About St. louis integrated health network
St. Louis Integrated Health Network (IHN) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to building a stronger safety net for a healthier and more equitable St. Louis. The organization was founded in 2012 with the aim of improving access to healthcare services for underserved populations in the region.
At IHN, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their income or social status. We work tirelessly to ensure that all members of our community have access to the care they need, when they need it.
Our mission is simple: To improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities in the St. Louis region by strengthening the capacity of community health centers and other safety net providers.
We achieve this mission through a variety of programs and initiatives designed to support our partner organizations and improve access to care for those who need it most.
One such program is our Community Health Worker (CHW) program, which trains individuals from underserved communities as CHWs who can provide culturally appropriate outreach, education, and support services to their peers.
We also offer technical assistance and training programs designed specifically for community health centers, helping them build capacity and improve their ability to provide high-quality care.
In addition, we work closely with local policymakers and stakeholders on issues related to healthcare policy and advocacy. Our goal is not only to improve access to care but also address systemic issues that contribute to poor health outcomes in our community.
At IHN, we are proud of what we have accomplished so far but recognize there is still much work left do. We remain committed every day towards building a stronger safety net for a healthier St. Louis – one where everyone has equal access quality healthcare services regardless of their background or financial situation.
