Been here 17 years and they haven't run me off yet.

By far the worst management ever . They do not follow company policy its a drug addict late to work didn't show up to work but you my buddy kind of place.

Only management is giving good reviews here. The building brick walls are broken up and full of holes to the outside, even the ceiling is covered in dust. The Air is thick with nasal irritants such as heavy dust, forklift compressed gas exhaust and forklift gas leaks, oil. Safety hazards such as workers that have no knowledge of welding hazards are forced to pass by open welding booths that aren't fully shielding the dangerous UV weld arc. Massive amounts of hydrologic oil and grease sets heavy in the air from being caked on floors around the stamping areas the workers have to stand in these conditions. Management walks around in their suits and skirts with noses held high to the workers that are doing the dirty work. Management keeps conversation very short with workers with a "you are below me, why are you talking to me" attitude. The supervisors will allow their friends to waste time on phones and stand around talking on the clock but whomever is on bad terms with said supervisors will be reported for the simplest things even though they see other workers getting away. Unfairness is all around in Spartanburg Steel. You're better off working with bmw, Prologistics, bentler or any other production plant. The only good thing I have to say about this place is they keep the front grass cut and office clean and temperature controlled. Ha, only pleasing to customers whom don't know the what all goes on behind that office in the plant even with a walk around tour. Spartanburg Steel Productions, these are all factual and can be proven any minute by asking any worker that's been there over a month. Do better. The workers make your schooling worth while, without them you'll be putting in resumes. Learn to appreciate and understand the foundation beneath your nose.

Says is open 24 hrs everyday got here on a Sunday evening guard turned me away said hasn't been 24 hrs in a long time they need to change info then

You will work 7 days a week. Hope you enjoy political supervision.

Do not join this company as a maintenance technician. You will be treated very poorly. Management doesn't care about you since your department doesn't directly make money for them. Production will never own up to their mistakes and punish anyone so you will keep seeing the same broken equipment a few days after you spent hours repairing it. It is soul destroying and I don't wish this job on anyone.
