This was a great place for the humanities until they nixed all the humanities and offered zero support for any of the students in those fields. It's a shame, because some of the professors are really excellent. In addition to all that, here are some common general complaints: the school does nothing about sexual assault cases and actively shelters abusers in some cases. There are some key services (such as a shopping shuttle that helps students pick up groceries) that actively don't run anymore, but the school never communicated to students that this was the case (in my case, that left some of my friends struggling to eat for several weeks while they figured out new accomodations). The different departments (e.g. IT, Student Support Services...) never communicate, which means it can take hours to get anything fixed if there's a mistake on your student account. The dorms, unsurprisingly, are very dirty and unpleasant.

Clean, neat clean air love it. I saw some people fishing.

Last week was the first time we visited this place. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the excellent service, with the fine cuisine and wine and with the friendly charge. We will surely come back soon.

St. Mary's College a total waste of money. Go to community college, they actually care if you're placed in the right class & won't bilk your $$. The student support staff, administrators (Deans) & professors did nothing to help, and we lost every penny. They're heartless & have zero compassion. Professors pull favorites & flunk struggling kids. Dorm is disgusting with roaches. Don't go here!

I loved the service, the pizza was good, really Italian and authentic. The waiter Jonatha was really helpful and volunteered to reheat my last two slices of fortezza pizza. I just think they could reconsider the live music, as the saxophone can be a questionable option nowadays. Recommend it!

Our daughters attend college here - full disclosure. One of the best educations for the money and beautiful campus.

Phenomenal educational institution with amazing community events and superb musical entertainment of all kinds!

A favorite spot to escape to for the River Concert Series and other art/music events. A hidden gem in the greater DC area. Our oldest daughter went here for BA and MAT. Who needs Harvard when you have St Mary's College of Maryland at a fraction of the price??? Seriously, it's THAT good.

This past June, I attended the Chesapeake Writers Conference at St. Mary s College of Maryland. From what I saw online, it looked like exactly the conference I was hoping to attend. I have a Master s degree in creative writing and was looking forward to a professional development opportunity. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I learned that I would be working mostly with undergraduate students who were attending the conference for free. I was asked to help mentor them. I just want to make other writers aware so that they can avoid the situation I found myself in.
