St. Theresa Church: A Place of Worship and Community
St. Theresa Church is a vibrant and welcoming community of believers located in the heart of the city. With a rich history dating back to its founding in 1925, St. Theresa Church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and love for generations.
At St. Theresa Church, we believe that worship is not just an obligation but an opportunity to connect with God and with one another. Our services are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and uplifting, featuring inspiring music, meaningful prayers, and relevant messages that speak to the challenges and joys of everyday life.
One of our most cherished traditions at St. Theresa Church is the celebration of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. On May 7th this year, we had the privilege of witnessing 77 children receive this sacrament for the first time! It was a joyous occasion filled with prayerful reflection on what it means to partake in Christ's body and blood.
But our commitment to worship extends beyond Sunday mornings; we offer daily Masses as well as opportunities for adoration and confession throughout the week. We also have an active youth ministry program that engages young people in service projects, retreats, social events, and more.
In addition to worship services and ministries focused on spiritual growth, St. Theresa Church also serves as a hub for community outreach efforts aimed at addressing social justice issues such as poverty alleviation, immigration reform advocacy work or environmental stewardship initiatives like recycling programs or tree planting campaigns.
Our church building itself is a beautiful example of Gothic Revival architecture that has been lovingly maintained over many years by dedicated volunteers who take pride in preserving its historical significance while making necessary updates for modern-day use.
If you're looking for a place where you can deepen your faith while connecting with others who share your values - whether you're new to town or have lived here all your life - we invite you to join us at St.Theresa's!
