Terrible company, horrible customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I'm trying to do a cash out refin broker deal for two months now, I've given them everything and more... they practically want the shirt of my back and my first born. Horrible, Horrible. Horrible.
The worst experience in my entire life! The word unprofessional is understatement for Sprouts Mortgage. It took months for underwriting staff get an approval for a simple refinance ( 3 to be exact). They will get to you back with the most unreasonable request without any knowledge about simple basics like when the tax is due because all the underwriting is outsourced to India and these geniuses have no idea about rules in USA!!! After months of putting up with their unreasonable requests I took my business to other bank that had in house underwriting and made a decision in 25 days!
We found them posting false information on their website saying they give certain types of loans based on credit ratings they post - but it turned out they were lying - they said they "did not know" the phony numbers were posted on their own website. Then through a sleazy lawyer, they said to us that they "had the right to correct the website", well that was after they damaged our credit rating. This company is real trash. Real trash. A bad news outfit. Sleaze on trash on scum. crooked bankers, basically.
I could not be more impressed with the knowledge, level of professionalism as well as product selection available from Sprout and our POC John Pipes.. Through the process an issue from an escrow increase by my former mortgage company was uncovered, and they navigated right through it. I had spoken to others who kept saying no problem....But John and the Sprout team were the ones who met it head on. As a small business owner, traditional lenders are difficult to say the least. Not Sprout they understood and made it happen....Looking for a loan to purchase that dream home...CALL JOHN PIES at Sprout.
