Small and quaint. Food was delicious and drinks are affordable. The staff were all smiles and didn t have us waiting for anything! Great place!

Awesome food! Recommend reservations on a Friday night or you will wait. But it was worth it.

Food was excellent. Service was awesome. If there is one downside its the parking. Other than that this a great place to eat and is must if you want good food.

The light breading on the Friday perch fry is as good as it gets anywhere in Wisconsin. An excellent choice to start or dine in Appleton.

Good fish. For being the only two people in there at 3pm on a Friday I would have hoped for better service. Place is hard to get out of .

Portions need to be be a lot bigger for the price of some items.

Upscale and unique decor, menu is very nice, the food is very well prepared with quality ingredients, wonderfully executed and reasonably priced. Spats is a real gem!

We love spats. The owners and staff are always friendly and accommodating and the Salmon is the BEST, fresh, hand cut filets cooked perfectly every time!

Great Food, Creative Chef, Enjoyable atmosphere ~ wonderful stop before going to Fox Cities PAC shows! Just let them know you have tickets ~ they will make sure you arrive well before the "curtains open"

I was very happy with this experience. The staff was very nice and friendly. I went out to dinner with my sister and I let the waitress know I would like to pay for dinner. The restaurant was busy and she didn't forget to make sure this happened. I would give the food about 3 stars. I got the salmon dinner and thought it had to much sauce on top of it. The really big carrot I got with my dinner I didn't really understand. I love that I got a lot of food and didn't pay an arm and a leg. I left the restaurant full and satisfied. I can't wait to go again.

Friendly, efficient staff. Cream of mushroom soup was thick, full of mushrooms and very tasty. Burger was juicy, done just as I ordered. Fun atmosphere! Hope to return next time I'm in Appleton.

This place needs MAJOR UPDATING, it even smells old and musty! The food was NOTHING special either!! I DO NOT recommend at all. I will never go back.

Great waitress,limited menu for Sunday food was good,would like to see weekday choices.

It was friendly peaceful and you could sit and talk while eating and after eating without having somebody rush you out to get the table so is quite enjoyable

Went there during mile of music, so they had a limited menu. What we had was very good. I intend to go back at some point when their full menu is available.

Love the casual, intimate atmosphere and the food is SO good. I have been here several times and cannot help but order the Jameson Burger (which and fries ...with copious amounts of Spats sauce.

Food was excellent. Priced right and even though our order was given to someone else with the same name we were taken care of in a most respectful way. 4 stars not 5 because of the mix up. Still a great job. Thanks guys.

They have great cheese curds and the food in general is good. This place deserves more attention than it gets.

We were at Mile of music, it was 87 and hot... Spats provided free water as we listened to music. Our waitress although she WAS busy AS heck... was WONDERFUL! My husband's food was spectacular... my bruschetta"chicken" salad was absolutely the worst salad I've ever had in my life. The lettuce was swimming in water, the "chicken was the color beige... only...beige not appetising looking... it had 4 drops of vinaigrette ...I wish I was exaggerating... I'm not. With all that being said.... I'd go back and try that burger my husband had because it looked spectacular and he said it was GREAT! THE CHEESE CURDS WERE EXCELLENT! Ice tea was refilled and cool!

Always welcoming, friendly staff! Great menu variety from sandwiches to burgers to dinners and nightly specials. Haven't been disappointed in the 15 years we've been going.

Spats is a fantastic place for a nice lunch. I got the loaded prime rib sandwich and it's to die for. Waitress was very warm and attentive and I could not have asked for better service.

Best brunch menu in Appleton, by far! Great and consistent food and service, spatious patio, indoor dining is very supper club-esque.

Small and sometimes a little load but their food is great! Watch for those specialty menus around the holidays, delicious and so fun!

Great cheese curds and service. However, the steak was not cooked correctly so make sure you check first if this is something you are concerned with.

I have stopped in there many times for dinner. I have never been disappointed. I love the Spats sauce, especially on their fries. I loved it some much that I bought a few bottles to take home.

Spats never disappoints!! Especially with their Corned Beef and Cabbage!! Still large portions, meat is tender and no fat! Yummy!

First time trying Spats. Perch sandwich was good. Cozy atmosphere. With so many dining options in the area, I don't know that there's much to draw us back over other choices.

Love this place excellent food very friendly staff. My favorite restaurant! They make the best prime rib sandwich I made it a philly very good with spats sauce. Love the coconut shrimp never tasted it that good before. The spat fries are great with spats sauce. My husband loves the perch dinner and the black forest sandwich.

We always go there for st Patrick s Day for best corned beef and cabbage and Irish stew. Plus the portion that they give there I had leftovers for 2 days for lunch. Affordable price and the stuff is absolutely great, friendly, working hard, filling up the atmosphere with there outfits. Place was packed, but I feel like waiting time wasn t badThanks guys

I always say a restaurant either has great food OR great service, but rarely both. This is one of those rare places that has both!

They were very accommodating for my friend who needs gluten-free even though they don't have any specific gluten-free menu items listed. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff was friendly.

The Spatio is amazing! Their drinks are great, service was awesome, and the Herbie Burger was outstanding! Will definitely go there again- plus it's one of the only outdoor locations downtown Appleton.
