Absolute horrible machines with even worse customer service. Their dryer caught my blanket on fire after the machine stopped spinning but still produced heat. After emailing Adrienne Andersen ( their customer service boss) she responded with very unprofessional and rude comments. Putting all the blame on me and taking zero responsibility for her broken machines. I get it user beware but still when the machines break causing damage to my belongings you d think I d get a bit more respect from the customer service if you can even call it that.

Poor design on the dryers, the lint collection tray is open to the clothes, as you open the dryer door your clothes fall into the lint tray and all the lint attaches to your clothing and its not easy shaking it off. Also, when you open the dryer door before, and sometimes after, the dryer time is done, the dryer air keeps blowing and you get a face full of lint that keeps blowing in your face, eyes, hair while you attempt to dodge it and remove your cloths. Not a good time right now to get an entire day of other peoples lint in your face..... very poor engineering/design.

The absolute WORST! For over 3 weeks the tenants have been waiting for this horrible company to fix its payment machine. It will only accept cash, the debit/credit machine has been defective for weeks now. Emails and phone calls from the tenants have gone unanswered and nothing is being done to fix the situation. Why the building management switched over to sparkle is beyond me! TERRIBLE! Sad that a 0 rating can not be left.

My building just changed provider to Sparkle. They raised the prices by $0.5 to $1 depending on the machine after only a week. On to of that 1 machine is already out of service and another one down not work with my card. Horrendous providers.

We got all new machines by Sparkle from coinomatic. Which is beyond me, and another subject. The first time I used the machine the water did not come out to wash my clothes. I email the address available on the machine and got my money back right away. After doing laundry few more times I noticed that the washing machine doesn't even start putting water for a few minutes. Also during the cycle it's stops and starts again with a very long pause. What I'm trying to say is the machine doesn't even start washing for about 5 minutes and I never see any suds or evidence that is actually washing like I did with coin a Matic. I don't know which one is worse

Their dryer burnt and melted my clothing and they said I overloaded the dryer even though I have photo evidence that I didn't. I would recommend that Homestead Land Holdings removes this company from their buildings. It is a disgrace to be working with Sparke Solutions and gives your company a bad name.

This is a horrible company. When I asked for the refund of money left on the laundry card, they said they'll issue a check. The check arrived weeks later, they sent the check to the wrong address (they put the apartment number in front of the street number), and the check was not signed. Since it was missing signatures, the bank would not deposit it. When I asked the company about it, they said they would issue another check, but it never arrived. The original check was issued on April 7th of 2020. I am writing this review on January 27, 2021. It's been almost a year with multiple calls and emails. I event sent them the photo of the check and emailed the correct address. If you are an institution, a corporation, or a governmental agency considering Sparkle Solutions for a contract service, DO NOT give them your contract. These guys should be sued as a part of a larger class action suit. In addition, appropriate authorities should investigate their practice and procedures on pricing, money card additions, leftover reimbursements, etc.

Machines are so old nasty smelly, sometimes your clothing are still wet so you have to rewash again. Absolutely disgusted by this company. My apartment building uses Sparkle washers and dryers. We use their payment cards and top-up machines but sometimes these top-up machines are out of service. I tend to do my laundry in the evening , which is after hours, so the quickest the issue can be resolved is the next day.
When their machines are out of service they can still take your money. I brought the issue up with one of their representatives and they said they would mail me a credit for the wash. I never received a credit and that was months ago.

I would give Sparkle 0 star if that was an option. If you can choose, do not go with Sparkle. Unfortunately, my building is tied with Sparkle so I am stuck with them. Their machines break frequently and their customer service is terrible. I first reached out to them in Aug 28 and I got no one responding: Ray, Maria, Bruce M, Matt V. Another incident occurred and Ray finally responded but the resolution has been poor. One of the dryer ruined a top and they think $20 on a card will resolve it. That will only give the money back to them and it does not help my replace my top. Now Lisa, who Ray has me dealing with, wants me to send the shirt to them, after sending photos. What kind of ridiculous service is this?!? They replaced our old machines with "new" ones but once we got them, we very quickly saw they are not new, they are old refurbished machines. They are worse than our old ones. The fact upper management shows very little about customer service, is a testament to just how little they care about their customers or providing good service.

Terrible, unresponsive service. In our building the card loading machine is never working properly. We are asked to use bills only, but guess what, the machine will not accept neither 5, nor 10 and 20 $ bills. Every time there is a different excuse by customer rep (no solution though) - oh, you need old bills, or newer bills, but not the newest, and not 10$ today, no wrinkles on paper, and so on and on. So the customer is put in position of begging the service to accept money? Wow, one terrific business model. No wonder their BBB accreditation was revoked. Hope they are bankrupt soon.

There washing machine destroyed my clothes (over $100 in damages for 2 hoodies). They were mangled & chewed up from getting caught on 2 large screws, because someone forgot to install the rubber guard that protects against this.

After, explaining this to customer service (two different times) & offering to provide pictures as proof, I was reassured that I would get a call back about whether or not I'd get any compensation. But, still nothing.

Wish there was a zero star..old machines. Not working properly. At times your card will be charged but the machine will not function. This has happened to me more than ones. I always see their maintenance guys and I wonder what they are fixing because the machines are garbage.

Also, detergent residue visible, since our property manager decided it was for the best they reduce the water pressure, so in the given 38-minute slot, the load does not get enough water. Sad but true. Not sure who to blame.

I would give no stars if possible! I paid for a 10$ card from the washing-card-machine and guess what the card value was only 5$.
Second: The first machine I ve tried gave an error, but they took the 2.25$. Second wasing machine, the same, it display the same error, but the money have bern taken from the card.

Useless. Machines have been down MORE since they "took over". Call in to report an issue, give them all the information they want, and then they say, "Oh you're not the building manager, we can't do anything for you, your building manager has to call us to start a service call". Well gee, why do you plaster the machines and the walls with stickers with your number on it?
Now I take my laundry to the laundromat where everything works properly. There's always a solution to the problem :) Only problem I have now is getting the money back off the card we had to use.

Worst washing machines! You can barely fit any clothes in them and most of the time the clothes come out soaking wet with detergent all over them. Customer service is always rude and unwilling to help. If you don t remember the number of the machine that gave you trouble, they don t want to help. You basically have to beg for a refund. Twice I called about faulty washing machines and they said we ll send out a technician or I suggest you run another load . Each load costs money but it seems like they don t realize that. Dryers seem large but many times my clothes have melted together. Machines always down for repair. Very frustrating!

They replaced our our old sparkle machines with new ones that cost more per use and take less clothes. Also without any notice our card with money on it is useless because we have new machines which need new cards that look exactly the same. Customer service doesn't know what we are talking about and wants us to mail in our "old and damaged" card. As far as I see it it's a scam and everyone would be better off at the laundramat.

Sparkle Solutions has a lot of nerve raising fees for use of their machines. At our location (35 Esterbrooke Avenue, North York), at least two washers vibrate so badly that they work out of their place and into the aisle. I have yet to find a dryer that knows the difference between Hot, Medium and Low (some can actually work on Delicate) - everything is HOT. Today, I set on Low and went back 15 minutes prior to finish - items were too hot to handle; I couldn't touch to fold them for another 10 minutes. I have put up with a lot over the years, but I am really angry about such poor results.

If I could put zero stars, I would. We had this "service" installed in our building at the beginning of July (2 weeks later than they had initially said they would install) and 1 of the 2 machines did not work for most of 2 months due to a programming error with the card reader. After multiple calls to their customer service number (using my cell minutes where I was on hold for 3-10 minutes for each call), including leaving voice mail with a supervisor, because apparently they don't answer calls directly (nor do they return calls) I finally emailed twice. On the second request I received assurance, again, that a technician would be dispatched. Our building manager also called their local technician and he also did not respond. They finally sent someone out after 7 weeks of waiting and repeated calls from tenants and the building manager. Now, a week later, my card no longer works at all due to a "card error" even though it has sufficient credit. I have once again been assured that a technician will contact me. I won't hold my breath and will attend a laundry mat instead. Bloody inconvenient.

All the dryers and washers at 1 Vendome Place have issues! Tenants have complained several times and service requests have been submitted by them. They just ignore you. The washing machines are always leaking and the dryers don't even emit any heat. My clothes are always damp. TERRIBLE solutions service.

"Accommodating" describes the Sparkle Solutions team. I had purchased their appliance through a refurbish-vendor, so Sparkle hadn't even made the sale. Yet when I needed to change the price on the coin-slot, Sparkle obliged my request to do it myself. They let me come into their office as they demonstrated the procedure. Then once I was trying to do it myself, they gifted me plenty of phone time because I still needed a lot of guidance. I actually had to revisit their office for more help. In the end I learned, and it was due to their patience and kindness.

Called them to request a technician and give my money back instead got a lecture how to wash my backpack proper way.First you have to pay for an EMPTY machine to wash the previous user residue, then PAY AGAIN to wash it inside out ( good luck with that especially if it's a backpack for a skateboarder) or inside your pillowcase. Are they nuts ? They probably have an answer for everything just to avoid responsibilities . And that washer was just installed this month. I can only imagine what it will burn next.

The front under the rubber is filled with "stuff" from huundreds of other peoples dirty clothes. Clothes smell awfull if you do not use a fragrence in deturgent. I believe this is due to unclean machines.
We have not had any issues with paying and refilling our cards. Thank you.

Today I was lining up to gain my badge as an exhibitor at the Spring Fest and overheard a woman named Maria (she was yelling asking how many ways there are to spell Maria) get absolutely irate at the event staff. Once I checked myself in I walked around the booths and came to Sparkle Solutions, where she apparently was located. I don't know what this woman does for your company but judging by your reviews addressing rudeness on Google it is clear that you need to rethink your outward-facing staff members. I have never in my life seen worse behavior in public where one can be easily identified and attached to their company.

She was professional, respectful, and the installations staff were as well very professional, quick and made sure that everything was running properly. Infuriatingly useless laundry service, if your rental company (Homestead/Minto/Etc) chooses this company for the machines in the laundry room; be very concerned.

Well working and cheaper machines were replaced and "upgraded" with ones provided by Sparkle Solutions. Now, they are more expensive and don't work as well as before. Especially the dryers! 9 out of every 10 times, my clothes will still be damp even when I extend the drying process by 20-30 minutes beyond the normal time. I spend extra as is to try to ensure my clothes will be dry, only to have to pay for another entire session. It's like they're deliberately weaker than normal so that you bleed money into the machines.

At my building, a washer and dryer load costs $5 total; at $2.50 individually between each machine. That racks up pretty quickly if you have more than one load, so you can imagine the frustration of having to expend extra when you shouldn't have to. There's no overloading of any kind involved either, if anything my loads are smaller than normal and still come out damp. The laundry room now as well has a very pungent dirty water smell that wasn't present before the "upgrade" to the machines.

As stated near the start of this review, if your rental establishment decides to go with this company or is already using them... prepare to do your laundry elsewhere.

This is third time during last few months when my laundry remains absolutely wet in the dryer machine after running a full cycle. I did open service requests with Sparkle Solutions, but never seen any refunds. That laundry equipment company was unable to provide decent customer service. If you don't want trouble with your laundry equipment, don't move to a building that uses Sparkle Solutions as their laundry provider. It's not just money lost and the time wasted, but how annoying it is to deal with that service.

This Company replaced Coinamatic in the building I live in. At first, they seemed to be a HUGE step in the right direction. Now is another story - their "myLaundroworks" online laundry Site SUCKS. Half the time it does not display accurate time left on washers and dryers, or you can't get into the Site at all. Frustrating and unacceptable.

Also, the bill acceptor on their payment machine doesn't take bills over $20.00 and that's if it even works at all. Most of the time it spits out your $5.00, $10.00, and $20.00 bills without adding the funds to your mySparkle laundry card. You have no choice but using either debit card or credit card. Do not recommend this Company AT ALL.
