St. Joseph Living Center Review

Wow! How management has changed don t know how those people work there! I would never return to this dump have u seen who they put in as administrator???? What a joke!!!!

Went for therapy and found it to be a great experience. The people and care were outstanding and extremely friendly. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this facility to anyone.

When I reported something that should have never happened, the facility then proceeded to have the 2nd shift nursing supervisors harass me, repeatedly. It is an awful environment and nobody works together. This facility is a joke and they probably write the reviews on their website themselves.The DON cares more abouf t their reputation than protecting the employees. They do not take reports of harassment or anything seriously and would rather sweep it under the rug to protect their reputation, rather then actually do anything about the reports. I have heard horror stories from many others who used to work there as well. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

My grandmother who had a hard time with balance was left alone on a scale, fell broke both ankles and we were not notified. Didnt know until 2 days later when we visited. Over the past years before her passing she couldn t walk at all due to ill treatment. She also reported she was scared of some of the staff because they were rough and impatient

I can t say enough about how wonderful St. Joseph s Living Center is! Both my parents are here and absolutely love their new home. They talk highly about how great the nursing staff is and they LOVE the food here. I even went in for a birthday lunch for my mom and could not get over how delicious the meal was. My parents also talk about how much better they feel after going through the Rehab routine. Their room is very clean and their clothes always are clean and fresh. The other thing I have notice is when you first walk into St. Joseph s it smells clean. It does not smell of urine or feces at all. The Administator there in the facility is a very special and wonderful woman who truly cares about all the residents and her staff. I have been in many nursing homes in my life and St. Joseph s is at the very top ... it really can t get any better than this nursing home. My parents love it and I know they are well taken care of and loved here by all the staff. I HIGHLY recommend St. Joseph s Living Center to anyone looking for a safe and caring place to bring their loved one.

St. Joseph Living Center is a gem in Windham and to anyone who is in need of rehabilitation or long term care. Both my parents have moved into St. Joe's and they absolutely love it there. Their room is clean, the staff is attentive to their needs and requests and the food is outstanding- I don't recall them ever saying they had a bad meal. When I visit my parents, the facility is always clean and bright and odor free. While walking the halls with my parents the staff knows them by name, asks them if they are having a good day and just acknowledging them in a very positive manner- Seeing my parents interact with the staff and walk away with smiles on their face is priceless. My parents receive prompt and effective medical attention and once again, by staff that are both professionally competent and sympathetic. This positive and welcoming environment doesn't just happen- it starts with a caring and effective administrator who fosters a culture of quality and caring. As my parents frequently say- " we didn't move to a nursing home, we moved to a living center" and we couldn't be happier. I would recommend St. Joe's to anyone who needs the services they provide.
