Stages Dance Academy is a dance studio located in Laconia, New Hampshire that offers a wide range of dance classes for kids and parents. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where students can learn the art of dance while building confidence, self-esteem, and lifelong friendships.
At Stages Dance Academy, we believe that every child has the potential to be a great dancer. That's why we offer classes for all ages and skill levels – from beginner to advanced – in various styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, acro/tumbling and more. Our experienced instructors are passionate about teaching dance techniques while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
We understand that each student has unique needs when it comes to learning how to dance. That's why our classes are designed with small class sizes so that each student receives individual attention from our instructors. We also offer private lessons for those who want one-on-one instruction or need extra help with specific skills.
Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including spacious studios with sprung floors which reduce the risk of injury during jumps or landings. We also have mirrors on all walls so students can see themselves as they practice their moves.
In addition to regular classes throughout the year (September through June), we also offer summer camps where students can continue their training during school breaks. These camps include intensive training sessions in various styles of dance along with fun activities like arts & crafts projects.
At Stages Dance Academy we believe that dancing should be accessible to everyone regardless of financial circumstances. That's why we offer scholarships based on merit or financial need so that every child has an opportunity to pursue their passion for dancing.
We take pride in being part of the Laconia community by participating in local events such as parades or festivals where our dancers showcase their skills. We also organize annual recitals where students can perform in front of family and friends.
