Stages, Folsom Dance Arts Review

Very nice, new, venue. Well staffed with helpful and friendly volunteers. Seen several events here. Love that it's close to my house and I don't have to go downtown to see quality productions. Huge variety of offerings too, just check their calendar. Lots of food options nearby as well.

The "In the Mood" concert last evening was over the top, in its musicianship, vocals, dancing, instrumental soloists, choreography and lighting. It was a pure pleasure to be there! A big thank you to all who made this 25th anniversary program available to us.

Outstanding place to see music or a show. Great acoustics and sound. Clearly, they have top talent booking their top talent. I've seen classical symphonies and jazz groups here, all sensational.

Very nice venue. Easy to get to, good parking, great sound system. Could use someplace to buy a drink. Nothing but water here.

Nice venue, just the right size to enjoy any performance.

Located ot Folsom Lake College, it is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility with outstanding acoustics.

The only complaints I have, and the only complaints I ever hear, are that a) they don't serve alcohol. I don't need to get drunk to have a good time, but it would be great if we could get a cocktail or glass of wine before the show, at intermission, or after.

Apparently, some of the college board of trustees are opposed to having booze.

and b) It is staffed by volunteers who appear to be trained to whisper at all times and keep the place quiet and formal.

Dancing is not allowed. One rock band that played there said it was the quietest audience he had ever performed before.

The do have a wide variety of acts coming through, however. Everything from Chinese Acrobats to Kenny Loggins.

It really is a great place to see a show, but you just get in and get out.

The sound was great! But, the seats we were sold were farther back than we wear led to believe. However, the acoustics made up for it!

We went to see Shen Yun show, and it was fantastick. Both performances were sold out. Just great.

Love this venue. Whether you see a concert, play, or the symphony, there is not a bad seat in the house.

Saw Spamalot here recently. The show was great. The theater was great. We sat just about smack dab in the middle of the mezzanine and had a pretty good view. If we could, I would have preferred 2 or 3 rows closer to the front of the mezzanine. The acoustics are great. These only complaint is the leg room is almost as bad as on a plane. Trying to walk past people who did not want/need to get up for a potty break during intermission was like what I think walking a tight rope must be like.

I have been to many events at The Harris Center; it's a wonderful venue! I have never had a bad seat and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink for a fun night out.

Great venue for concerts. Intimate setting, all seats are decent.

Great orchestra! Outstanding Christmas concert! Dennis McNeil as a tenor and John Kendall Bailey as a guest conductor along with orchestra makes an amazing experience! Sing along was also fun! The place is really nice and sound system is superb!

Best acoustics in the area, a real joy for theater and music

My first time there. Every seat in this Entertainment center, was excellent with no obstruction and the sound was perfect. I will go back in the future as often as possible.

Amazing talented players. My complaint is with the staff. Why toddler children are allowed in and people are sat after the show begins is amateur at best. It's so disrupting to the show and disrespect to actors and the audience. I give them zero stars.

Jim Messina was good as ever and his band was so talented. Venue is perfect. All good seats.

A gem of a place for local and national cultural events. Located in the local community college. Multiple shows about every week through the year. Reasonable prices, easy parking.

Always a great place to go here for all sorts of events. It's a wonderful place to go to and go with friends.

it's a great theater go see a good show without paying a fortune for parking downtown.

Relatively low cost to see performing arts. Easy parking. Most seats have excellent views of stage.

The theatre looks to be made entirely out of wood, making the sound stage resonate to every corner. It's like sitting in a wooden, well built speaker.

Harris Center is a great place to watch local musicals and interesting concerts. The tickets aren't very expensive and the venue is clean and not too busy as far as parking. A good night out for something different from dinner and a movie.

I came to listen to the "Placer Pops" perform. The bathrooms were a decent size and very clean.

This is a wonderful venue. It's a bit more cozy than other regional theaters, but the seats are comfortable and the parking is very easy.
