I went to this store on Saturday and I was absurdly disappointed.
The second experience of arriving in Galway and looking for a store to buy a good Water proof jacket.
Well, when we entered the store, we said Good morning, which we were denied (we noticed from the beginning the lack of empathy of the manager) or that she is the owner, because if she is, she forgot that we are the clients who fill her pocket with money.
She looked at my husband (who is Irish) from head to toe, we were going to pay, because we bought some things and spent good money.
We have enough money to buy the entire store if we wanted haha even on the Penneys customer service is better, among other brands, can maintain better customer service.
Be humble, it is not because your store makes good money that you should treat customers with superiority and respond with arrogance.
Never forget that a house is not built from the roof.
Inside the store the customer service is wonderful, but the manager is rated 0.

I will certainly never return.

Pleasant stopover on this stretch of coast. Quality Irish outerwear from top designers at surprisingly reasonable prices in a comfortable, easy-to-shop setting. Cozy cafe in store albeit bizarrely located beside WC when it could be enjoying panoramic bay views. Unfortunately a lot of tourist kitsch is stocked also: this definitely deflates the quality experience.

Disappointed with clothing selection. Don't know if buyer is sure what age they cater for. Beautiful accessories but clothing needs to be improved.

High quality goods shop. In the middle of renovations so marked downs star. Helpful staff.

Nice gift store with a big selection of Irish gifts. From pottery to soaps and woolen wear, they have it all. I don't understand why there are soaps from England here but that might just be something some tourists are looking for? Always worth a stop!

Some unique items from Ireland and some nice style choices. Good opportunity for a cuppa and cake.

This is a tourist trap. Professional but expensive.

Have stopped here over the years when in Connemara. Lovely shop, clothes, souvenirs and lovely giftware. Coffee shop serves lovely coffee, tea and cakes, we were there on a cold day and felt the shop was a bit cold and could do with being a little warmer.

A good gift shop stocking a range of Irish made clothing for men and women, both fashion and for the outdoors. Standun also has a great selection of home gifts, tableware and decorative and also some nice glassware. Situated on the road into Spiddal from Galway, it is a good stop on your tour of Connemara.

Good array of clothing & other goods for sale at reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Expensive greeting cards for sale. Staff not inclined to speak with you as Gaeilge even though shop is situated in a Gaeltacht area.

stopped here on a nice drive in Ireland. they have coffee and we needed a fix. it was fun to look at all the stuff as well. coffee was worth it.
