I give the doctors, surgeon and nurses in ICU five stars! They were so attentive to my husband and he left feeling very well taken care of. The surgeon was A+ and we knew we were in good hands.
The only complaint I have is the receptionist in the lobby. Ilysia. I got a call from the surgeon asking if he could speak with me, so I started running towards the elevator, not knowing what I was going to hear. Ilysia stopped me, after knowing who I was and that my husband was having surgery, and made me painstakingly wait for her to write out a visitor s pass and was so rude when I asked her to please hurry. She needs another job - she s not a people person.

I spent 13 hours in the E.R. waiting to be seen. (THIRTEEN hours!) When Finally called back I had another 2 hour wait just to be told there was nothing that could be done. I have swollen legs and feet with sores developing on my feet. The E.R staff wasn't very friendly. Nine patients walked out because of the wait. That's no way to run an E.R. People would not be there if they weren't needing help.
I did my part, seeking help.

I went to their ER on Christmas Eve in terrible pain from a back injury. The room I was put in was a converted closet. It was nasty. It reminded me more of a public restroom than an hospital room. I was in so much pain I couldn't get in the position lay down. I wanted to sit but the chair in the room looked like someone had urinated in it so I was forced to lean against the bed for over an hour until I was finally taken for x-rays. It was an excruciatingly long wait for the second rate care I received. Then I was billed an insanely high amount. They did not bill my insurance company although they had all my information. It's 4 months later and I'm still trying to get them to bill BCBS so I can pay my part. I call at least twice a month and get the same run around. No one takes ownership of the problem. And does anyone ever clean these rooms? If you're in need of care do yourself a favor and go to another hospital.

Do not go to their emergency room. You are wasting your time. Their ER is pointless. You will have difficulty of breathing and dropping O2 sats and they will let you wait in the waiting room. There is no system. They are very disorganized. My mother in law is feeling she is collapsing and the nurse the front desk of the ER would not give her attention. I am a medical professional myself and I try my best to be understanding but they do not care. You wait. What is the point of triaging if you aren t given the attention that you are supposed to get

I love the people at this hospital most are vary professional and caring . They have taken care of me and continue to do so to this date . I had a cancer scare and they are still standing strong with me even after my insurance dropped me . I am slowly putting my life back together with new insurance and will always come back for my medical needs

We dreaded having to go to the ER because of covid. They checked you for covid symptoms before allowing us in. The waiting room was clean and we were seen within 15 minutes. Dr. Aron was the most thorough doctor we have ever seen. Nurse Gerianna was competent and attentive. Thank you St. Dominic for hiring compassionate, professional people.

It is a very nice facility that is easy to navigate to. There is an information desk as soon as you walk into the building and the representative is extremely helpful and nice. I was directed to the floor and room number of where my procedure was. The medical staff were very professional and caring and I'm very appreciative of the level of care provided here.

Nearly everyone I talk to about hospitals that knows of St. Dominics, say not to go here. I would recommend going here only if you have no other choice. The staff generally seems over worked and exhausted. This made my mother s experience a bad one with lots of waiting with no one really caring for her. To top it off they messed up and have over billed her and said it s too late to apply her insurance. When she brought them the insurance information when she was there. I would not go here.

My experience at St. Dominics wasn t bad. I do remember my sweet caring nurse in the ER Chrissle, she deserves a raise or some type of reward because she went above and beyond. She made me feel very comfortable and I didn t even know her. I also want to thank my nurse assistant from the second floor that I was moved to, her name is Kayla. She really did a great job as well and deserves a raise or reward. The nurse working with her that night was also good I don t remember her name, Emma was good as well. The doctors that came to talk to me about my condition were very thorough. Thank you all at St. Dominics

One star because you have to leave one. These people do not care about people at all. The employees there in the Er are very unprofessional and show more care at all. This is not due to covid. it has been horrible for years. They have left my dad sitting in a chair hard chair for hours now. he is a brittle diabetic hasn't eaten anything in over 2 days because it can't hold anything down it is not have covid he's been tested but they still don't do nothing. and dont seem to worry that even with no food his blood sugar is over 300
