Spoke Cafe, UWO Reviews

Good food and live events held here. My only issue was one time getting food poisoning from the nachos with chicken; we had a club event and ordered a few rounds of nachos and the staff told us they ran out of frozen chicken so they had to cook up some instead, unfortunately they weren't cooked well enough and this led to a horrible night and when I called to politely mention what had happened the next day the supervisor denied any wrongdoing on their part.

I love the Cafe part of Spoke and over the years they have changed a bunch of things up but the restaurant part of the spoke doesn't have any amazing dishes as far as I can remember but the chicken fingers are something that everyone seems to love!! I only go to the Spoke for bagels and that's what they're known for, I've gotten every kind of over the years but my fav is Jalapeno Cheddar Bagel with cucumber dill spread.

Great pub and cafe that has evolved over the years!

My own experience at this place was very good. The staff was helpful, prices was fair and they didn't keep me waiting while preparing my order. Note that the place was packed with undergraduate students.

DO NOT ORDER EGG MUFFINS HERE

They store cooked eggs over weekends and over a period of 4-5 days. Even when these eggs get a rancid taste they still serve them

I just had to spit one out. I stopped eating here on Mondays because about 50% of the time the eggs were rancid on that day. Now Fridays aren't safe either. I am not eating here again

Food at the spoke has improved over the years. The current layout was a renovation effort by the university gone wrong. The spoke lost its homey and student friendly feel. The current layout echoes more of a McDonald s and less of a student pub. New high tables and stiff couches make it difficult to enjoy sitting in this once cozy student pit stop.

Nice place with a good selection of beers. Food is decent, love Trivia on Thursdays!

Bagels are to die for! There is usually a big line because of the constant volume in UCC, but it is worth the wait! Super nice staff!

Food tastes good in this place and also customer service is very good
