Spotlight 29 Casino Review

Traveled to the casino for a concert and was truly impressed with the casino. The main floor is nice and spacious. Plenty of areas to drink and dine. The concert venue is large and has wonderful acoustics.

We took friends for breakfast. Have menu only option for daily breakfast. Prices high for quality served. Hardly anyone there. If don't get their act together don't see how they can keep space open. Need a smart food service director to bring menu out of the doldrums. Innovation needed instead of the tired items offered

Excelent games and food, with great valet parking service.

Went to bathroom put money in pushed max bet won $200 .

Great place has a non-smoking place and the slot machines if you pay

I had the buffet for the first time, was a little dissatisfied with the variety of food offered..but I loved the casino.

Buffet was fantastic. Included decent prime rib and was only $9.99 for lunch or dinner, with plenty of other good food as well. Best buffet I've had at this price point in a long time.

The Buffet here is amazing. Reasonable pricing and the food is wonderful.

I've tried many times to make an online reservation for JEM. Same ole' story, it says it doesn't' work to call them. Why don't you fix it?

Its a casino out in the middle of nowhere. It looks the same as any other. Besides I went there with a group for the buffet and I don't even like buffets.

The cafe is open with above fair pricing on all items and great portions, excellent servers.

The sign up promotion needs to be updated. We went with the idea that it would be like every other casino in southern California, only to find that they were in the process of figuring out their new member sign up rewards... Other than that, this casino is hot right now! One of the only casinos in the Coachella valley that is. Everyone else seems to only be taking deposits. But spotlight 29 has fair gaming that isn't afraid to throw a jackpot or two out almost every night. The date is July 2nd, I hope that when you here it continues to pay out for you too! Good luck!

Astheticly pleasing, but bogus advertising. Or operating anyway. I got off the interstate which I'm rarely through to take advantage of their sign-up. A significant amount was advertised. It apparently does not apply though unless you come during the hours they are OPEN. Yes it is 24 hours. But apparently the players club customer service windows close between 12-8 A.M. So I got off the interstate and hiked in for pretty much nothing. More than happy to spend my money but not in a place that cannot make good on their sign-up bonus. I will not likely be back. If a casino is open 24 hrs then all services save the restaurants need to function to some level.

I see management responds to praise but rarely dissolution. So I don't really expect an answer I'm afraid. :(

My wife and I are extremely disappointed that Spotlight 29 does not care enough for their customers to notify everyone that the buffet will be closed from June 8 to June 13. We drove from Riverside to redeem two complimentary birthday buffets only to find the buffet closed for "maintenance". No mention of the closure is on their web site or on Facebook. Ended up dining at Fantasy Springs.

Great time. More bonuses than Morongo, able to get your own fountain drinks, sodas don't make you sick, and very friendly staff.

I've been her a couple of times and totally enjoyed being here. It's a little bit of a drive for me, but both times, I had a good time and can't wait to go back.

It was our first time at this casino, overall a nice Casino. They don't comp you as other casinos do the first time you request a player's card. A few days later in the mail I did receive a $10 comp that could be used if I returned that month. Which was good.

Very nice local casino. A good variety of machines. Parking is ample and they have good entertainment.

Very disappointed with the way we were treated when we went for the advertised prime rib dinner. We were told it would be $18.99 since it was a holiday. This was Friday evening and they stated it was for Mother's Day. Yes, it does state except for holidays however the holiday was Sunday. They then stated to come back on Saturday and it would be the advertised 9.99. When inquiring which holiday they were observing they stated. Mexican Mother's Day. The last time I checked a map, California was still part of the United States. We were in town from Phoenix and this is the first time I experienced this type of discrimination. We will not be making Spotlight 29 a stop when we visit Palm Springs.

I would have given a higher rating if the cigarette smell wasn't sooooo horrible. There is a small no smoking section.

Great casino has truck parking which is nice and great food.

It's like all the recreational centers and besides machines swallow coins they have regular buffets food service and they do artists' events. Recognized

Been have been here many times over the last five years, and like all casinos, it's all about timing.. Tonight the house whooped my a**.. Same story as the last 6/7 times I've played there...

But bitterness aside, they have really but some money into this place and they have to have the largest selection and mix of slots in the valley... Plenty of poker, keno, old school triple 7s and more Buffalo than than the Dakota's combined... Although it seems that they sleep more than play or run with the pack these days...

They have a small high roller area, a poker room and a good indoor venue for music (and attract decent talent).. Food option suck and close early, at least the food court,, but I can't speak to the restaurant as I've never indulged....

Decent odds on poker machines, 9/5 if you are playing dollars on double / double (8/5) on quarters.. So what's the bottom line, they are putting money into the technology which will drive the industries growth for the next 20 years, but without a hotel or any other real facilities I'd put them on the bottom of my recommended list...

They are however, the last exit in Coachella Valley, so if you aren't ready to hit 10 East just yet, have already passed Fantasy and Blyth awaits you.... Why not take the Dillon Exit, for the epic Pilot truck stop??? Oh and now you are just a short mile away....

Machines are very tight you're better off going to Vegas

Good food in a buffet nice restaurants good entertainment concerts in nightclubs lots of machines to play Gamble .

The uber pop up hub was lame, unplanned, and they didn't have any uber beacons. They make your casino look bad. P.s. the buffet was nasty

The quality atmosphere projects not so plesent environment. Thru out the years it has been deteriorating. Restaurant closes early, dining experience is not enjoyable. Do sad . 29 was my favorite not do safe environment.

The only portion I can comment on is the concert area. I enjoyed seeing Justin Moore and my only wish is that there was an alternate entrance so I wouldn't have had to walk through the smoke filled casino.

Been going to Monday night football games for year and always loved the ambiance, radio station, prizes, drinks. And the food. This year, no radio station, no prizes, no drinks or food. If nothing changes won't be going back

I liked the self serve drink idea. Has a good size floor with a bunch of nickel keno, with a variety of styles of play.

Horrible food service, food is not good. Machines so tight they are bad

Not for young children, unless your there for the buffet and keep your eye on them the whole time your there. Its a big casino and, especially on weekends, its real crowded.

I really liked only the restaurant I was not pleased .. but everything else very well

Serve yourself soda machines and coffee. Best win loss ratio in ancasino that ive been to...pluss there are a few really cute drink service chicks that walk around asking if you need service haha
