I love this theater. Seats are comfy. Plays are exceptionally good especially this year. But went on a Monday night and the demography is 70 average. I felt like a new born: )

I visited this theatre for the first time to see Rigoletto last month and was highly impressed. The set design was fantastic! The costumes were lovely and intriguing. The acting and singing talent was amazing! Since the words are often hard to understand in opera, the theatre displays the lines as they are sung, in English, on subtle digital signs on each side of the stage. Brilliant!! After the show, the audience was given a chance to meet the actors and actresses in a reception in the beautiful garden in front of the theatre. Truly a memorable occasion!
This was a magical experience. The imaginative sets and the lovely Edwardian costumes helped to transform this traditional and play to something compelling in modern, charming way!
The theatre was lovely. Saw Mojada: a Medea in Los Angeles. Very well done. Lovely set. Nice costumes, splendid actors.
I have been a season ticket holder for decades now and have absolutely loved my experience at the Rep until this year. Unfortunately the quality of acting has slipped and the theater doesn t have the professional feel it once had. Sadly I will be giving the Rep one more season to rectify itself before I make a decision to keep or give up my hard earned front row seats.
Excellent experience. Saw Pride and Prejudice here recently. Easy free nearby parking, great theater size (not too big but not too small) with quality shows. Seats are spacious enough. The sets, artistry, and lighting effects were spectacular. Very fun theater experience. I look forward to coming back again soon!
Nice show in a beautiful theater with good sound. We really enjoyed the play!
The play was called Alabama story it was outstanding. It was an interesting story it was absolutely relevant to the time that we are in now and it was extremely well produced. The set was absolutely wonderful and the story was really good. I'm going back on Monday night they are having an open house with the playwright. This conversation will be free of charge and I am confident very educational. Also had dinner that was somewhat disappointing. The flavor wasn't bad but the food wasn't hot. I should have thought about the possibility that that would be true and ordered a sandwich or or Salad something that didn't require good temperature. After all the food is prepared elsewhere by catering company and brought to the wrap and then kept them warm and served when you arrive. It is not prepared to order and that makes all the difference when you're trying to get food of a certain temperature so I order chicken and that wasn't a good idea. However being able to eat in the lobby of the theater before the show is an excellent idea it is so good to be able to go directly to the theater have you dinner Park once not have to worry about the time and weather that you going to get to the theater in time for the opening depending on service and that was joyful.
The opera "Fire Shut Up in My Bones" was wonderful. I was siting on the edge of my seat most of the evening. Kasi Lemons and Terrence Blanchard wrote a beautiful and at time terrifying libretto from the book written by. Charles M. Blow. Opera Theater Saint Louis should be very proud of this offering and how masterfully it's presented. Bravo!
Multiple theaters. No such thing as a bad seat in the house. Awesome lineup year after year.
