They should have left Rev. Rice alone and we wouldn't have all that mess downtown help the man out and Rehab his building so he could house people that's what should have happened. All they are worried about downtown up downtown is money they wanted his building is building just to make some loft apartments so people wouldn't see people in need outside their window

I've worked for this agency for almost a year. I can honestly say it's the best agency I've worked for since my six years of being out of school. Just so the public is aware, we are not a full-time shelter. We have resources that are internal, or can refer to other public agencies. We do currently have a women's night-time shelter, and give out free lunch to the community. St Patrick Center has an excellent reputation with the St. Louis metro area, and from my experience I can see why.

The website say 8am to 1pm but they go to lunch from 12 to 1. I get there at 11:25 & they tell me I have to be here & line up at 7:30am or 12:30pm. I just paid for parking for nothing. They should put this info on the web page so people know & don't waste time & money. I took of work to come down here I'm a single father raising my son my landlord raised the rent & I'm in a real bind. Thanks for wasting my time.

We went to donate my Dad's clothes last Thursday. He was always very particular about his things, especially his clothes. We pulled up to the back and I began to unload. A very polite young man came out to help me. He carefully laid his clothes in the cart. This was the last big job we had to do. I'm very touched by this young man's demeanor. He said he had just started working there. Mom and I left knowing that Daddy's things will help somebody.
