at least for a college student.) The upside is all the products are of high quality and standarf.
Visiting the Bookstore to purchase items for a conference. The staff was very helpful, especially Fernando! He was able to get the supplies I needed. Thank you for you help!!!
Meh...Washington State University bookstore is a thousand times better ;) GO COUGS!!!!!!!!
Comprehensive bookstore upstairs. Nice coffee shop also upstairs. Parking is always difficult on the central Stanford campus, but there is a pay lot near the tresidder Union.
It's okay just that things tend to be a bit expensive but hey that's one way they money right?
Its a great place for school supplies and essentials. The prices are a little high though. All around, they tend to have a lot of things you need.
There are many souvenir gifts, and t-shirts. I could find some drinks and snacks too.
No longer a book store but a t-shirt shop. Sad as it was once so rich with the math, science and engineering books - like the library of Alexandria. Now it is souvenir shop. Stanford, how could you let this happen, are you that desperate for money that knowledge is regulated to a tiny part of your "book" store.
A negizio of T-shirts and other university gadgets. Not a real bookstore, even if some books are still found.
Standard university bookstore experience, nothing to write home about. Used textbooks are still at a considerable markup - recommend going elsewhere if you can if you're not willing to dish out the money for textbooks. Or just be a nice person and lend/borrow old books between friends.
Big selection of spirit wear. Friendly staff, clean store. Out of towners be prepared - bring your own bag or get charged $0.15 for a brown bag.
Good assortment of Stanford branded souvenirs. Reasonably priced and effective gifts for friends and family back home. Staffs are exceptionally kind and helpful.
I liked it very much, whoever visit Stanford shouldn't miss this one place.
Nice looking store on campus, but extremely hard to find parking ($1/30min). Surprisingly, not much in terms of textbooks/academic texts - sadly, there appears to be more souvenirs than books.
Stanford bookstore has just about everything you would ever want & need. Accept groceries, of course! Lol
Cashier scoffed at me for using dollar coins and was rather rude. Other than that it has nice stuff
Love this places, only dreaming could be one of student of Stanford University, but at least from this place i could buy some souvenirs and feel like student of Stanford. Yeay.. :D
Very nice and above all competent service and advice on books. What a bit disturbing are the many clothes / merchandising.
Comprehensive bookstore. Love the book recommendations. Nice Cafe upstairs.
Do you want to feel like a "doomed" brain to start a startup and earn millions? Then stop by and catch a soccer team shirt ... Also if you are Spanish, surely you deserve it .. You play better than them
Everything is extremely expensive, but it is a very nice place to shop with a pretty cool selection of things to buy.
