Drew and Tony transported me from LUH ER to my home. They were the nicest, most caring and compassionate crew I have ever met! When they got me home, they transferred me into my bed, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed to get me through the night until my caregiver arrived in the morning. I will definitely use Stadium Medical should I ever need them again. I will refer Stadium Medical to others. Thank you Drew and Tony for all you did for me!
Do not use this service! If it is called for you, record everything including your refusal of treatment. I was forcefully kidnapped and brought to Denver health against my will. I stated many times that I did not consent to treatment.
To top it all off, when I received my bill, I was billed at the highest emergency rate for a non emergency call (that I never consented to!) I talked to the manager but he was worthless. He knows what he's doing and he's getting away with it. KIDNAPPING AND EXTORTION
I worked at Stadium for 8 months and had a great experience. I only left because I moved out of state. The atmosphere is fun and inviting as well as professional. The employees are filled with integrity and easy to get along with.
Abused me in the ambulance. Staff was horrible! Kidnapped me and forced me to go to the hospital when there was no need. The doctor quoted "Why did they bring you here? You didn't need to come." After myself, boyfriend, and 2 friends repeated several times I didn't need to go. They took off my shirt in front of 1000's of people and wouldn't let me put it back on. Refused to give me water after asking several times. Physically shoved myself in the ambulance and strapped me down so hard and hit me. I came out with bruises all over my body. When I walk to the medical tent at a venue the staff quoted "We got a live one." Instead of asking me what happened or what was wrong. The staff was all trainees. The girl putting an IV in me asked the driver of the ambulance how to put the IV in because she didn't know how. She was shaking so much she dropped the needle and still put the needle in me after it hit the ground. They lied on medical records about my condition and what my boyfriend stated and also lied to the hospital. The hospital figured that one out. The whole ride they made fun of me and were laughing at me instead of helping me save my life. The whole medical record is WRONG. They couldn't even get my SSN right. When you call about filing a complaint or billing, every single person is TERRIBLE. Also, my bill is wrong. I shouldn't have to pay them a penny!!! Michael, the general manager, quoted on the phone to me "That was the right way for my staff to treat you." That is not the right way to treat any patient. I was drugged at a venue and then got abused from medical staff where I thought I could be safe? Stay away from this company and St. Joseph Hospital in Denver!!! I have been mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially traumatized. All of this was caused by a tall, short haired lady that obviously doesn't care about patients. ALL NEED TO BE FIRED!
Not much you can do if the hospital transfers you by this ambulance service. They won t tell you it s out of network and will not negotiate their bill when insurance won t pay. I would not have ridden in an ambulance had I known it was not covered. I was not in a life threatening condition. Why don t you disclose that you are out of network so a choice can be made?
If you're a disabled veteran whose only insurance is the VA, do not use this ambulance service. I called the billing department and explained yet again my insurance was the VA and the representative told me that they had waited long enough for the VA to respond and that I should contact my congressman. Today, I received a letter from the collection agency they hired to get me to pay the bill. I am going to sue this company for lack of communication and defamation of my character. It makes me wonder how this company is still in business. Great way to treat disabled veterans.
They took great care of my 7 year old daughter and our whole family during the scariest time of our lives. We are very appreciative of their service and support.
