All the nurses are very kind and the triage nurses are just amazing! They are the same ones every time I go there (many health problems) and they are just the sweetest people. The staff is always trying to try to move things along as quickly and efficiently as possible. Very clean and sanitary. The doctors do their job the correct way any treat every case based on each patient. Of course there are some workers who are not very kind, maybe they're stressed or having issues of they're own but, every hospital has some of those. Equipment is up to date and everyone makes sure you're comfortable and informed on anything that needs to be done.

I work healthcare and I was impressed with the quality of care I received. ER staff was attentive, listened to my symptoms and took care of me. The nurse that started my IV was great (sorry I don't remember her name) and my nurse Cody was very good, confident and pleasant. Can't ask for much more. Thanks for all of your help!

Nurses are polite and are helpful especially when I was dropping off clothes and such for my mother in the ICU. Though the staff is nice they allowed someone to take my mom's stuff to "wish her laundry" did not ID them before letting them take off with a brand new blanket and all her other stuff. When the issue was brought up absolutely nothing was done about it. I was half tempted to request a police investigation because I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened. Actually, a woman was caught stealing from local laundry mats in Effingham, so maybe if you don't allow people in the building you could at the very least ID the people who say they are getting their loved ones things !

You have to fight to get any help from this place. The ER here has been a joke for years. The malpractice that takes place here is responsible for a lot of deaths and hardships on people in the area. If you dont take action to make sure your treated properly you will suffer for it. This hospital needs shut down, gutted, and a new start with all new staff in the ER and surgery.
