We bought a tuque and pair of mitts for our 5-year-old and the total price came to over $70. These were not on the high end of the prices at the store.



If you are on a budget, however, DEFINITELY avoid this store. You'll find less expensive for similar quality elsewhere (with a little searching).

Great staff! They made our shopping experience so ...

Great staff! They made our shopping experience so much easier. I called before coming to check stock and when we arrived with my son the penny board was already waiting for us at the pro counter. I knew nothing about skateboards and the guy gave us a complete explanation of different kinds and tweaked the board to my son's liking. Thanks for quick and easy shopping experience.

Horrible Customer service, I ordered Oakley glasses three weeks ago I call every week to see where the order is either tell me to call back or they tell me that they will call me back but they never do I cancel the order went downstairs at lens crafter and got my glasses

Was in for a ski tune up, the wait for pick up was...

Was in for a ski tune up, the wait for pick up was 2 weeks which is rediculous! Line up at the cash to pay was crazy on a Saturday but it went fairly quick with three cashiers. Would I go back, yes but would not chose a Saturday morning again!

The biggest sport expert in Montreal with assorted sports equipment and apparels. The best time for shopping is the end of each season to get premium quality stuffs up to 50% discount. The staffs are young but not necessarily knowledgeable enough to answer all your questions.

Did not want to honor a promotion on cross-country...

Did not want to honor a promotion on cross-country skis displayed in store. Despite having spoken with a supervisor. We just left the material and quit. (edit) Thanks to Sarah and Jean-Philippe for fixing the situation. A misunderstanding, corrected my 1 star to 5 for the good service, thank you!

It's one of the place where one would like to shop...

It's one of the place where one would like to shop, but constantly surprised by price tags. Quality can't be cheap, but at the same time most of the things they sell are not high-end or for professionals, it's rare when I can find something of value at this store. It can be also a huge line at checkout during busy hours, no issues with service, everyone is helpful.

I bought my nike shoes from sports experts in westisland Fairview. They had terrible customer service. I spend about $91 on the shoes I wore it maybe for 2 hrs max and returned in 2 days because it was not comfortable. The shoes were in good condition. The customer service agent told me I should have worn the shoes inside the house. I was not asking for money back, just exchange for something comfortable. They don't care about the customers.

I spent an hour with a great sales rep trying on ski goggles. He was very patient and helpful. I get to the cash and the cashier took my goggles out of the box to scan them and then I was horrified as she crunched them putting them back in. I heard a noise and cringed and hoped for no damage but when I got home I saw that she scratched them! I m rather annoyed after spending over an hour trying different goggles to now have to either deal with a small scratch on my 200$ goggles that have never been worn or the hassle to go back to a sport experts to find another pair without a scratch.

Accessible since it is at fairview, qualified staff who know everything about the store, and prices are resonable and not higher than elsewhere. There is everything in this shop and for all sports (except petanque) and the staff is dedicated!

I went today March 16th and was helped by the mana...

I went today March 16th and was helped by the manager. Didn't get his name. I had bought a pair of running shoes January 19th, and they started to rip. I didn't have the receipt, but he took the time to search in the computer for the receipt. He found it I got to exchange my shoes. Amazing customer service. I will always get my running shoes there. Bravo sports experts

I think I had the best service ever. I didn't end up purchasing right away, but I learned a lot about shoes.

Now I have to do some homework.

I think the guy that helped me was named Matt he's about 6'1 blonde. If he's helping you you're in good hands.

I gotta do some research on the shoes and insoles before I go back for my purchase.

Really bad return policy on GoPro cameras. Returne...

Really bad return policy on GoPro cameras. Returned within the first 15 days of use however the manager was unwilling to make the return because we had used one of the mounts. He was also unwilling to deduct from our return (we said take 10$ off) because we didn't return the mount but insisted that they send it to GoPro to see if it was returnable or a store credit or some BS like that. BTW mounts are a ONE TIME USE because they are 3M tape and cannot be removed from the surface. The wait time for GoPro is an estimated 4-6 weeks. All this over a 2$ piece of plastic and tape. Also the camera is actually defective (corrupted files, dead battery within minutes of charging, got extremely hot) but he insisted that in order to return it it must be in new condition in order to sell to other customers...which is why i suspect that the camera itself was already used when we bought it.

I went in and at checkout the cashier could not take the pin out of the shirt. She then gave it to a manager who went in the back and came back 20 minutes later after having ripped the shirt. Luckily there was another one. When I got home I realized that the shoes I had bought were two different sizes. Terrible service.

Service depends on the employee who serves you. The prices are obviously quite high as expected in an expert sport. I recommend looking for the items you want to buy online because they can be found cheaper.
