St. Clair Shores Public Library Review

I remember getting my first library card. I was so short I could not see over the counter. The card was so advanced it looking like a white credit card. It has amazing. It had nothing on the card, nothing at all. It was just a white futuristic plastic card. I was so proud to have been allowed to be apart of the Library. I loved the children's programs. Being read to and puppet shows. I loved it. We had our own section to sit on the floor and look for the perfect book.
I still go to this Library I pick up most of my holds here- Clinton Macomb withstanding.
The staff is so amazing. They are all very knowledgeable. They are always ready to help. They are considerate of your privacy with any questions asked or topics. I like this Library. I find the reading chairs a little uncomfortable. But that's because you cant wrap up in a blanket and snuggle your cat.
All in all easy parking, Nice drive on Jefferson, Great people!

I was doing homework at a library desk when a worker told me I had to leave due to routine cleaning.
I asked her why the space couldn t be cleaned once I was finished using the area, and the older lady responded in a rude tone stating:
I don t make the rules around here.
If I need to do homework I should be able to access the local library. Schooling online is not easy and having a change of scenery is refreshing.
Places to study such as Starbucks and Panera are CLOSED. It is not uncommon to do homework at the LIBRARY and they are open everyday. I cannot believe they kicked me out with my homework incomplete.

Every once in a while I would stop in the gift shop/ coffee vendor, take a walk on the boardwalk or see the nearby museaum and house. Like the selection and layout. Would gladly like to return anytime

It's a great little library and don't forget the pool behind it.

I have much love for the library! I love their book sales and they always have new releases. Don t under estimate a library used book sale, the prices are great!

The employees at the St. Clair Library help when ever they can with great courtesy. It's such a pleasure to go there.

Great place, great service and very nice people. The only thing that bothered me is that they don t have every book that I would like to read.

Books, magazines and video rentals are available. Free wifi.

Very serene calm setting to kick back & read or study in. I would give 5 stars but just like many other places there's always room for improvement...

I don t check out books very often, but when I do and return them on time, I get a text or phone call stating they are missing the book I returned and charging me for it. This has happened to me 4 times in the last 2 years. I will not be checking out books here again. It s sad that they are taking advantage of some people in the community in this way.

Excellent customer service, help finding anything you need, always smiling and friendly. Absolutely love this Library.

Very nice people. One can always get help from customer service. When a book is not available they order it from different one. Favourite place to sit and read. Book sales are a great plus.
