This company is formerly IPEDEX owned and managed by the French Management. I started working here in 1999 and was assigned in the OGD II Project in Habshan. This Project is a joint venture of Technip, France and Bechtel, USA. IPEDEX (SPIE) have supplied several kinds of Disciplined Engineers for the project which majority are Filipinos (more than 20 Engineers including myself) with mixed up of some Indians and Thailandees. I worked in the OGD II Project from Dec 1999 up until June 2001 and I am one of the personnel who were left to handover the project and all documentation.

Due to the talent possessed and exerted by the Filipino's in this considered one of the gigantic project in the UAE, many more projects from UAE major companies like ADNOC and ADGAS (the National companies in the UAE), IPEDEX were always awarded by many more projects not only in the UAE but also in the neihgboring countries like Qatar and Oman.

In the year 2001 after my completion with OGD II

After the OGD II, I was luckily assigned by IPEDEX (SPIE) in Qatar as Senior Quality Engineer for Qatar Petroleum. This is the very first opportunity for me to lead the project quality and implement the requirement as consultant. I was in the client side, QP and I am managing the and ensuring the full quality requirement of the project implemented by the CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor. The project was Common Cooling Water Project for Ras Laffan Industrial City. I was in the first Phase of the project where the pipe used are manufactured at site by the Korean Company called Hyo Jong.,

In the year 2010, I was luckily bneing assigned as Project Quality Manager for the construction of the Emirates Aluminum Project (EMAL) in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi. I am seconded to Fives Solios (French Company) a main contractor for the portion of the EMAL construction. This is only a minor project but specialized Engineers of the main Company which are all French were came from IPEDEX France.

I have no any negative feedback as far as SPIE deals with their employees. SPIE take care of their people and give all the benefits to all employees in line with the countries labor policy. I can say that SPIE is one of the great help to boost up my carreer and financial capacity to enhance my personal status in the Filipino society.

To the SPIE management during the above mentioned period of my employment, I wholeheartedfly conveying my warm gratitude for the opportunity offered and trust granted to me to exert my talent and capacity and further boost up my carreer in the OIL & GAS Industry. A special thanks to Ms. Rose Swan (now retired) who always put me in a very nice assignmenyt and of course withe the approval of Mr. Jean Courbier,.

I am still looking forward for another great opportunity to work with SPIE again. Generally, I will consider SPIE as one of the greatest employer I ever had in my work history.
