Nothing but positive things to say about our family doctor, her locums, and another doctor we have seen at the Health Centre. All very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Both our GP and the other doctor we have had great experiences with are still at the SSI Health Centre. Only poor experience we've had is with a doctor while we were at ER, and he is no longer at the clinic, he left when the King's Lane clinic split up.
While my wife and I had a great experience with our midwife through the clinic we unfortunately have nothing positive to report with regard to the care we received following the transfer from our midwife to a physician. When we requested that we be assigned a new physician based on concerns regarding the welfare of our baby and ourselves we were informed that we were no longer patients at the clinic. Extremely disappointing.
Do not use the office if you need consistent and quality care. I am forced to use emergency medication in result to this office not answering their phones and being unresponsive to faxes from pharmacies asking for my prescriptions I need after I was told this would not be an issue.
Dr. Verhaigh was an insensative and authoritarian person. He took away my drivers licence because l missed one appointment and said l had a medical problem.
I would never go to see him again.l would also never reccommend him to anyone.
I was also on the ferry and overheard another person saying he was a terrible doctor and also would never see him again.
Had a very good experience with this clinic till Dr. Barclay left. After that received very dismissive doctors who were very arrogant, lacked follow through and struggled with communication skills . EXTREMELY poor quality of care combined with little knowledge and experience of paediatric illness.
The clinic is very poor in their dealings with clients. No opportunity to share your experience, was told this is not an option at their clinic, take what you get or leave the clinic. Very unprofessional in their response to patient care and concerns.
