The workers here work hard, and the employer pays fair wages. This is a very good business in all aspects from what little i know about it

My grandfather, Herbert Hank, took me on a tour of the foundary when I was a boy, nearly 40 years ago. It's one of my fondest childhood memories. If I remember correctly, Grandpa had been a foreman at Shahl's, and was one of the earliest employees, having been friends with - and had worked with Glenn Stahl, the company founder - at the Pratt & Whitney aircraft engine facility in Kansas City during WWII.
I don't know if they do (or ever did) conduct tours for the general public, but I'd love to see it again.

Worked here for almost 5 years. Progressively gets worse for the environment for the employees. They will work you to death in the foundry department
