Considering how they care for the homeless people ...

Considering how they care for the homeless people from what I've seen and they definitely do not care about their staff. It heartbreaking the lives they've ruined. The staff have been nothing but lovely to me when I've come but I can't support them anymore. I used to always come because the staff made me feel so welcome but too they've let off too many good people.

They assist the 'needy', for an Honest review; wait for my book, all is Not what it seems.... Regulaly overshadows St Anne's excellent non judgmental approach and Support to the homeless.

The staff are really friendly and do not judge this place is closed to visitors at present but serve a meal for the homeless and vulnerable people at dinner. This place has been a massive help to me in the past when I was homeless and an addict they have supported me throughout every step of the way and are still there for me any time.

It's heart breaking that somewhere like this needs to exist, but alas. They do a great job, especially when it's all stacked against them. Homelessness in Leeds seems to be getting out of hand recently... Very modern inside and they appear to have utilised the space well. Staff know how to handle themselves and handle situations that get out of control.

Many years ago, I was a resident at the Crypt, & also went to some of the church services where clients from the Crypt were mixed in with the regular congregations, no airs & graces just honest Christian acceptance.

About St Georges Crypt (registered Charity/Homeless)

St Georges Crypt is a registered charity based in Leeds, UK that provides care, compassion and hope to the homeless, vulnerable and those suffering from addiction. The organization has been serving the community for over 90 years and operates 365 days a year.

The charity was founded in 1930 by Father Lupton who saw the need to provide shelter and support for those who were struggling with homelessness. Since then, St Georges Crypt has grown into an organization that offers a range of services to help people get back on their feet.

One of the key services provided by St Georges Crypt is emergency accommodation. The charity operates two hostels in Leeds which provide safe and secure accommodation for up to 60 people each night. This service is available all year round and helps ensure that no one has to sleep rough on the streets.

In addition to emergency accommodation, St Georges Crypt also offers longer-term supported housing for those who need it. This service provides individuals with their own self-contained flat or bedsit along with access to support workers who can help them address any issues they may be facing such as addiction or mental health problems.

Another important aspect of St Georges Crypt's work is its food provision service. The charity operates a daily drop-in centre where anyone can come for a hot meal, regardless of their circumstances. In addition, the organization runs a food bank which provides essential groceries to those in need.

St Georges Crypt also offers employment training programmes designed to help people gain new skills and find work. These programmes include catering training courses as well as opportunities for work experience within the charity's own social enterprises such as its cafe or furniture restoration workshop.

The charity relies heavily on donations from individuals and businesses in order to fund its vital work. There are many ways that people can get involved including volunteering at one of St George's Crypt's centres or making a donation online via their website.

Overall, St George's Crypt plays an essential role in supporting some of society's most vulnerable members by providing them with practical assistance alongside emotional support when they need it most. With over nine decades' worth of experience behind them, this registered UK-based Charity/Homeless organisation continues its mission today - offering care compassion & hope every day throughout every season!
