Thursday around 1:15 pm, broken wrist and severe concussion. Glad no brain bleed as we sat in the waiting room for 5 hours before getting seen. Walked out to our car around 9pm. Saw a guy come in with chest pain and he left after 3 hours of not being seen. This place is a glorified urgent care, better off going elsewhere for care.
Unfortunately, I wouldn t consider this place for emergency care if I could give zero stars I would My husband and I arrived at around 6pm on Monday afternoon for me to be seen due to lower pelvic pain while I m pregnant. There was over 20 people waiting in the emergency waiting room. As no one was being called in, I could see the frustration coming from the sick patient faces. A man that was sitting besides us mentioned that he has been waiting over 5 hours to be seen and as we were sitting there I over heard another women saying she s been waiting 7 HOURS?!! & to only have the receptionist confirm that it would be another hour before those sick patients would be seen. This is extremely unexpectable. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE FOR THESE LONG WAITING TIMES IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. My husband and I decided to go else where for emergency treatment and I m so happy we did. Please reconsider before going into this emergency center.
If you come in with heart issues or are near death, I m sure the care is fine. Anything else, you might as well ask them to put you on the payroll, as you ll be putting in a very long shift in the waiting room. My husband was terribly sick and retching loudly, and we had to sit for more than 3 hours before we got a room. And e edginess had to listen to this. Yet patients who were obviously comfortable got called in ahead many times. The hospital needs to do something about these ridiculous wait times. Look how many complaints there are regarding this issue. Simply unacceptable.
My boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident and I met him there he got taken back to get his vitals and X-rays for an hour then was placed back into the waiting room. Sat there for another 2 hours watched 3 people come in get taken back sent to lobby then got a room. My boyfriend has a shattered ankle and was bleeding from both his knees his right leg has a gash in it and they wouldn t even give him any pain meds or Tylenol or anything. The St. Cloud hospital is a joke. If your in an actual emergency go to Monticello hospital or paynesville hospital they actually take your pain seriously. Drove the 30 minutes to get to Monticello hospital and they took us in right away and are doing something about the pain.
E.R intake and triage,you get two thumbs down on this one, BIG TIME. Me and my wife have never been treated so poorly in our lives. This department needs work and they should be ashamed! I will be honest though, after this part of the process we were treated good and I Wana give a big shout out to dr. Winter and his nurse Caroline. You both did an excellent job at treating my wife. Thank you. I wish my whole experience could have been that' nice.
Brought someone to E.R. for mental and chemical abuse issues. Was told he would be kept overnight for observation. After threats of violence towards staff and concerns of suicide by staff, this person was deemed fit to leave by a supposed mental health nurse less than 2 hrs later. Almost immediately after release, he physically attacked someone and has been in jail since. Jail is NOT what was needed when help was begged for. I'm sure the hospital and staff would claim no responsibility for kicking someone in mental distress back out. After all, helping those that are sick isn't a hospital or doctor's job right?
Cant help with pain if your hurt. Better off putting yourself out of your misery they tell you to do the same thing that you couldve been doing for days. Not recommended.

I don't get the bad reviews!! This is a wonderful hospital with great Dr. ,Surgeons, nurses.. and staff.. STOP being so negative. This place saved my life. I had the greatest staff and medical care.. not one person disappointed me while i was here. And have been here a few times in the past 5 years.. . If you think you could do such a better then go back to school and make a difference.. in the mean time be greatful you have your health. Think more positive
Delivered my beautiful little boy on the 22nd and all of the nurses were/are amazing!! Reassured me that i was doing well even when i was in a lot of pain, have checked on me and helped me so much and are constantly asking if we need anything else, etc. This is my first time having a baby and it has been such an amazing experience!! Thank you to all of the nurses on my care team and the workers in the cafeteria
