St Georges Crypt (registered Charity/Homeless) Review

There's too much to put on here why I hate this place!!
Greedy, non caring staff! I'd give it 0 stars if possible!

Considering how they care for the homeless people from what I've seen and they definitely do not care about their staff. It heartbreaking the lives they've ruined. The staff have been nothing but lovely to me when I've come but I can't support them anymore. I used to always come because the staff made me feel so welcome but too they've let off too many good people.

They assist the 'needy', for an Honest review; wait for my book, all is Not what it seems.... Regulaly overshadows St Anne's excellent non judgmental approach and Support to the homeless.

Visited here while attending a conference. Lovely staff caring daily for the hungry and homeless. Showing God's love and grace while giving the gospel of Jesus and practical advice on housing and benefits.

This is not a charity! They profit from homelessness!!

The staff are really friendly and do not judge this place is closed to visitors at present but serve a meal for the homeless and vulnerable people at dinner. This place has been a massive help to me in the past when I was homeless and an addict they have supported me throughout every step of the way and are still there for me any time.

It's heart breaking that somewhere like this needs to exist, but alas. They do a great job, especially when it's all stacked against them. Homelessness in Leeds seems to be getting out of hand recently... Very modern inside and they appear to have utilised the space well. Staff know how to handle themselves and handle situations that get out of control.

I worked with a good friend of mine in the late 1980s opened my eyes to what is around us and still is unemployment rough sleepers drug addicts alcoholics mental health ..we will always need such places the staff are so dedicated and passionate in their support

Saved my life . Saved me from the cold streets. Truly grateful .

When I was homeless and pregnant the staff r so respectful and relaxed me when I became stress wi other members people who donated for god bless em if I was ever homeless again I know my first place will be here

When I was homeless 2 last year 2019 ago. That s staff help me get council Ofer temporary flat rent until I was bids for waiting 6 month for got flat of me. I m very happy. Thank you for support me. They re know I am full deaf.

Nice little place in the heart of Leeds that do some good work for the community

Many years ago, I was a resident at the Crypt, & also went to some of the church services where clients from the Crypt were mixed in with the regular congregations, no airs & graces just honest Christian acceptance.

A place that people on the breadline and under go here for food and shelter. The crypt is lovely. The staff are all volunteers. They do really good work. Feed and clothe a d shelter the homeless and poor. Great passion from all who work there.

I rated this 5 stars because I was homeless and just come out of hospital and they took me in for 3 months fed me gave me a bed and helped me find a flat of my own ile always be grateful to the crypt for what they did for me

Fery good place help's the homeless with food and shelter and those on a low income highly recomend this plase saved my life

Absolutely love what this place does for those in need . Will help out when needed again
