I love going to this church to get the word on Sunday very great outstanding service.

It is a beautiful place where everyone is welcome to worship.

We love this place! Father Mike is so cool & down-to-earth! He loves God & he loves people! What he does for the community--especially the less privileged-- is awesome! He is a TRUE man of God!

A church with authentic praise and worship. Offers outreach to the community through St. Sabina Academy, The ARK of St.Sabina, and St. Sabina Employment Resource Center.

Saint Sabina is a God-Filled place. BIBLE BASED Faith Community of St. Sabina Pastor, Michael Pfleger preaches LOVE for God and each other, PEACE and UNITY OF ALL GOD'S PEOPLE is the foundation here. Thank you Jesus for the anointing placed on this man of God. Sabina is an action orientated church.

Great church not only do they speak the word they take it too streets every fri night in the summer with the neighborhood March

Attended an incredible celebration of life for a dear friend. One forgets about these beautiful Cathedrals in my old neighborhood.

The congregation is welcoming, and genuine. Not your typical Catholic Church. More Baptist. Service is at least hour and half. If you are not ready to get your praise on, you will be when you leave. If you are a first timer, please come to the service on the first Sunday of the month.

All my kids went here and my little girl is the last one.

It was a privilege and an amazing experience to go into the church in school that my mother and father got married at. Well preserved blessings to you all. I got chills being in there seeing the workmanship and just felt the presence of God

I love my church it is so beautiful, the congregation are loving caring people that are devoted to God and the people of God. Pastor Pfleger is God's messenger who love God's heart and he does God will that's why he is blessed.

B!B! Yes I agree with you. The head seem to be more interested in his accomplishment and looking for funds to execute humongous projects than working on his spiritual life which seem to be totally bizarre. He is covered by the female protestant ministers that are working with him instead of repenting and turning away from prophet lying to the congregation.

The head seems more interested in self promotion then really helping people( all people). Wonder if he even believes in GOD, most of his actions seem to go against church theory.

Social justice is high priority at this well known institution.

Seriously???? I don't believe this is a Catholic church. I saw the building and thought, I NEED TO SEE THE INSIDE - and a bonus...Sunday mass and crowded. I'm a 51yr old catholic and have been in my share of churches. When I walked in I immediately felt uncomfortable and...I was watched. When I looked at the alter and the church interior I was shocked. Christ at the alter? No. I saw a large poster of a man with arms stretched. Who was this? I don't know. At the time I showed up there were several people moving up to and about the alter - I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING MUCH LESS WHAT PART OF MASS I WAS WITNESSING. I was there on Sunday, 10-11ish. After some time time, maybe 20 minutes of this happening....and being watched, I left and went down the stairs. At that point I was stopped and asked my intentions. I flat out asked if this was a Catholic church. I was told it was. Still in shock I then told him...Well it DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ONE. SAD, VERY SAD yet beautiful church. Can someone tell me what the heck is going on at this church??????

The realest church in Chicago! Pastor Mike keeps it 100 and really be in the streets of Chicago! If you ever need church and are in Chicago, St. Sabina is where you need to be!

St. Sabina is my place of comfort, helping me to stay close to Jesus, helping me to seek God through His word.

What really bothers me... Is that the entire Chicago area and who knows who else... Is PRONOUNCING THE NAME WRONG. I was named after this saint. And our name is pronounced SAH-BEE-NAH not this SAH-BYE-NAH. Just letting the public know since its not a common name.

I love Saint Sabina. Wonderful and loving community. They word is preached. Father Pfleger is anointed, and the love of God is definitely present.

One of the most interesting and dynamic faith experiences I have ever been a part of. This place is full of faith and passion for the church. The pastors outspoken activitsm is rooted within the congregation. I reccomend everyone take a sunday and enjoy the mass in this non-traditional catholic church.

I love the teachings;The pastors and his staff. We are a family.

I can feel the HOLY SPIRIT every one is really nice and friendly I have been a member since 1993 It is the best CHURCH In the world my Pastor is the best

This place is a great place to be one with God. The school is a great learning place. I have experience with this place because I go to the school currently.

Best church ever! No need to be catholic or religious to enjoy the masses here (I'm neither). Plus there is so much community here. Father Flager (spelled wrong) does everything he can to help the people in and out of the community. He doesnt let anyone go hungry or without a coat for example. Does at risk youth work, has awesome events and helped Spike Lee with the casting and filming of Chiraq. There is so much more to say. All kids get gifts fron Santa every year thanks to the church and turkeys given awc ay for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Great church, great priest, great church people! If u need anything St. Sabina and its community are there for you.

I am always confused when any Church provides Clothes, Food, School Supplies, Toys, Free Coats and Hat and Gloves.. and some have the AUDACITY TO COMPLAIN!

Wow. I was really blown away by how welcoming and kind everyone was this morning. I was a first-timer and I felt so moved by the service.

As a member of the Parish, I know Sr. Pastor Pfleger, led by the Holy Ghost/Spirit of Truth in the Anointed Jesus brings a message of Hope (Expectation) via Faith and Love taking it the Streets of Chicago and the world !

Absolutely WONDERFUL place! Father Pfleger is truly an annointed, appointed, loving, blessed Man of God! His passionate, spirited teachings...Wooo! The atmosphere of St. Sabina is very welcoming w/beautiful spirits to worship with!

This is a Great Church. I have attended for over 30 years. We do a lots of things in the community. We have a Peace March on Fri.
Fun festival, back to school picnic & much more...

The members were helpful, caring and supportive when I entered. My son was acting out and the members there showed slot of patience also.

With every service you mind, body, and soul are just filled with so much love and passion. The pastor speaks so much truth and life in every sermon. I highly recommend the Faith Community of St. Sabina! You will not be disappointed by the pastors powerful words and love that fills the church.

This place sucks! I do not recommend at all!! Kids are left unattended and not fed properly! I regret sending my kids here!

Everyone was welcoming, nice, and great service. Need the word. This is a great place to make your church home

Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and a waste of time. Went to the wioa grant class here back in October 2019 its March 2020 my class started 2/26/20 been calling them since every week since November no respond back and I still don't have what I need. I called the church part the guy told me he "will try" to get my message to whom it concerns but forget bout my class starting and my credits fiving to expire and me being eligible for the grant

He held a toy drive there December 23 2017 the posting ad etc. Said from 9am to 4pm omg it was to a lil caose very cold they didn't open the doors until 10:21am and finally got inside at 1:11pm I had my 2 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter with me we arrived at 8:05am only to go through the same drama as last year they were totally unorganized with the sign in slips and ticket numbers the security guards were showing favoritism to the people they personally knew letting them in omg I really think mr.flarick is all about media attention by the time we got inside myself n grandkids were very cold n tired hungry n they were having food catered in to them but not one cup of anything hot or food for the people who was outside for hours but this is a church I felt so bad there were many children crying n had also needed to go-to the restroom but was refused by security the security officers stated once u get inside n receive your gift u can then go to the restroom omg really who's in control of things I would not recommend this church for a toy drive.

The person mr or mrs cox....should be ashamed that at most catholic churches we pray for the world...which i believe and do, but not speak of the ppl in chicago that live w guns on there streets and ppl dying. TO say he is speaking out on anti gun rhetoric....are you serious...do u have any idea of the racial division in this city..where a white childs story is put on in seconds if even there thankfully no harm came to them... even if its an accident were nobody was hurt. But nothing on most cases of. A person of color getting shoot by police or missing child or teen goes missing, that gets ten seconds of media if coverage, sometimes after days. We need to make gun control more laxed!!!!!...so the rich feel safer and all else really doesnt matter right. Its our right to bear arms....oh that rhetoric...HE HAS AN OBLIGATION TO USE MASS TO MAKE US AWARE OF WHATS HAPPENING TO THIS CITY..HE HAS HELPED THE COMMUNITY MORE THAN ANY POLITICIAN. IT IS THERE PLATFORM TO SPEAK ...PRIESTS. SO YOU WANT TO HEAR SAME HUM DRUM MASS OR DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THAT THIS CHURCH IS FIGHTING TO SAVE LIVES. NON VIOLENTLY...WHAT DO WE HAVE THEN. OUR VOICE !!!!###AND TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE LISTENING TO REALITY JUST FURTHER LETS ME KNOW. YOU BELONG WERE YOU CAN BE COMFY... You dont belong here. There are great churches in gated communities where you can get your standard mass and feel good you went before you brunch. The parishioners are ppl WHO NOT ONLY STAND BY HIM BUT KNOW HE HAS STOOD BY THE NEIGHBORHOOD. Thru thick and thin. You are shameful.
