Spent 6 days there with some rough surgery complications. St. Pete's saved my life, gave me all options to consider from knowledgeable caring staff, gave me phone charger when mine died, immediately had docs from various specialties when needed, food was SO good, free park for same day drivers, fast check in, paid my taxi home late night over 2 hrs. away with constant communication til wee hours due to some transportation issues so THANKS Emmanuel for being instrumental in getting me home safe going WAY above beyond, have some AMAZING, caring know their stuff calming nurses, staff, docs who are there with you and for you 24 7 365 for any physical, financial or emotional needs, heck a tech nurse who didn't know how far I lived instantly offered to pay my ride; others followed up to see how I was. Sucks to have to be in hospitals but can't go wrong with this one! Free TV/phone.
Theride.com long distance taxi and Donald were also crucial in getting me home. Donald was calm caring, asked if I wanted snacks, great convo or quiet and made 100% sure I was home safe while going nearly 5 hrs. out of his way. Can't thank you enough!

Didn't give a 1 because at least I didn't die while under their care, if you break a bone or have a non life threatening emergency it's probably worth driving a few hours elsewhere. It took 7 hours to be admitted for a broken ankle to be told there was no one in to consult if I needed surgery and to come back in the AM. I could have Amazon Primed crutches for $65 and had the same experience that ended up costing over $1000 with insurance.

The MD was very competent. The nurse I had seemed competent but I was there for 7 hours and saw her when my IV went in and when it came out. it seemed no one cared about the patients. I asked 4 different nurses questions each said I'll find out and not one returned with an answer. The person who brought me had to stay in the cold parking garage for hours because Albany was unknown to us and no one is allowed in the hospital while waiting. You can't even get a drink of water. I'm told St. Peter's used to be a good hospital with a caring staff. Not any more.

I had a wonderful experience & highly recommend this hospital. From the moment I arrived the staff was kind & caring. Everyone came in & introduced themself & told me what they were going to do.
The staff on the Orthopedic Floor were all wonderful.
The hospital itself is immaculate.

The ICU staff were very attentive and caring. They kept our family well informed on what to expect next in the care of our family member. They were patient and gave us the time and space we needed to make important care choices. RN Cutis and the Pulmonary team were available for counseling as questions arose. Thank you for the great service and patience with our family during a difficult time.

I had a very pleasant experience at St. Peter s during my recent admission. The doctors, nurses, techs as well as imaging department was simply fantastic. The doctors did some thorough analysis on my condition just to ensure I m all well. Special thanks to Tech Anna and Nurse Mike from ER. Being in the ER is so stressful but they both went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care. Nurse Tashiana and Andromeda and tech Jen you guys are amazing too! Thank you for attentively looking after me while I stayed at room 4219. Nurse Andromeda I felt so lucky to have you taking care of me. Thank you so so much for every little care you have given me. Truly hope St. Peter s management read this and notices your names. The hospital is lucky to have you all! God bless you for your dedications!

My hands went purple from restraints. I requested reading glasses. I wanted to look at a magazine and a nurse did that to me! Doing that did not make me happy. I wish my daughter did not become a nurse. Life could be shorter fir me and I would be elated! I was placed here by seedy from New York. I met seedy when I was a baby.

It Sucks. It takes forever to get admitted. They don't have beds to accommodate patients. So many people are sitting in waiting room to get their chance. It's supposed to be the areas largest hospital and have such a bad emergency room services. Serious patients might die before getting any medical service. Patients are waiting more than 4 hours. This is general emergency during pandemic. It is a shame even third world countries have better access to emergency room. Supposed to be fast and efficient.

I had such a wonderful experience with all three doctors and their staff - surgeon, chemo and radiation. i didn't give a 5 star because my major complaint is their billing system. $25 owed and it was sent it to collection agency to threaten me. No call or letter to inform me of my balance owed. I paid my bill another time and next month it still appears as owing but this time it's the collection agencies calling. Somebody needs to have them sort their billing n collection policies. Thank goodness I always take note of my time, date and amount paid. Got to keep record with them and their billing. "Warning make sure and check your account". After querying my already paid bill I learned that the collection agency had a bill for a mammogram from 2017 owing. I always had insurance so now i have to go find proof of why this wasn't paid.
